Reviews for Hilltop Cottage
Oh, that was a delicious revenge. Hee. A little yappy bitch. And I'm so glad it worked on Minerva.

Thanks so much for reviewing - I'm pleased you liked it.
Right, right! But whatever happened to Alicia??

I certainly will. Of course I was just joking. It was an excellent idea to include this chapter before letting us know about Alicia. Else, the effect would have been anticlimatic...
Very sweet update, well worth the wait (ok, it was a short wait). I am so glad they reached an understanding even if it was unspoken. I can't wait till Minerva is cured and Severus can spend more time with his family. When will we find out what happened to Miss Maines?

Alicia gets her in the next chapter, and all the jigsaw bits get put back together!
What a nice chapter. They were totally due for some happiness. By the way, others might be fooled, but I noticed your distraction tactic. Throw in a Severus who is sweet, thoughtful, funny, and can apparate his woman straight to bed without blinking an eye, and we might not notice that we still didn't find out what happened with Alicia. Nice try. Still, it was an enjoyable chapter, so I'll let it slide this one time :)

You have to eat your greens before you get your cookie! Alicia's just desserts in the next chapter!
Sigh. I certainly hope she isn't going to misunderstand again. I decided to stick it out here. I guess I could go over to AFF, but I haven't.
I think Severus can handle himself, but I guess we'll have to see about that. Perhaps Hermione should fear for Alicia instead of Severus. LOL
Interesting chapter. I can easily imagine SS going for a little revenge. Hermione would do well to patent/publish any ideas she discussed with Alicia ammediately, lest the latter beat her by publishing them herself.
I think Severus knows exactly what he's doing, having so many years as a spy under his belt. But, I do understand Hermione's unease. There's still so much insecurity where she's concerned because of all that's happened in the past. I just hope she doesn't reveal the plan before Severus can pay Alicia back.
(sigh....)Pulling myself up from the puddle I've melted into on the floor to tell you....BRAVO !!!(and I forgive you for every horrible, awful, unbearably painful moment you've put them through to get here). And now... (rubbing hands together eagerly)....Miss Maines...."ve haf vays to make you talk..." bwahahahaha....

lol... I'm very glad you enjoyed that!
I'm glad they spoke, and figured her out. Hermione is too trusting.
Yay for new chapter and lemons! So glad things are looking up for our couple... and god help Alica when Severus (or maybe Hermione) gets ahold of her LOL
Well good thing Severus' sharp mind was working. And Merlin help Alicia!
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
Merlin is on Hermione's side actually. I think he was distantly related to Bertram Mellor on his mother's side.
Lucky thing you can't see me. I'm totally doing the happy dance. It is great that this resolved quickly as they have had about as much angst and drama as two people should ever have. Throughout the story they've both made bad choices, and said and done regretful things, but I think the fault lies more heavily with Severus. And for that reason, I think it is important that he was the one to come to her and resolve the matter. It is also nice that not only does he finally tell her he loves her, but she reads it in the letter that was written long ago, so there is no doubt in her mind that he is sincere, and not just saying it in a moment of desperation. I look forward to whatever Alicia has coming her way! And while I don't want to rain on their parade, before they get too deep into sappy lovebird mode, you might remind them that Minerva is waiting. If they make her wait any longer, when she is cured the claws may come out in their direction... literally :)

Are you wearing tassles??Don't ask questions of things that you don't REALLY want the answer to, LOLI am always a loyal fan to a really good story. I hope that you have something else in the works. If not, what the hell are you waiting for? Hop to it woman!
I have a feeling that Miss Maines is in for a nasty surprise.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
lmao... it's amazing, in my opinion!
Oh Thank Merlin they finally got that straightened out!Love that love scene! I can hardly wait to see what they do to Miss Maines.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
It's priceless. Well, I think so!
That worked out better than I expected. It goes to show that Severus and Hermione finally learned how to talk to each other about things that are happening. I can't wait to see what they do to Alicia.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
Well, they can't survive if they don't learn by their past mistakes. Thanks for reading :D
I am so glad that they talked. Only a witch to save and a wedding to organize. Piece of cake.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
Totally - that's all!
Yay! They smartened up! I suppose it would be too much to ask that Hermione go all medievil on Alicia? Bitch needs an ass-whuppin'.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
It's better even than that, I think! Thanks for reading x
Yay! Severus saives the day. So glad he said "I love you" over and over and over again. Finally!
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
It's the eternal balm I think - they'll be fine now.
Pity party, Snape? You were the one that invaded her mind and found her secret. Move on. You aren't alone anymore. Don't screw this up by making everything about you. She hasn't said "I love you" for a week? Maybe you should give it a try. What does she get out of this relationship besides great sex? Do you ask her about her projects and listen to her tell you about her day? Try it.
He's damned lucky he decided to go to that event. He doesn't think he minds being alone but he isn't really alone. He has Hermione and I don't think he could ever to back to the life he had before. I wonder if Hermione is thinking that she may grow past him and move on.
Yes he can. He just doesn't want to. However, he is an adult and is allowed to do what he likes. He's earned the right not to do what he doesn't want to. But, he doesn't live in a box anymore. Along with the perks of being in a relationship comes the responsibility of the same. She will forgive him if he doesn't go, but she will never forget that he didn't. It will affect their harmony. She will still love him but she will know that there are some things she loves that she can't count on him to be there for her in. Depending on how far Hermione's professional life takes her, it may just be one sad note in an otherwise fairly nice relationship or it could become something she and he will have to make hard choices about. He never tells her he loves her is on the same side of the list with, he won't attend the biggest night of her life even though she has given up her best friends to be with him. He has never asked her to give up her friends, I know. But what happens when that side of the list gets longer than the: he gives me great sex, he understands how I feel about the war, he likes to read as much as I do, side. Sex isn't everything and she is getting over the war. That leaves, we eat together, read together, sleep together and go to the bar down the street once in a while. Is that enough? The scales could tip in his direction if he tells her he loves her and can't live without her, but the scales will not be balanced. Regarding children; Hermione doesn't need children. They are over rated and take over your life. Unless Severus turns out to love being the house husband, Hermione would have to give up part of her career to be a mum. Having kids together would not help this relationship. It would just add more strings to untangle if Severus decides he loves his reclusive life style more than he loves Hermione and if Hermione can't be happy living that way. How many women just live unhappily until they die of old age never having had the life they had hoped for because the husband they had chosen had held them back. Is Hermione the kind of woman to do so. Will she feel that Severus is holding her back? Is he worth it to her? Is she worth it to him that he would bend a little?
Hermione was clearly getting ready for the possiblility of sex tonight with the sleek easy and the body cream, etc. I'm sure the know it all of Griffindore cast a contraceptive charm while she was waiting for the git who didn't show up.
