Age 59, I have been a Severus and Alan Rickman fan for a couple years. I post SS/HG stories.
I went to NY last week to see Seminar (Jan 4, 20012) It was wonderful.
Shades of Severus in his character and his house. I was priviledge to see Alan up close an personal after the play.

Glad to see the boys aren't too bothered that they didn't win. Then again, both of them come from pretty affluent families, so weren't in need of those scholarships anyway. Parkinsons is a horrible disease to be around.The regaining intimacy between the Hermione and Severus is beautifully done in how gently you're delivering it through them. Well done!Looking forward to seeing the wall come down once and for all and to what they owe the final push to!

My mother suffered through Parkinsons, diabetis and cancer. It was horrible. The parkinsons for 15 years. I would love to see a cure.I'm glad you like the intimacy. I want them to gradually come together again. I hope the walls down soon too, sometimes these ideas happen and I reluctantly take that turn and let the story write itself. I like Happy stories but I guess occassionally a bit of angst adds to the story.Thanks for your review
Glad to see Hermione's patience is paying off. The cracks are there, now for the final (?) push!Off to see who's won and if Al & Scorpius' potion is the impetus they need!

I hope we get there soon, this was not my favorite part of the story either, but sometimes they write themselves LOL. I think 3-4 chpaters more ???Thank you so much.
I can see why the boys didn't win, but I'm glad Severus is starting to get closer to breaking down that wall.

Parkinsons is near and dear to my heart my mother lived with it for 15 years. A cure would be a miracle for those who suffer. I like that they did this all for Severus.Thank you, yes he's getting closer.
This must be so difficult for Hermione to have to put off her bonding, be full of pregnancy hormones, deal with the potions contest on top of full time teaching, all without Severus. Yes, he's there, but he isn't really there. I think it would be worse if she didn't have it on Poppy's word that he will get better. Hopefully she can see that her efforts are paying off and that will fortify her for now. Can't wait to see how the contest plays out.

I think because of the oregnancy and all she's juts a bundle of self doubt and afraid things won't work. She's jumping to the wrong conclusions and poor Severus is just trying to get by minute by minute.Thank you so much I hope to have the new chapter on line in the next week. It's in the Queue.
I have finally reach chapter 44. I am sorry not to have reviewed while I tried to catch up. The story is riveting, and I just could not stop reading. I am impationtly waiting for the next chapter.

This was an excellent chapter! Your description of Severus in the memory; the way he felt dirty being in that atmosphere again was great. I actually felt like I wanted to wrinkle my nose up in disdain with him. And to imagine that he had to return to that each time he was called, while he was a spy. And then Rowling killed him.

Thank you. I would just think being in Voldys presence would be the worst possible place to be. He did supper terribly and your right he deserves so much more than death at the end. I really love fan fic. we can imagine any number of wonderful endings for him. Many time the writers are bertter than the original....'I thanks you for all the reviews and your encouraging kind comments.
It is nice to see characters like Grimmley who don't fawn all over Severus, but yet hold him in high regards as a war-hero; one who can be trusted. It was certainly lucky for Lucius and the Weasley's sake that he was on duty. I hope there is still time to save them!

Yes... the answer to salvation for Weasley's.Has Lucius had a change of heart? Has his time in prison, and the subsequent mercy shone to him by Severus changed him?Hermione & Severus are great together. You have written them wonderfully.Thank you for sharing~

I think e will see some changes in Lucius. Severus willingness to help him has made him see his friend differently. He's suffered a lot there and is quite broken.I'm so glad you like this Severus and Hermione. I love writting them. They just mesh so well together.Thank you for the review.
ew! It sounds like an accelerated version of the spell was used on Bellatrix. Looks like it's just the break they've been looking for!

I think it just may be. I really hope to get the next chapter soon from my beta. I wish there was a way to do this faster. I'd say this story has been posting over a year now...through completely written long ago it's still got a number of chapters to go. It had 55-56 I think.
Okay, I would say that the Weasleys are on the mend; however, I don't know if Severus is going to find much support from Hermione re his plan to fight for prisoner conditions. That could prove to be a huge obstacle. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Yes, with the anwers it will help the Weasleys recover. We will have to see how Hermione reacts to Severus needing to help Lucius live a tolerable life.

Thank you, I'm not sure thats Severus or Lucius reasons for what they do. Its a good cover story to tell others.I think Severus wants to help his friend through kindness but he not sure how Hermione will really take it all.Thank you for leaving a review.
Interesting foreshadowing of Hermione's reaction to Severus' plans to improve living conditions at Azkaban. He is perfectly right that it is the kind of thing her heart would agree to, even if she's too close to the situation right now to listen to hear heart.

A small victory, but a victory no less. YAY! They have held Molly & Arthur's demise at bay...for now.Albus & Scorpius make an excellent team.This is such a fine piece, and wth every chapter I grow more drawn into the story. Hermione's right. If anyone has the ability to analyze spells and create new ones, it's Severus. I only hope he can figure out the end of it before time runs out for Molly and Arthur.

Oh goodness the drama! I love this story and it's one of my favorites of all SS/HG. I can't wait to see what happens with Lucius again and eventually the wizard binding. Please don't make us wait so long for the next update :)

Hooray! The boys save the day ... for now. I hope they will be able to interpret the rest of the spell Hermione found. It was hard enough for Severus going to Azkaban the first time. Now knowing what he is going in to, it might be that much harder. But maybe he will find that Lucius has started to change already. Time will tell I guess ...

Yes, they did for now. It gives them more time. They will be working hard for an answer. Yes it is hard for him. Because Lucius is part of his life that he wants to put behind him. And I think now he feels bad that he didn try to help Lucius before this. Before their friendship was so damaged. Thank you for your two great reviews. I hope to have more soon.
