Well, RL has to take priority every now and then.  Welcome back.  I'm so glad that things went as smoothly as they did.  I think you did a nice job writing this scene so that it was believeable to the fact that they don't have a lot of collective experience, but yet didn't feel awkward.  If they keep practicing, they will get even better ;)  Thanks for the update!

I've waited so long for this chapter, and you didn't disappoint. It was very steamy. I am looking forward to more, I want to see what their next obstacle will be in their relationship. I assume it will become public knowledge soon that they are together. I cannot wait to see how they react.And the last line...does he love her or does he not know how to express himself? I'm sure you'll answer all that as the story progresses.

Can I please just give Severus a hug?  Sure, I would end up looking at the business end of his wand should I try (especially at the moment), but, gah, way to pull on my heart strings!  I just hope they can sort this all out, and quickly!  Hermione is going to need to pretty tough though to get through to him cos I have a feeling he is going to be beyond furious when she gets there. Well at least she has the sense to do something.  I mean, she is going to find him, right?  I hope she gives him hell for  being such a complete idiot.  But she also ought to give him a small break.  He is kind of inept at these things.  It is just going to take practice and some serious  boosting of his self esteem.  But she is a go-getter, and if she wants him, she'll have him.  Even if the chase is full of pitfalls.

Oh what a horrible place to stop this chapter!  I was hoping for her to confront him NOW.....and now I have to wait till next chappie (sulks).Please make the next one twice as long for us, to reward us all for patiently waiting?

Well, she had a nice day getting prepared for her evening - too bad it was all for naught. How was she to know he's brooding over a miscommunitaction. Poor Severus, it's not at all what he thinks and is miserable for it. I hope I know where Hermione is going, cuz that will be one hell of a chapter if I'm right.
