Age 59, I have been a Severus and Alan Rickman fan for a couple years. I post SS/HG stories.
I went to NY last week to see Seminar (Jan 4, 20012) It was wonderful.
Shades of Severus in his character and his house. I was priviledge to see Alan up close an personal after the play.

There will be a number of chapters dealing with Scorpious. Hope yu like the direction it takes. Oh and Severus and Hermione start to play....real soon.
I was pleased to see that Draco was on the same page as Severus, and equally glad that Severus is willing to give Hermione's methods a try. I don't actually know if I think it will work for them, or they will regret their decision. Time will tell, I guess.

Thank you, I update as quickly as I can. It's a long process to get the chapter from the beta send it in for final correction, make corrections and then have it validated. My beta does her bbest, she has a busy life as well.I'm just as excieted to see the next chapter in my box so that I can get it into the Queue,I'm so happy that you read this story and are enjoying it.
I was sorry to see that life (problems with Scorpius) had worn Draco out so much, but with his and Pansy's, permission perhaps Severus can reach the boy and help to turn him around.Albus must have the patience of Job to be able to handle Scoripus' unkind remarks about hating Potters. I do hope that the "rehabilitation effort for Scorpius Malfoy" will pay big dividends.Great chapter, Jeannie. Beth

I think life with what Happened to his Mother and Father as well as Scorpius has worn Draco out. I think he's very meek now and basically does what he's told. He seems to need pothers to tell him what to do. His failure to kill Dumbledore and his disallusionment with the whole Deathater thing has taken it's toll on him. He knows now that life he sought was a mistake and he has withdrawn into himself and just does what he needs to to survive. I don't write much about Draco in this story. We mostly deal with Scorpius.We will be working on him as the next chapters develop.Thanks Beth,Jeannie
I think telling Albus Severus about their marriage before they told anyone else was a very special thing to do. How long will Albus be able to keep from telling his father. 8^)I hope both of them will be able to past their pasts, and that the things that happened in the past will lose the power to hurt them. I hope they don't have too many problems because of things like Hermione's reaction to what Severus said about Scorpius.Now I'm off to the next wonderful chapter!Beth

Thank you, I think Severus is very fond of Albus. Albus represent's how much Harry actually grew to respect him. I think it touched him to his very soul. Finally he has some concreat evidence that what he sacrificed all thise years for Harry paid off.They will continue to grow and their problems of the past will distance themselve but they still have a lot of growing yet to do. The things Severus will share with Scorpius will desturbe him a great deal. No one want's to visit their terrible past.Jeannie
Wheeeeeeee! They're married. *grins* I think getting away for the weekend at Poppy's cottage was a brilliant idea, and I couldn't be happier for Severus and Hermione. Now what will everyone think when they get back to Hogwarts. What will Scorpius think about their marriage? I hope Hermione's and Albus' compliments to him on his talent in Potions will make him think about what his grandfather has told him about Severus and Hermione. I hope somewhere along the line he can begin to let go of all the twisted ideas Lucius had put in his head.Beth

Yep they got married. I think it was a spur of a moment thing and they had a chance to do it Muggle style and they just ran with it.They will begin to deal with Scorpius when they get back from this much needed weekend alone. Thanks for your review Beth.Jeannie

Wow, they've moved fast! I like how despite what's happened to her, Hermione is willing to give Scorpious another chance. I think she's had the time now to dwell on what's happened to him and see where he was lacking guidance and offering it to him in order for him to make amends and heal.Nice little holiday for the two of them. Looking forward to seeing everyone's reactions to their marriage when they return!

I think that Hermione praising Scorpius was a good move on her part, but I am afraid that rather than softening him up a bit, it is only going to make him wary that she has an ulterior motive and in turn he will cause more trouble. Hopefully Severus will get a chance to talk with Draco soon.I'm glad that they impulsively decided to get married. It will be hard to go back to Hogwarts after such a lovely vacation, and I am sure the staff will be shocked but happy. The skimpy bikini that he gave her made me laugh. Especially the fact that after she made it wearable, he noticed and gave her crap about enlarging it. Thank goodness Poppy had just the place for them to relax and unwind. I hope they continue to be blissfully happy for always!

