That was quite poignant.  I feel like they do, actually.  I like Raven, and I hope Snape doesn't lose him.

Another great chappie!  I can understand Raven's fear of Snape not remembering him as he is here with Hermione.  All he knows about his former self is that he was feared and disliked by many who knew him, but maybe they will be able to find some members of the Order who knew the hard working, noble wizard who did the things no one else could do to insure the downfall of Voldemort.I think the talk they had about making decisions and working together was time well spent.  Now Raven knows how much Hermione cares and that she worries about "losing" him, and now that she knows he wants to be able to retain the man he is now, they can make the choices about what to do together.I'm looking forward to their "treasure hunt" in Spinner's End, and hope they find some good surprises to help them on their quest.  I can hardly wait for your next update!Beth

Perfect, Jeannie.  I wonder if Raven thought anything he read in the book felt familiar?  I know he will eventually have to come to terms with the wizard he used to be and the things that happened, but I hope he will not forget the man he became between the first and second wars.  He will need Hermione's help to know the truth about himself because "Writers never got everything right."

I very much like the way he expresses his growing affection for Hermione... the kisses are to die for!  And  I loved his reaction when the pain went away and seeing his wound healed. 

When he was able to relax and perform Wingardium Leviosa flawlessly, I cheered!  He even thought to ask her about doing the spell without his wand.  I have to think he is beginning to have a bit of recall, even if it is subconsciously.  LOL!  "Like a child riding a broom for the first time."  I would have loved to have been able to see his face.  What fun!

This was a wonderful chapter!  Thank you.  Now I'm off to read the next one.Beth

Severus has suffered so much, and now he has come to rely on alcohol to manage his pain and his sadness.  He and Hermione both have their work cut out for them, and it will be a long haul, but I think they can help each other!Good chapter!Beth

This continues to be good; it's very different. My heart goes out to Severus (and Hermione too for that matter.)  I really hope his memory will start to return soon, although right at the moment I guess he's a 'nicer' version of his former self in many ways - certainly from Hermione's POV - and I can't help but wonder if all hell will break loose once he does get all his faculties back! :-)

Ahh... this is brilliant. I think he will start to remember more now he's home, but I hope he doesn't turn on Hermione when he memory fully returns!
