I'm so happy that Poppy had this spell that would allow Severus to become visible.  Minerva's reaction to seeing and touching him was spot on... I'd have to have taken a nap, too.  LOL!Now I'm wondering what will happen as a result of his protecting Hermione and the nearby students from the exploding cauldron.  Will they be able to see his form since he will be covered with the potion gone awry?  Everything that happens seems to affect the spell to a greater or lesser degree, so I can't help but think this might, too.  Perhaps the next layer of the spell will be gone.Thanks for such a great chapter, and I love the title manip.  Well done!Beth

Oh no!  Not a cauldron explosion!  At the very least he's now visible from the gunk all over him... though who knows what the screwed-up potion has done.  Oh, the suspense!

Wow, what a nice cliffhanger!  I've just caught up on this story and have loved every word.  What a refreshing take on saving Severus from his DH fate.  I can't wait to see how this cauldron accident plays out.  I hope this action releases another layer of the curse/spell.  I'm starting to believe whatever this stasis is has Dumbledore's finger prints all over it.  Or maybe I'm just anxious to read a story where Dumbles actually cared what happened to his pawn! Keep up the great work.

What a chapter!  Poor Minerva seemed as if she nearly had a heart attack.  Interesting cliffie with him rescuing Hermione and the student from the wonderous exploding cauldron.  Looking forward to seeing what that does to him if it doesn't remove a layer of the spell.

I can just see it now...rumors start to abound about how the ghost of Professor Snape protects the students from harm in his old Potions classroom!  It seems as though traumatic events that he is involved in undo the layers of the spell holding him; could it be that facing this cauldron explosion will peel away one of these layers?So glad that Minerva's "in the know" now, and I'm excited to read the next chapter to find out what happens next!

Oh No! Now we find out if he can be harmed by something physical. He can feel, but his clothes can't come off. Perhaps his clothes will protect him from harm. I hope so. He's already suffered so much.

Well done, Jeannie!  I was tickled pink when they visited Poppy and she knew he was there.The diagnostic spell she performed has given them more information on the "curse" and they know that it may not be dark, but was cast by someone who wanted to protect Severus from the ill will of the Dark Lord.  Splendid.I can't wait to find out Minerva reacts to finding out that her friend is back... even if she can't see him right now. With this shroud spell that Poppy has taught Hermione, I suspect that they will get to have some "face time" in the near future.It'll be interesting to see how they manage to work through the remaining barriers.  Good show!Beth
