Love the intense scenes.  I'm curious as to what Severus is struggling with, poor Hermione having to watch! 

Has Snape been doing a Dr. McCoy--carrying Albus's consciousness since his "death?"  I can certainly see how that would make an orderly soul like Severus go mad.  And Hermione losing her head a bit for a minute there was touching.  It shows how much she cares.

Another cliffhanger--you're a naughty author!  Keep up the good work.

Great update again. I like the pace and the action going on. Muahahha... Looking forward to seeing our dear Headmaster back in the saddle again. :)

I thought that was it, i was kinda of certain that severus didnt really kill albus in your story and the potion had something to do with bringing him back from the dead!will it also bring back severus' mind? this i can only ponder as i wait in suspence for the next update!!!-KarlaMarie

I finally got my buttocks over here to the Petualnt Poetess and registered.  I just couldn't wait for Sycophant Hex to get around to putting up the next couple chapters.  Your last two chapters were fantastic as usual.  And, I am generously prepared to forgive you for that "nasty tricksy" cliffhanger since I read on your LJ that you were almost finished with the next chapter.

It's amazing, Pook.  You've created a chapter chock full of so much: cool Bill, cheeky Draco, gobbledygook soul-magic, and wands drawn tension.  Everything is there except Severus, whose presence on the periphery is confirmed by a ghoulishly pathetic patronus before he goes on the lam.  His absence from the last two chapters and now from 12GP leaves me wanting to whinge.  I've got to hope Draco has some good ideas where to start looking.  ~

*sighs* Well, I got what I asked for I suppose- lot's of nice answers in this chapter. And the Tolkien-esque-ishness was wonderful, of course. But the ending!
