I'm loving Grendel!  What a great idea for Severus to have a hidden retreat for himself complete with a pet companion.  And it's really nice to know he had a place to escape from the madness from time to time.  It's just odd to see he selected a similar location to the DE's and Voldemort himself.  This was a sweet chapter.  I can't wait to see what happens when we get our Severus back.  Raven is nice but I miss the power and complexity of Severus Snape.  I hope we get to see him soon.

Grendel sounds fascinating. A typical gift from Hagrid.So now it seems that their journey is almost at its end. I am on the edge of my seat as to what they will find in Voldemort's cave. It was a good idea for them to store a few memories. Snape may need those to be convinced of his love for the "insufferable know-it-all."

I think we're all scared for them.  I especially like Severus/Raven's childlike attitude.  It would be ashame for him to lose all of that.

I really like hearing Minerva's thoughts on Sev's past and what ment to her.It makes her seem human.I always thought of her as a cold fish.It's nice to see her show some warmth. I am really hoping that you see your way clear to mix both Raven and Sev together. Thanks for the great up date,it always makes my day to read a new chappy! once again 5 out of 5!

I was a little behind on my reading and I just now read the last three chapters. This story really pulls at the heart strings. Raven shock over seeing himself in the penseive was a great scene. The task of finding Voldemort's lair appears insurmountable. Then there is the worry of will Raven's persona be remembered. You are doing a wonderful job with building the drama and suspense.

Your writing is so sad and hopeful at the same time.  Love it.

This is such a lovely chapter.   I love the way Raven and Hermione both want to insure that in some way he will remember his present life and his feelings for the witch now in his arms.  The Ursilor Cave is a beautiful place and was perfect for their first venture into the caves to get the feel of them.  I so happy that Minerva is happy for the two of them and the love they obviously share.I can't wait for the next chapter to find out what they do next.Beth

I love caves, the rock formations... and the creatures that live there - like exploring another planet. I would have had just as much fun as Raven in their first cave.But they must be so very careful. When they do find Voldemort's cave, I'm sure the booby-traps and pit-falls will await them at every turn!Interesting story line. I hope Raven retains some of his tenderness, or Snape realizes that he can bring out his tender side now that Voldy has been defeated, when they finally give Snape back his memories.

How nice that Minerva will support the relationship.  Hopefully Severus will be able to integrate both personalities with minimal difficulties.