Where are they, exactly? I don't know of any place in Great Britain where it is warm enough for a bikini on the beach during the Fall and/or Winter. Good chapter despite that. ^_^

Loved the chapter,praise from Hermione confused Scorpious for sure maybe now he will realize his Grandfather was wrong and start thinking for himself. Love the description of the little cottege Poppy let them use and the wedding was very beautiful. And let me say that "honeymoon" scene was steamy :) I really liked the striptease she gave him. Can't wait to see what the reaction from everyone else when they come back as Mr. and Mrs. Snape.

Thank you Marty, I appreciate your comments. Apparently i messed up for a few readers. But I'm not from England so my chapters are marked written in the US version. I should have checked out the facts better from those who live there. Maybe I need to have them sent to USA West coast for the beach-house and wedding.I know they let yoou adjust things occassinally.I'm glad you like the wedding and beach activities LOL.I hpe to have a new chapter to add to the Queue real soon. Wow! I really iike that Harry loves Severus like Sirius and it's wonderful for Severus to know that. Another, Wow! How could no one notice that Molly and Arthur are aging unnaturually? They must see other members of the Order who are the same age as their parents. Are all the other Order members aging this fast? Poppy isn't. Flitwick isn't. Have those kids been blinded to it magically or are they just so self absorbed that they don't see anything but their own lives? Even Lucius isn't aging this fast. What would everyone do without Severus Snape? This story reminds me of "It's a Wonderful Life". I wonder if Severus can see how many people wouldn't be alive or thriving if he hadn't been born. It does seem that he has had an unfair share of the pain though. Hopefully this story balances his extreme pain with extreme joy in his later life, where as the mediocre and mundain people don't suffer much, but neither do they experience great joy. I wish that was true. But if I've learned anything it's that life isn't fair. My husband and I have been married 33 years this month. We tried to do everything right with our kids and nothing turned out the way we thought it would and now our health is being affected by the years of stress from the choices our children have made. I wish magic was real and I could fix a few things. Nuf of that! I really liked this chapter very much.

Well I thought this part ofthe story was the weakest of all the story sections this piece went through. I agree it has a lot of faults. But I was assured that it was good enough to leave in. I have friends who read my stuff and I don;t think they have ever found anything wrong with my work :). They are very kind. I guess many families go through the same thing you try to raise them as you think best and kids make the wrng choices. Most of my sisters kids are grown with children of their own now. So far so good. There always stress. I never married. I live alone now thta Mothers gone. I like it. But yes, if magic was real there are things I would fix too :).I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter.

I just wondered what's up with Molly and Arthur's kids not noticing something was not right with their parents? Is it really just as simple as they just didn't notice? That sounds weird. Being pure bloods they should know what the normal aging rate for wizards and witches is.

Wooooo Hoooooo for sex on a moonlit beach. I've always wanted to do that outside but my hubby never felt that adventurous. Now we havn't had sex in over a decade. He has depression, high blood pressure and diabetes. That equals no labido. Poor me. LOL Is that TMI? My secret confession is that the section where Hermione asked Severus what he would have done if she had sat on his lap during her seventh year and he said he would have held on for dear life ispired me to write a short story. I had a sense of intense emotion attached to that sceen.

Don't great minds think alike? I could not have written it better myself. Lucky Scorpius! Severus needs more supper sex for his trouble. I wonder if he has any fantasies? Maybe she should try a little bit of ligelimens. Can Hermione do that or is it only triggered by Severus? I'm up for some more role playing. A little of this

Giving up being a hater isn't betraying his grandfather is it? Will he be considered betraying Lucius just because he stops being an evil git? Have they told him he can still love his grandfather even if he doesn't agree with him? I don't see why he must choose either them or him. He can choose the side of light and love his grandfather anyway. Maybe they haven't really made that clear to him.

I think once Scorpius stews in that memory for a while he won't be quite so defiant. Maybe some memories of Lucius being humiliated and having his wand broken during Voldemort's tenure at Malfoy Manor would be useful. I wonder if his dad, Draco, would like to share some of his memories of that time. 
If this doesn't work, I think Scorpius can be officially declared a sociopath and rehabilitated from the inside of his brain out. Hermione owes Severus some uber amazing sex for all of this pain she's volunteered him for.

Scorpius is learning and his resolve is fading. He's a child he needs a firm hand but a loving one and even though Severus is probably the most unlikely candidate he can do it. It's good for both of them.He will get his rewards. :)
