Forty-something, married, Professional Colorist seeks intelligent, scrawny man with misunderstood past. Tattoos a plus, snarkiness a must.
My interests include: Eating, breathing, napping, swearing and chocolate; as well as long, romantic walks from the refrigerator to my computer.
Needed skills must include: Foot massage, adoration, feeding my kids for me and ironing my husband's work clothes, along with sneering, looming, staring at me with desire, and reading whatever I hand you into my ear in a sultry tone.

Yar!!! lol!
This chapter really whets the appetite for more -- whenever it comes. Thanks for the wonderful story and I look forward to finding out just who apparated into the house.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
More is coming as fast as possible. Hopefully, you won;t have to wait too long.
I hate you!! No really, I won't read anymore. . . well maybe one more chapter for you to redeem yourself after this horrid cliffie. But really, any more nonesense and I won't read another chapter or two. . . heehee just kidding, I really hate cliffies and you're perfect with them. Great update and getting the guys in there was a great place to start the final build up. Now if only Harry were around the corner. . .
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Sadly, Harry and Ron are dead. As for the cliffies, well, what can I say? They get worse... *insert evil cackle*
It looks like Severus is feeling a little bit jealous when it comes to Charlie and Victor. He should know that Hermione loves only him, no one else. Who is Alberforth sending? Darn evil cliffie.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
He should know. If he ever had anything like a normal, stable emotional relationship with anyone before...
very good! exciting things are happening!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you!
Very clever of Nott. I was shocked at the 'raid' on the house for Rookwood, and the fight. I hope Ma is in with the girls. *crosses fingers*
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
So glad you are still enjoying my story! You will learn more about Ma very soon!
That was close. Just as well Mulciber didn't know his potions. :)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Yup, he always skivved off that class in school and then used Snaoe's notes. Or something.
That was fascinating. I knew Snape would ignor her as soon as he came in looking and acting like his old self. He had warned her from the beginning that it would have to be that way, so I wasn't surprised. So glad she didn't get beat up again. She's already been through so much. I'm sure it's not the last time. I imagine they have a long way to go before the Dark Lord is overthrown for good.Great story. I love that it is written from Hermione's POV and we can only guess what is happening outside the confines of their little "love" nest. Makes speculation and suspense all the more intense.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
The POV was so important to make this story work. But I will chew my arm off befoe I write in first person again. It was nerve-wracking!
I loved the mental picture of Severus striding into the room with the Death Eaters. Enough to make the kneesgo weak! As for Ma - I think her survival instincts arevery strong - I'm sure she'd rather carry on her operations without a Dark Lord in the background, butshe'll do whatever it takes to survive, whoever's in power. If there's a power shift, she'll know and go withit.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Death Eater Snape always makes me go squee! I never get to write him that way enough to satisfy. You will learn more about Ma very soon.
Wow, Hermione is the picture of grace under fire. Maybe the obvious Death Eaters should take a page from her book. I'm not sure what to make of the ending with Ma. They could really use her as an ally, so I hope that is what she will be for them. I was so worried after the end of the last chapter what the scene with Severus would entail, but it turned out to be not nearly as bad as I had expected. It must be hard though, for he and Hermione to be together, but not get to be together at all, even a touch or a look. And to sit by and watch MacNair mistreat her, all the while feigning indifference. He and Hermione were made to work together! It is so impressive the way that he is picking them off one by one, and he is so subtle about it, it seems almost effortless. As always, will be biting my nails, waiting on the next installment.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Severus did warn her, and he would never give the game away. I'm proud of Hermione for being able to keep up while so scared.Thank you so much for your review, as always. The next chapter is coming very soon.
even though angsty everyone's-dead stories aren't really my thing, I have grown to love and wait eagerly for every chapter of this one ^^thanks for sharing it with us! can't wait for the next!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I'm so very glad you took the chance to read it. I did start it off very dark, just to give contrast for when it starts to shine.
Hmm...Is Ma playing both sides of the fence? She seemed nice enough when Hermione broke the vase, but that was a lot of information to give out under pretense of Veritaserum! Maybe she's just figuring - like Severus often did when he was a spy - that you have to tell so much information in order to be believable.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
You will hear Ma's thoughts on things very soon!
OMG, Hermione was cool under pressure, I was really impressed with how she handled herself. Severus was as always perfect in his role as a Death Eater, very intimidating. Wonderful update as always, and I can't wait for more.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
More is coming very soon!
Yea another chapter. Things are getting very interesting. I look forward to you next update.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
The next chapter is in the queue and the queue doesn't seem too full today, so I hope you see the next chapter very soon!
Another fantastic chapter!!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you!
And so my reviews of "Wow. Awesome chapter!" continue. Since, you are the amazing wordsmith, do you think you could write a really kick ass review and we can pretend I wrote it? :)I just adore this story and the part where Hermione sniffed Severus' robes was just too damn cute!!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
LOL! I adore your reviews. I would change a thing.
"I have no idea what I was trying to say, but those were the words that I used to say it."Is that an allusion to something I should know? It's very pretty.Great story. Thanks for writing and sharing.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you for your review! I do think I made that line up. But I wouldn't swear to it in court. I've read so much I'm not sure if I have original thoughts anymore at all. :)
Wow, Hermione as a leader. Who would'va thought (being sarcastic). This was another good chapter. I am glad that there are other survives out there.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
lol! I'm glad you liked it.
i love your updates. What a unique tale you have taken to writing - thanks for all your time and dedication.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so much for your lovely review!
Now, we're getting somewhere. Most stories seem to start them out as lovers too quickly and some seem to take forever. This seems perfect, because you make the reader understand how much they need each other and it doesn't seemed rushed at all.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Oh thank you! I take that as high praise, indeed!
I hadn't expected to like this, but I find myselt anticipating each chapter. You've gotten off to a fantastic start and I'm looking forward to reading on.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
So glad you took a chance! Sorry I've been late in review replies. Hopefully RL will let me stay on top of it now.
I was so excited when I opened my e-mail this morning and saw that an update had been posted. I just finished reading it and I am thrilled at all the progress that has taken place in regards to Severus's plan. I know I may have said it in the past but I love, love, love this story. The funny thing about that is that I almost didn't start reading it, I was afraid it would be to depressing, wow was I wrong, there is so much hope in this story, that I find it truly inspiring. You have done a wonderful job and I will be anxiously awaiting the next incredible update.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so much! I love, love love your reviews! I'm very sorry that there's been a delay. But the next chapter is loaded into the queue now, and I'm hoping real life won't interfere with my FanFic anymore!
Hermione seems to be a natural-born leader. She doesn't mean to be, but she just is. Alpha-female, no matter how she tries to tamp it down. ITA that last line has me gulping! There's something weird going on here!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I saw her that way in canon, so it was a no brainer to me to bring that quality back, even if it is tempered by her experiences.
Gah! I hate cliffhangers like this! love the story though.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Oops... I was rather fond of cliffhangers when I wrote this.
