Forty-something, married, Professional Colorist seeks intelligent, scrawny man with misunderstood past. Tattoos a plus, snarkiness a must.
My interests include: Eating, breathing, napping, swearing and chocolate; as well as long, romantic walks from the refrigerator to my computer.
Needed skills must include: Foot massage, adoration, feeding my kids for me and ironing my husband's work clothes, along with sneering, looming, staring at me with desire, and reading whatever I hand you into my ear in a sultry tone.

Poor Snape. He is stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Not one of his better days, for sure.
Very intriguing start. :)

I fixed one or two (or three or four) errors, (like jumping out of windows when you're underground). And I can say that, thanks to astopperindeath, it is a much better read here, so I thank you for reading it again!
i hope this healing will be for a good ending, but i can't see one. great update. thanks and smoochies

Have faith!
Loved it!I hope when Severus leaves he takes her with him.Cause booth of them wouldn't be able to stand her in that place now.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Aw, but that would make the story short!
Aww. That was hot and cute all at the same time
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so much!
It is both sweet and sad that he thinks he is not good enough for her. I love that he thinks she is beautiful, but it was wonderful that him holding her made her feel safe and cherished. Thanks for another perfect chapter.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you, for another perfect review!
Lovely... just perfect.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you!
I'm glad they were able to connect emotionally. Her wanting him to see and want her as she is while he struggles with his perceived disadvantages. You're writing an excellent story and I'm glad it's fairly lengthy. Thanks for the update, I enjoyed it.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! The emotions are what my story is all about. Trying to take two people, emotionally devastated, and heal them in a way that seems realistic, despite the fantastical setting.
It's nice to see Snape undone without any inhibitions. And to see Hermione opening up and starting to feel again. I can't wait to see what happens next. Oh, and thanks for the tip on the other story. It's fabulous too.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you for your comments! It's so rewarding to hear people get what I was trying for! As for the other story, it really grabs you, doesn't it? I'm trying not to pester her for an update... lol.
I can't believe they killed the teachers. I can't believe it. Reading this story is harrowing.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Yes, this story starts out very dark. But it does get brighter!
Not bad for a man who only had sex once before. I look forward to your updates.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I am glad you approve. :)
You set the stage wonderfully with the first paragraph. It is concise, descriptive, and feels like part of the story. I love it when I can figure out where stories fit in with canon.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so very much! This story is totally canon up until page 309 of DH! It almost drove me nuts to make it so, but I did make it happen!
Nicely written with honest and realistic lemons!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you!
That was lovely. It's wonderful that they are both enjoying something good. They have had too much misery.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Agreed. A little solace, a little personal discovery, a little bonding. All were needed.
Why did you have to stop! You have to hurry with the next chapter! This was so good I even forgot where I was and that I was on a computer!I can't wait for the next chapter!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)

That made me fell so bad,I wanted to cry for the booth of then. You wrote a side to Severus that I have not seen anyone write in along time.I forgot how much I liked him this way.Thank-you.
I wish I was Hermione right about now!
I loved this chapter! The way you write I almost felt like I was there.I will most deafentally be adding this story to my favorite list.
I have only just found this but I already love it so much - the dark undercurrents, the fact that they're all at sea with only each other to cling to, it's so poignant and yet deeply moving. Please, keep going!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so much for your review! Rest assured, this story is done and will be posted as fast as it can make it's way through the busy queue!

Thank you very much! Your opinions really mean the world to me!
I am really enjoying your story. I've been looking for a great post-war dystopic fan fiction. You're doing a lovely job. Keep it up.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you very much! As for other dystopian fics, even though it's still a WIP, I recommend: http://www.thepetulantpoetess.com/viewstory.php?sid=5691It's sublime!

Thanks for the tip!
I like the first person tone of this story. And the last line resonated in me deeply.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you very much! This was my first experience with first person tone, and the experience almost broke me by chapter 4. However, I did finally get accustomed to it and in the end was really glad that's they way I chose to go. Not sure I would willingly do it again, it was like intentionally painting yourself into a corner so you could describe a room.
