Reviews for Hilltop Cottage
Poor Hermione. Harry is not being fair. I know he thinks he's keeping her from being hurt, but he's not being a real friend.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
No, you're right, he's not - but he doesn't see that, and he's reacting to his own situation rather than considering Hermione's.

Yay! A proper fight. :D
Is there any good chinese food in the British Isles?
Author's Response: Our local Chinese is pretty good, but then I am comparing like for like so who knows! Depends what your benchmark is!
KingPhilipsWench's response: Unforutunately, my benchmark is Xian, in Shaanxi province. So... I'm screwed that way.
Don't let Harry get to you, Herms! :)

Hi... I won't respond to each review you left me, if that's ok! My PC is playing up and it's taken me an age to get this far!I'm so glad you're reading and enjoying the story, and your little comments did make me smile!
LOL. He's worried about Minerva! :)
Nicely awkward and realistic. :)
Just as well she gets her own way, 'cause he is hopeless! ;)
Talk about making assumptions! :)
Legumes. LOL Peas may I see inside your head? I've bean curious as to what you are thinking. :)
That was a sweet gesture. :)
That revealed a lot. :)
A date. Scary thought! ;)
We have a saying here that means approximately that "Only the truth can hurt feelings". Hermione's angry because she fears Harry's word might prove to be true. She's even conscious of it. And knowing Severus one can only fear. I do hope that he is wrong, though. After all Severus can be a perfect partner if only he would trust himself and accept that he deserves happiness.

You see, this is the problem isn't it? Harry's words may not be what she wants to hear at all, but it doesn't mean they're not close to the mark, either.
That was really a cruel way to put it. Why do 'friends' think they can stomp all over you in the name of friendship?
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
I know... it's not fair, but some friends do think they have the right to point out your failing and direct your life. Anything uncomfortable for them cannot be right, can it?
‘So tell me,’ Hermione said quietly, holding Harry’s gaze. ‘Is this because I didn’t tell you my plans and that you have been made a liar? Or is it because of Severus?’Ouch. Personally, I'd say it's a bit of both, but most especially because of Severus. It's all rather ironic, because Harry seemed perfectly fine with basically ignoring Hermione as long as she stayed buried in her books and research like a good little witch. But now that the Daily Prophet has decided to drag her out into the spotlight, Harry seems to have decided it's his duty to drag her right back to her lonely, pathetic life because that's where he feels she properly belongs. Some friend. Hopefully, Harry will drag his head back out of his arse and realize that he's acting like a complete selfish prat. To put it gently. But if Harry wants to keep his danglies intact, I'd say he needs to do some serious soul-searching and follow it up with a sincere apology. I'm sure several pounds of high-quality chocolate wouldn't go amiss either. :)

He's always quick to judge, particularly when people don't act in the way he expects them to.
Well I for one am glad to see them branching out a bit in the bedroom. If they'd like to share any future encounters with us, you know, just to make sure they are doing things right, that would be acceptable ;)I suppose Harry really does have good intentions, caring about his friend and all, but really, a howler? He has to see things from her perspective. She really does need someone who understands how she feels. I do appreciate that he is expressing his concerns, I just hope he isn't planting seeds of doubt along the way.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
This is the worry, really, because she does actually value his opinion and I do think she will listen to what he has to say...
Wow, what an excellent update. Can't wait for more.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
Thanks - they're in the queue!
Ah, who cares what Harry or Minerva say? I don't! I do care about his feelings for her and amazement in her love for him. Now that's hot!
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
ahhh, thanks! I think he is amazed by it, and probably is still waiting for the other shoe to fall!
Well, that went better than I thought! But I don't know how Minerva will be, time for the big guns :)I love the story, update soon.

. It's a rocky road ahead!
boy, harry does have some cheek! great update. thanks and mucho smoochies
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
He really does, but he comes good in the end, in a major way actually! Thanks for reading x
Minerva probably will kill him. Or be happy, one or the other.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
I think she'd be happy, after pursing her lips and tutting a bit!
First, Severus gets points for actually considering how it would look to Hermione, if he had transfigured a bed in his lab. I am pleased that neither was too disturbed by the newspaper as well. And I find it amusing that he had felt earlier in the chapter that he could take on Voldemort alone, but at the end he is frightened of Minerva. Smart man.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
lmao... Minerva VS Voldemort - no contest, the witch is way scarier!
Stupid Prophet! Poor Severus. I'm glad he got over his anger and that they are officially together.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Cottage)
Yep, it's out there, no denying it now!
thank goodness that misunderstanding didn't last long! thanks and smoochies!
