Age 59, I have been a Severus and Alan Rickman fan for a couple years. I post SS/HG stories.
I went to NY last week to see Seminar (Jan 4, 20012) It was wonderful.
Shades of Severus in his character and his house. I was priviledge to see Alan up close an personal after the play.

I wonder how many other DE hideouts they will find before arriving at Riddle's lair...dum de dum dum!
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
:) lol Guess you will finf out soon. another chapter hould be validated by tomorrow, I'm writing Ch 30 now.
Thanks
They might should listen to the old man, but then Harry....oh well.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Maybe they shoould have but magical signatures were what they were looking for. That't one of the ways to find Voldemort's Lair.
Thanks for writing.
I've just read up to this chapter in one sitting. It's a really good read, looking forward to more. Excited to hear you have so much written and ready to post soon.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Wow thats a lot on one sitting. I'm glad you liked it so much. Hope to get this story completed inthe next few weeks. No sure how it's going to end myself. Thanks so much for your comment.
Oh no. Poor Snape.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
He did have some tough times at the beginning.
Oh man, you sure can write! I love these stories where Snape is a wreck in the beginning. I hope they get themselves sorted out, though. Anyway, I'm intrigued and very much interested in reading the next chapter!
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Thank you so much I'm glad you found my story. I look forward to seeing what you think of it. I'm writing chapter 28 today :)
Oh, we are gettiing closer!
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Yes we are, Ive been working hard this last couple days, I'm not up to new stuff. Chapter 28, thanks so much for all your help.
poor hermione. i've found it's easier to forgive people that hurt us rather than those who hurt the ones we love. wonderful update. thanks so much
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Theres so much more to come. I'm working hard to get new material written. I'm on ch 28.
I think this was a necessary chapter. Hermione needed to confront her feelings regarding her parents murders. In the beginning of your story she had run away from her life because of it. Perhaps her confrontation will help her go forward from here.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
I'm glad you liked the inserted chapter. It wasn't my favorite to write. I'm glad it had some merit. Thanks.
Your mistake is to our benefit. I enjoyed the chapter. It shows a very human side to Hermione (not always the goodie two shoes) and a wise and compassionate side to Snape/Raven. They both have their demonds, but they will help each other confront them.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
I'm so glad you liked it. Thanks so much for you comments. They are very much appreciated.
THose house-elves are very handy! :)
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Yes,they can LOL thanks.
I liked this chapter very much. The interlude with the Gypsies gave them a chance to rest and learn things that might have taken them days of searching to uncover.
I'm glad that Raven kept Hermione from taking her revenge on the Death Eaters. Though they deserved it, Hermione would have been very sorry for it afterward.Nice work, and I'm looking forward to your next update.Beth
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Thanks Beth, I'm so glad you liked it. It was not my favorite chapter. I'm working on ch 28 so there's a lot more to come.
yikes, I hope she doesn't leave him again like that. good thing he had the quick sense to call Dobby. wonder why those Death Eaters were there.... thanks for updating!
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
I don't think she will do that again. I thought I'd answered that. They were in hiding....trying to stay out of Azkaban. War criminals. Sorry if it wasn't clear.
Thank you for reading and commenting.
I would be in a constant state of panic if I were Hermione. Talk about the stress of knowing her love, Raven, will soon melt back into Snape. Ugh! I worry.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
I would be too and I'm not sure I'd let him go through it. I'm worried too. Severus isn't a nice man, but will he be able to accept love and bigger question will Hermione learn to love him.
OMG another camping trip!! Thankfully this one is not nearly as grim. Im worried about their trip. It seems like such a needle in a haystack.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
They had a lot of camping trips on this adventure. There were lot of mapped out caves that Severus never had time to explore. He did leave them maps.
Oh, I'm scared for what the future will bring! Scared, but hopeful.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Be scared but hopeful, I know I am. :)
Your previous chapters have been no less visually interesting than this one :) I like so much tenderness between the characters; I wish Snape would be as tender, but, of course, with his (in)famous shade of sarcastic wit... Your description of places is so appealing! Please, keep writing!
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Thank you so much, I'm working on chapter 24 right now so there's much more to come. I think if we see Snape again Hermone will be persistant and who can turn their back on love forever :)
They are both so damaged. This is going to be so difficult.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
It is difficult for them, but I think Raven is learning to understand Severus through these tough times.
Very nice chapter, I found it quite enjoyable.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Thank you so much, I appreciate your review.
I like this story! Severus without memories could be a more sensitive man. It's a good idea.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Thank you so much. I'm gad you are enjoying it.
"She placed a bowel of oatmeal"I think you mean "bowl"! :) Great premise!
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Thank you! I'm suprised that got through all of those of us whoo beta'd this chapter. Glad you like my story.
Gorgeous chapter, I really enjoyed it! The memories are shocking but necessary I think.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Thank you so much, I'm glad yu enjoyed it. I appreciate your reviews very much.
How horrible that his mother would request that he kill his own father at the tender age of five. No wonder he joined the DEs. But if the abuse continued as he grew, he would have probably killed the man without his mother's urging. Your version of Tobias is truly bad to the core.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Thank you, thats what I was trying to do. I'm glad to have yoou reading and posting reviews they are much appreciated.
Nightmares for Hermione and bad memories for Raven/Severus as a child. Maybe he should forget "finding himself". You torture me with angst, G. Update soon, I'm begging.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
So sorry, remember I'm a romantic at heart so calm down and enjoy :)I'm trying to establlish what kind of child hoood Severus had that made him the monter that coould kill his father and become a deatheater. But inside we all know theres a heart of gold becasue of the sacrifices he made for Lily and Harry. Another chapters in the Queue,
Your story is really giving us the feel of Severus' background and going a long way to explain why, after being brought up trying to avoid the wrath of such a cruel, hateful and ignorant father, he became the person he was. As such is getting deeper and deeper and just better and better! :-)
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
Thank you so much, what kind words. I'm glad that you are enjoying the story so much.
I'm actually glad she had a nightmare so that he could comfort her, instead of Raven always being the one in need of Hermione's help. Here's hoping they have a plan in case they encounter any Inferi -- brrrr!! Thanks for updating.
Response from gersknightlady (Author of Raven)
I'm glad you liked that. It is good for Raven to be of some help to Hermione. Thanks for your comments :)
