I really like the dinner scene.  They were a bit clumsy and that feels appropriate. they were snogging like a pair of teenagers at the Yule Ball. Love it!  No more description needed here.  We all know exactly how that is.As for the ending, well, last chapter I asked you to be nice to them and you said no can do.  So I went into this with the mindset that it wouldn't be wine and roses.  I was actually afraid that Mike the Creep was going to do something bad to her, so when the actual cliff hanger came, I was a bit relieved.  Funny how that works.  But that still doesn't let you off the hook in terms of getting the next chapter up quickly :)

GAH!!! NO!!! Damn Mike the Creep!!  Oh, poor, poor Severus!! That really was a damn evil cliff-hanger.  I really, really hope Severus will at least listen to Hermione when she gets back so that she can explain.  However, I fear, his defences might be iron clad by the time she returns in the evening and she will have no idea what it is that she has done wrong to hurt him.  A very good chapter, but gosh, evil at the same time.  *on tenderhooks for the next chapter...* xXx

I'm sure Severus is really regretting the night before.  And I'm figuring Hermione just wanted to surprise him or something.  Sigh.

Loved this chapter.  Her confession and his reaction were so telling.  His thoughts as he shopped were cute and he still isn't acknowledging his attraction for her.

this is *really* cute.  i like this severus a LOT.  and that's saying something, as i love all severus', but this one is a particular brand of endearing :)

OOOH, you made me reminisce about the tingly excitement that happens in the early stages of a really good relationship.  I'm really happy about the garden scene.  It just may be a catalyst for bigger and better things.  Very anxious to see what is in store for them.  Go easy on them, will ya?
