It's a great chapter. I really like your Snape, but sometimes I find it rather hard to read about him as a mixture of a wounded animal and a little child. It's so sweet and sad at the same time.

OMG, you must have a Time Turner!!  There's no other way you can do all that work on Az's archive AND write a new chapter.  I'm impressed!  This chapter had me reaching for a hanky when Severus was afraid after she walked in the bathroom unannounced and then when he looked sad and lost, then I was happy when Hermione finally told him her feelings for him and she brushed his hair.  She didn't ask him to stop the 'whore' names, but perhaps he'll do it on his own now.  Ooh, I just want to hug him... or get in the shower with him!

Two updates from you in one day, this is a treat and a half.  I love your vulnerable Snape, he is actually rather endearing as an insane man who needs nurturing.

Outstanding. In several senses of the word. The story stands out from other HGSS fanfics by the unique madness of the main character. It is impossible to mistake it for any other post-HBP fic. I usually have to review my notes when a new chapter of the WIPs that I follow appears in order to remember what it was about. Not this one. The story is exceptionally well written, the characters are both in character canon-wise and consistent with the flavour of this story. Development of both the characters and the plot is done perfectly (neither too slow nor too fast, neither too few details nor too many). Quite "acceptable". In other words: Outstanding.

I was wondering when Hermione was going to get sick of the whore thing.  Yay, Hermione said the magic words!  I almost teared up when Severus got all upset.  Shower scenes are the best.

Glad to see you are back!!!How incredibly tender that Snape is worried for her 'delicate Gryffindor sensibilities'!  That he sees her as fragile is so beautiful.  Especially, since his accident, Snape's own fragile state is more apt to splinter.  That he should be in protective mode still is more than just touching.  It brought me to tears.Please update soon. 

maybe Hermione shouldn't wait till SEverus is 'well' (whenever that may be) cos all this positive, possibly sexual, interaction will actually help him to recover his sanity faster.  I love this story!!  Looking eagerly forward to the next installment.

Okay, I still love the madness of your Severus, but I found a really funny word choice error this time,too!  When Severus gets out of the shower, I think you mean to say he has finished with his ablutions, not his absolutions.  Absolutions are acquittals or releases from sentences, especially in the religious sense where a priest will say, "Absolvo te," (I release you from your sins.).  Of course, Severus I am sure would like to be released from the madness curse!

When Hermione was telling him she was in love, and he was in agony, so was I.  I was torn between enjoying the way your eloquence dragged all the emotion to the surface so slowly, sweetly and painfully, and wanting to scream 'Just get on and tell him, damnit!'  Still, at least I have the image of Snape prancing around naked hoping to catch her sneaking a peek to hold me over until the next chapter
