Age 59, I have been a Severus and Alan Rickman fan for a couple years. I post SS/HG stories.
I went to NY last week to see Seminar (Jan 4, 20012) It was wonderful.
Shades of Severus in his character and his house. I was priviledge to see Alan up close an personal after the play.

I agree it would be really horrible especially to be lost as he was at the beginning with no one who knew who he was,
I hope he remembers who he is soon, it's terrible to see him like this. I think they will be a great help to each other as soon as he remembers.

Such a sad beginning, everyone she loves is gone. He has always been a tragic character, I hope he finds happiness.

Of course he'd remember Hagrid. I'm surprised Hermione didn't cry when she saw the dress. I know I would have.

I love that Hagrid thinks he's all these creatures mummy. But that was an absolutely beautiful Christmas. Wonderful chapter.

This is such a wonderful Christmas morning for our favorite love birds. The gifts they chose for each other were so very thoughtful and reflected the love, joy, and compassion each has for the other.I love Hagrid's comment when he saw Grendel, “Why, bless me, he remembers his mummy.” I reminded me of when Norbert hatched on his table. LOL!I'm looking forward to to seeing how successful Severus and Hermione are at trying to keep Molly and Ginny from carrying through on those elaborate wedding plans they would be already planning.Thank you for such a sweet update.Beth

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I did kind of borrow that line. It just fit perfectly. Got a line from Star Wars movie in the next one LOL. We have another short adventure before the wedding. Hope you enjoy it.

Another wonderful update, a truly wonderful update. Grendel is wonderful, and Hagrids comment about him remembering his mummy was priceless and very much a Hagrid thing to say. I am looking forward to hear Mollys plans for their wedding:-))

Thanks so much, Grendel seems to be a hit. I love the old fuzzy guy, I will miss him. I wish I could draw a picture of him. He's a bit scary LOL.I think Severus and Hermione get the kind of wedding they want.Hope you enjoy how they marry:)

Thank you, We know how Hagrid is with each of his babies. The fact that he saw Severus had such a need for the magical guy and gave him Grendel speaks volumes doesn't it.Grab those hankies for the next one it makes me and my beta cry LOL.
Very sweet Christmas scene between Hermioe and Severus. Love the suprise wedding dress and date - aught to be interesting to see what Molly & Ginny come up with!Everyone laughed when they heard Hagrid say, “Why, bless me, he remembers his mummy.” Good lord, typical Hagrid!

Sure, I'd love a future one-shot or sequel to this. Lots of potential for adventures, esp with Grendel's ability to heal. Go, Grendel!
how lovely to see harry and severus coming to such an understanding. i always wondered if they would have become close if harry had gone into slytherin. they had a lot in common. wonderful update. thanks and mucho smoochies

I'm glad you are enjoying the story. I would have hoped that had Severus lived Harry and he would have eventually come to built a friendship. Harry tells Voldemort all about Severus in the last scene of DH everyone around them would have heard him give severus the credit for all he'd done. I think Harry would have grow up by leaps and bounds that day.Yes they did have a lot in common.Thank so much for your review.
It was such a blessing for Harry to be able to see and hear his mother as she cuddled him and talked with Severus' mother. Hearing what Severus' mother told Lily about why she had felt she had to send her son away also helped Harry understand the Potions master much better. It will be wonderful having Harry and Ginny at Hogwarts with Severus and Hermione.
I'm glad that Xenophilius will be telling their story. He is a good man and he will tell the world all that Severus Snape did to protect them, and all the courage that Hermione Granger had to battle for them all and to help restore Severus to himself. Luna and Neville's wedding will indeed be a happy occasion with so many friends coming together to celebrate their marriage.
I can't wait to see what happens next! Xenophilius' article in The Quibbler announcing their engagement is icing on the cake. You done good, Jeannie!Beth

Beth, Thanks for your many kind comments. I may have to do a sequal someday to include all the things this story doesn't actually get to. Five more chapetrs to go :) I hope people will enjoy the rest of the tale and let me know. My reviews have tappered off and I've lost some people I relaly enjoyed hearing from. Thanks so much fr hanging in here with me, there are about 10 others who really keep letting me know and I appreciate them and your long comments.
