Age 59, I have been a Severus and Alan Rickman fan for a couple years. I post SS/HG stories.
I went to NY last week to see Seminar (Jan 4, 20012) It was wonderful.
Shades of Severus in his character and his house. I was priviledge to see Alan up close an personal after the play.

I wanted Harry to be mature in this and to appreciate Severus for what he did for him. I hate the whinny or hateful Harrys some people write. We all know he grew up when he named his child after Severus. Another part of the story I'm not crazy about. My stories are seldom planned I just start with an idea and the words roll out in my head sometimes faster than I can type. Wish I could do that with an original idea.

Loved the weekend away, Poppy is a good mum. Albus and Scorpius have a job ahead of them, but I think thay can do it {with a little help from Severus and Hermione}

I'm glad you are enjoying their little interludes. Poppy is a good mum and it was fun to flesh her out. I think the boys will do well and really hermione and Severus arn't allowed to help much LOL

Yes, Severus had to share some hard stuff, stuff he never wanted to relive. But he believes the child is worth it. I' glad he did as well.

Poor Draco, he wasn't that much older than Scorpius when that happned. { I have a soft spot for Draco,maybe because we have the same birth date, a few years, OK, decades apart}

The contest is a wonderful idea,Scorpius needs to get to know how to interact, with kids his own age. He was alone with a bitter old man for far to long.

I like the realistic touches to your story. They're there subtly in actions and gestures. Like Hermione's reactions to Lucius, but persevering because he means so much to Severus.Looking forward to seeing the bonding and Severus's reaction to Lucius being present!

Thank you. I'm trying not to rush it. It all needs time to works its way out. A ot has happened to them sicne the Bubble.I know Lucius in the Movies didn't have much of a redeeming character but in the end he was broken and maybe he changed. I'm all for giving people a second chance. Thats what forgiveness does.
Nice chapter for progression and understanding. I like how Severus is being more proactive in trying to change himself and that it's not just happening overnight. Also, that Hermione has her emotional time makes this very realistic and natural. Who wouldn't buckle under a strain like this? Yet, they're determined to persevere and carry on.Off to read the next chapter. Well done!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Yes, I think the walls breaking down and Severus really doesn't realise it, but then again Severus was always capable off giving love he just didnt know it.They are going forward with their lives. Things are about to happen.
I do hope that this huge thing Hermione is doing for Severus is successful in bringing down the walls that remain. I also hope that he is happy about the choice she made. She is a brave little thing, going to ask Lucius to attend the bonding. I hope it all goes well. They need a bit of happiness at the moment.

Yes, they are real and it gets a bit gritty but to too graphic. We don;t want to scar the child. Deffinately not rose colord.

Yes, I'm glad he does too. He seemed quite put out with him in HBP. Every ones taking a chnace but don't kids deserve a second chance and people to really care about them.

All right, I'm breathing, for now. I will move on to the next chapter now. Just one thing; when you say Filch, do you Argus Filch caretaker? or is your Filch the charms Master? I'm a little confused.

Filch has always been the care taker. I think if I remember Severus does do some security type work with him for a time. I wouldn't have made him clean the castle.

Someone should have told Albus, that"The road to HELL, is paved with good INTENTIONS". The entire Malfoy family, needs to take responsibility for Scorpius, Luicus may have had a bad influence on the boy, but thay all allowed it.It isn't as if thay haven't seen the results, of his actions in the past.

Yes, Severus does as he feels its only been days or weeks since he "died". All of his senses are still honed.
