I know it's been along time but I'm back.Yours was the first story I looked up.I love how the two men are blending together.Can't wait for more.

Finding the email saying that this chapter was ready to be viewed really made my day!  I'm so glad that love finally became a reality for Severus.  He's been holding on to that shield of mistrust and hurt for so long, it was really something special seeing Hermione's feelings for him shatter it.  Him singing the spell while looking into her eyes was over the top!Fantastic update and fantastic author's note.  I'm so glad that you have completed this great story.  I can't wait to see all the things you have in store for our couple.  :D

I look forward to Severus awakening.  How will he fare that first time waking up knowing he is in love with the person he has beside him?  Anyone who has experienced such a time knows how moving it is, how magical it must be for a wizard of Severus' power.  Am I reading this correctly, that the Singer must truly love the one that he is singing for?  Is that why there were all those fireworks when he sang for Hermione?  It will be interesting to find out what his fireworks look like for Harry, the last connection the wizarding world has to Lilly Evans.  This story has been amazing.  Your characterization is, not only canon (if we disregard events and just consider the people involved), but also very believable.  I look forward to each chapter that comes out.

I really like this story and can't wait for more.  The plot is original and engaging, which I really enjoy.  Thank you for sharing this with us and I hope you write more.  Also, if you write original fiction, I would love to know.  And, if you don't, you should.  You have a great voice and could surely put some very good work out there.

This was a good chapter.  And yes, men most certainly do have their fantasies but, then again, so do us ladies when it comes to tall, dark Potions masters, eh!

I hope that their love making will fuel Severus' recall of his memories of Hermione when he was Raven.  He can never forget what it was like to be with her in his bed, to feel her in his arms, to make love to her.Perhaps their journey to find the Gypsies to learn of their music will give Severus the insight to perfect the spell that will cure Harry.In chapter 19 when Hermione and Raven were with the band of Gypsies, an old woman had pulled Hermione aside and warned her of the dangers that lay ahead of them as they sought Voldemort's lair: “The place you search for is evil, and you must beware. Love can be lost there, lives changed, futures unknown, good, bad, it is what you make it.”Perhaps they will find this same band of Gypsies, and the old woman will say something that will help Severus to recall his memories of loving Hermione before he became only Severus again and lost his connection with Raven.I can't wait to read your next update.  This one was fabulous!!!Beth

As long as Hermione is willing to admit that sex with Severus doesn't equal love, she will be fine.  If she crosses that line, she will be heartbroken.I'm so excited that they are going back to see the gypsies.  Great update.  :D

I think what happened will work to Hermione's advantage. Severus will not be able to forget what happened easily and he won't want to. It will become the fuel of his fantasies. I wish Severus would look at Raven's diary. He left some memories, too, didn't he?

He had a willing woman wanting to stay in his bed, it would be difficult for most men to not give in.  But it may be a reminder of something more.

when she called him raven and he left i cried with her.  glad to see him integrating so well.  too fast and it could be overwhelming.  it's just right.  thanks muchly for the wonderful update.

Good job!  You've captured Severus right down to his socks.  It seems that fear of being hurt again like he was by his father's abusive behavior, his mother's inability to defend him as a young child, the constant torment at the hands of the Marauders when he was a student. and last but not least, Lily. has left him with no desire for emotional attachment.  For Severus, caring has always brought pain.I don't see him changing just yet.  Until his fear of losing what Raven had built with Hermione becomes greater than his fear of losing her love, I don't think our Potions master will be able to find the courage to delve into Raven's journal or his mother's memories.  I've always believed that the term "coward" had no place in a description of "Severus the man" except in this one area of his life.  Over the years he has come to equate "loving someone" with eventual heartache and disappointment.On the other hand, Hermione has always had a loving and giving nature, and I pray that she doesn't give up on Severus.  Given enough time to sort out his feelings and explore this duality that is Raven/Severus, I have great hope that he will come to integrate these two sides of himself.  It's kind of like having a multiple personality except that instead of neither personality being aware of the other, both Raven and Severus are keenly aware of each other.Severus' treatment of Hermione at the end of this chapter was heartbreaking to see, but I don't think he can get to where he needs to be right away.  The old Severus is calling the shots right now, and he's not ready to get to know Raven any better than he does just yet.Where has Severus gone?  What does the have to do that he had to leave so quickly?  Please let Hermione be all right.  Please let Minerva and Albus help her to weather this difficult time ahead.Great chapter, Jeannie.Beth

I've just been playing 'catch up' on this story & am entralled by the 'twist' you've given it.  I must admit I thought that 'Raven' would just simply take over Severus rather than vice versa (how naive is that!) But I also feel sure that this nicer character is still part of Snape and will re-emerge in time!This is a very different story and I have loved seeing how you have 'grown' as an author as you've been writing it.  I really look forward to seeing where it goes now ... :-)
