I would like to kick Hermione mentally as well for telling Severus about Albus' death in such a callous manner.  What a nasty thing to do.  Thank goodness he didn't take her to task for it, and they did get to share in each other's comfort for a little while.  Now all she has to do is forget how delicious Severus looks fresh from the shower and everything will be just fine...not!  :D

Without all of his armor, Severus' emotions are on his face for all to see.  He is so different from the man she knew in school.  Now that they are in the house at  Spinner's End, hopefully the two of them will find some potions to heal his throat and a trigger for his memory.  Great chapter!  :D

The reaction Severus is having towards Hermione's kindness tells just how awful he has been treated.  Hugging the tattered paperbacks to his chest like treasures and wanting to comfort Hermione while she sleeps just endears Severus to you even more.  :D

Severus must have known on some level that Hermione would help him after he was attacked or he wouldn't have returned to her doorstep injured.  So, maybe he is beginning to trust her a little.  Helping Severus regain his dignity and memory will also help Hermione overcome her depression.  Great chapter!

This seems like such a big gamble for her to take.  Severus may be a hope for Harry, but Hermione still needs to deal with his memory and sanity loss.  He doesn't remember who she is let alone how to act in polite society.  Great chapter!  :D

Great beginning.  omgosh, so much devastation!  With Harry unresponsive and both Ron and her parents dead it's no wonder Hermione left all things magical behind.  Then to find Snape wondering the streets of Muggle London with amnesia - how bizarre!

wow, that was a surprise!  I was ready to yell at S&H to kill the critter with a knife.  perhaps the critter recognized Severus by his Mark?  I'm on pins and needles for the next chapter!  thank you for updating.

LOL.  Big stupid beast.  It's fun to have two different stories to read that are being updated regularly and by the same author.  I can't make up my mind which I like better this one or your other one.

“I’ll be dammed.”  That was a complete surprise!  Obviously the beast knows—and loves— Raven.  So does that mean that they needn't have run from him the first time they entered the cave?Is "Toothy" here one of Severus' own Enchantments?  Or was he Enchanted by Voldemort, but treated well by the Potions master... and remembered Severus' scent?  Hummmm... this is getting interestinger and interestinger!  This chapter scared the pants off me at the start, but then it became FUN!!!  I love it!You go, girl!  Beth

Ok I started this story today and this is as far as I have gotten, I am in tears now!  This is such a wonderful story, I am really enjoying it...“I don’t want to go alone,” he stated emphatically.     That one statement..Oh My Goodness...Bless his heart...That brought me to tears....I love this Severus...So vulnerable and loveable, like we all knew he could be, he was hiding behind a mask....I can't wait to read more..I'm Just fixing to start chapter 12....Well done, well done indeed!!

OK, the 'beast' weirded me out.  Why would it lick Severus like it was a puppy?  Very interesting if a bit scary chapter.

My heart was in my throat at the end there--and then the critter turns into an overgrown...what?  Puppy?  Kitten?  In any event, Raven/Severus may have just found himself a familiar... Where there's smoke, there's fire--this cave has to be important in some way, so at the very least there should be a clue if not the actual answer.  Looking forward to the next chapter!

I'll be damned too!  That was an exciting chapter with an odd ending.  I hope they can figure out what is going on without Raven's memories.  He evidently knows Sabertoothy.
