She's going to his house, right? And she's not going to jump to conclusions and run off in a huff, right?I can't blame Severus for feeling horrible, but he needs to give that woman some credit!

mmm, I agree, but he doesn't trust easily does he? He's feeling hurt in the extreme - it's irrational, but it's how he feels!
I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this. Love the slow build up in their relationship. Update soon!
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
Thank you very much, that's a nice thing to say! I'm away from home at the moment so an update won't be happening soon, sadly - hopefully in the next week or so, though. Hope you'll hang around for that?
I can't say how glad I am that they sorted out this misunderstanding. His assult in her mind - well, at a assult exactly, she allowed him to look, but he really bared her open to him, didn't he? There is no denial on her part now and he has yet to confirm his own wants and feelings. Maybe a good helathy romp will help him open up to her?
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
Well, goodness knows a good healthy romp is way overdue on his part! He's very repressed on so many levels, so perhaps if he's not such a coiled spring, he can relaxed and start to trust her a bit more too! Thanks for reading x
Oh, thank goodness! I am very intrigued indeed! Let's see what happens after they ascend the staircase... The Legilimency scene was beautifully written; such wonderful descriptions!

Thanks so much - there won't be an update for a while but it's worth the wait, I think!
Neelix, happy new year!!!! And Hermione and Severus do not worry. Neelix will make all the lovin extra special for both of you (right Neelix)!
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
Happy New Year to you too... and yes, I think they have a good time... lol!
What a lovely gift for the New Year! Of course it would be too much to ask they actually go through it. Unless you are feeling very kind and generous *offers chocolate in case it helps, plus puppy dog eyes*

Bless you - if I could I would, but I'm away at the moment and there won't be another update for a while :( I promise the next chapter will be worth it.
Oh, this ended MUCH better than the last chapter! (meaning for Severus and Hermione, not your writing---your writing is fantastic here AND there, as always). Hoping your New Year's Resolution is a chapter every....day? (ok, I won't be selfish). Week? hmmm....(grin)
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
lol... If only I could. In fact my new years resolution is to bite the bullet and actually learn to write properly... courses and everything! Scary! There won't be an update for a while because I'm away from home, so please hang in there!
Well of course she did. That went far smoother than I thought it would I'm glad, because the last chapter frightened me.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
Don't be scared. Just be prepared that this relationship has more than a few kinks to iron out x
Ok, this went just like I thought it ought to. A little angst, but not too much. A little ass chewing, but not too much. It's nice that she is able to read him a bit these days. She can assess his mood so she can respond appropriately. Now they are headed off to the bedroom, and I don't know whether to do the happy dance, or hide under the desk so I'm not hit by the fallout when things go badly. And I'm sure you won't tell me which to do, evil author. I'll be patiently waiting for the next chapter... patience is one of my new years resolutions for 2010. What? It's not yet midnight? Well in that case, GIVE ME THE NEXT CHAPTER NOW, DAMMIT ;)
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
lol... I'm apologising now and humbly suggest you invest in a sturdy Anderson Shelter. I'm also apologising because I'm away from home and won't have an update ready for at least another week or so, so please forgive the wait! Thanks for revieiwing!
