Age 59, I have been a Severus and Alan Rickman fan for a couple years. I post SS/HG stories.
I went to NY last week to see Seminar (Jan 4, 20012) It was wonderful.
Shades of Severus in his character and his house. I was priviledge to see Alan up close an personal after the play.

I'm so tickled at the way this spell is changing in response to their emotions. Her needs seem to spark a change in the limits that constrain him, and I loved it when he held her and could feel her just as well as she could feel him.Lovely chapter, and I'm looking forwad to the next update.Hugs, Beth

Wow, I've only read Ch1 and I know I've got like 4 more, but I just wanted to say that this is great. I don't know where this is going, whether Snape is eventually going to be alive (yay) or it'll be one of this what-could-have-been stories, but I love it all the same, so far. Wait, so his clothes can't come off? A very odd kind of spell indeed! It must be strange to kiss an invisible person- even stranger to have sex with one, eventually. Though it's probably good that he's gone corporeal before he thought about doing more than kissing... *lemony thoughts*

LOL...it was an odd idea but it will play out as the stories told. Yes making love to an invisable man might be odd but if you close your eeys is doesn't watter as long as he's solid to the touch LOLThanks for your review.

Awesome! It's wonderful that the kiss Hermione had felt was warm. That means that when that when Severus had moved that toy horse he had changed something about his existence. I wonder if the effort to use his magic had caused his physical self to shift a bit from where he has been back to where he had lived all his life.I'm glad that Hermione has confided in Poppy, too. I hope the two of them, working with Severus, can bring him all the way back. Now that would be great!!!Thanks for this very entertaining chapter.Beth

Beth thank you for your kind words and review. I'm not sure he changed anything he just figured out his magical power was able to get through the barrier if he concentrated enough. Poppy is very important in this story. She cared for severus a lot.I hope you will continue to enjoyt he story as it developes. I has taken on a life of its own :)Jeannie

Very interesting start! I really am a fan of the concept, although my mind is busy as a bee trying to figure out what exactly happened to Severus. I suppose I will just have to be patient.

Thank you, I think the beginning goes so much faster than I realised. It's been a long time sicne I worked on these first chapter. The story is now 42 chapter long so far.
Hermione felt the touch of warm lips on hers, but Severus only thought about kissing her. He didn't seem to feel anything. That seems odd to me. But, then again, he only thought hard about moving the little horse. He didn't actually feel the thing in his hand. So I guess it's the same thing. Too bad he can't feel his own lips against hers.I hope they can work this out. I'm sure you'll find a way. :)

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I'm notso sure people like this story. I really hadn't intented Severus to be so un-Severus like. It has been months since I wrote the first part and I didn't rememberthings chnaged to rapidly at the beginning.
Great plot! I hope she helps him come back and take up his rightful position as headmaster.

Thank you, I'm so glad your happy about the chapter. This was originally supposed to be maybe a dozen chapters. Its now going into 42 chapter. It continued, like life does, one thing leads to another and time passes :) Life leads from one thing to the next stage of life. cH 3 is in the Queue.

Interesting premis for a story. The first chapter got me all choked up, the way Hermione pined over him as she made herself at home in his private rooms.He already feels possive of her. I see a great love story in the making.

Thank you, I hope people don't think this all too emotional. I find my Severus is much chnaged after his 15 years of solitude. He trys to be tough at times but he's really quite vunerbale.I love writing it and hope you will enjoy reading it as it unfolds.

Oooh, she's popped his bubble - does this mean he has more than the 15 foot radius from his wand?Also, does that now mean he's no longer excluded from her "bathroom time" since he's obviously not as averse to her as he's tried to make it seem?Looking forward to the next chapter!

Brilliant update, I am trilled to see that they now can talk with eachother. Is it only Hermione, as the keeper of his wand, that can hear him? (I am not forgetting Sybil, but she is truly seeing him, so I guess she aint that much of a fake as most people like her to be?)Severus being able to feel the floor and sitting in a chair, makes him something else than a ghost or a spirit, doesn't it?I am very much looking forward to read more.
