Forty-something, married, Professional Colorist seeks intelligent, scrawny man with misunderstood past. Tattoos a plus, snarkiness a must.
My interests include: Eating, breathing, napping, swearing and chocolate; as well as long, romantic walks from the refrigerator to my computer.
Needed skills must include: Foot massage, adoration, feeding my kids for me and ironing my husband's work clothes, along with sneering, looming, staring at me with desire, and reading whatever I hand you into my ear in a sultry tone.

ooh, very good. This is getting more and more exciting.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! It's gonna get even more exciting as it builds!
I know I am beginning to sound like a broken record. but... Another amazing chapter. This one was not action-packed, but the tension and hope are both building. The excitement is still there, just underlying.Great stuff. I'm glad Nott is on their side. And Ma, too.

I'm so glad your enjoying it! And I'm so sorry for the late response.
Oh, what a cliffie! I feel sure of Nott, simply becauseSeerus is way too experienced to be fooled, so it's hardto imagine what will happen that is so surprising toHermione. I have a feeling that it will involve McNair, and it may not be good ....

Sorry I'm so late getting to your review. I thank you for it, and I am really glad you are still enjoying my story so much!
Absolutely amazing chapter! I was filled with a reckless feeling of enthusiastic hope......Until that last line of the chapter. Please, please, please don't let her trust in Nott be dashed! Though I was a bit suspicious how readily he revealed his reluctance to truly follow Riddle, as it seemed almost too easy and convenient for Nott to show up and divulge this information when he did. Please prove my suspicions wrong!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
So glad you are enjoying the story! Fear Nott not!
So I was very happy with the growing hope that seemed to infuse this chapter. I was, that is, until the final line. That feels ominous. As usual a very good chapter and I look forward to seeing how this gets resolved. Thanks, JoAnne

I'm dreadfully behind in replies, so excuse the lateness. Thank you so much for your review!
Things are well underway. I like the note in the pocket and the way she gave herself away by sniffing the robes. :)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you!
It's kind of ridiculous how much I love this story. I don't know what about this chaper gave you fits, but you've worked through it nicely.Of course the girls need a leader. I can understand Hermione's hesitancy, but she was natural born for the position.I'm glad that Nott took her roundabout advice and spoke with Severus. I'm a little surprised that he trusts Nott so quickly, but he has probably been watching him for awhile, just waiting for the right time.I loved how Nott revealed his allegiance with Severus, and was pleased that she found the note to her. While they have grown emotionally close out of necessity, they haven't had that getting to know you time that they normally would and therefore don't know the little quirks about one another. That he knew she would check the pockets was kind of endearing.Boy was I ecstatic to know that Charlie and Victor are alive. Makes me wonder how Severus knows, if they don't trust him. And who else might be out there? Hope is just popping up left and right. Please tell me that I am reading too much into the last line. It has me a little nervous...I want to give you more than five stars, but the silly computer won't cooperate :( I hope updates come regularly... this is my current drug of choice and withdrawl is not pretty :)

Ok, I hate to admit it, but I was still thinking about this story today (I promise to find a support group for obsessed fans soon) and had a light bulb moment. The looking him in the eyes stuff was a reference to legilimency, I now assume. That makes more sense that Severus would trust him so easily. Geez, I'm falling down on the job!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I'm hobbidly behind in replies due to a sudden trip I had to make.I love all your comments and I'm glad you figured out that Hermione was pushing Nott towards Severus's mind readering trick.
Oh a rebellion is starting to take hold and grow. I'm so glad that Nott has come to his senses and is sidding with Severus. I was shocked to find out Krum and Charlie live. Wow. I look foreard to the next chapter...

So glad you enjoyed it!
Oh I am so glad he didn't mind the 'Game'. Wow that was some list Hermione gave him. I hope she heeds his instructions.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I think you will be pleased with the result. The Girls are going to become rather handy...
Such a different variation on the Voldie wins - I really liked Severus' plan and how he pulled it off. Hermione's acoount of the Locket was so sad.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
So glad you are still with me! This chap was sad to write. Many of them were. Makes me wonder what is wrong with my brain sometimes!
I truly love the post-war what if scenarios. This is one of the best realized I've read in forever. I love the empowering little whorehouse rebellion 'the game.' I think Snape is absolutely wonderful in his role as DE agitator. I guess what I'm really trying to say here is that you are a slice of brilliant with extra awesome sauce. Thanks for a stellar evening of reading.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Holy cats, thank you so very much! It's going to take the rest of the evening to deflate my ego!
Each in their own way is scared and needy regardless of how others perceive them. They complete the empty spaces inside the other and where Severus uses Legilimacy, Hermione uses empathy. I wonder if Hermione realizes that he can live with everything she thought about him? It would be daunting to know your mate knew every little thought you had in their presence. Wonderful chapter, I enjoyed it so much and look forward to the rest of the story.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so much. I agree with how daunting it would be and how he can live with her opinions. It's a good thing Hermione is rather honest and will tell a person exactly what she's thinking if they ask. The problems come in when one stops reading minds and starts assuming they know what one thinks.
the image of so powerful a man also so needy is intense and compelling. magnificent job. thanks and mucho smoochies

Ain't he cute? I'm just too chicken to tell him. I might get hexed.
Crabbe and GOyle are such dumb goons! But I like how you used thier conversation - didn't anyone ever tell them not to blab so much - tells such a vivid picture.
I just know that the girls will use this to their advantage!
So, Princes has been requested - It's Severus again!
LOL I really liked the banter and easy way in which they talked in this. He's trying to be all nobel and she's trying to get into his pants. It was almost comical. I loved the line "Hermione, don’t. Please, I am only human." Oh he'll cave...
Oh gods - He had to kill Draco! slowly! Oh that is horrible!
The plaight you wove is amazingly terrible. and it mirrors her own misery as well.
He is so tender in his gruff way toward her, but I could really see that vow coming - not that he woudl make a vow! Only that he'd try to free her - but its his nature to make a vow isn't it? Gods, what have thye set up for themselves?!?!

HIs caring maner was really quite alien to her, isn't it? Her waspishness so understandable with everything she's been through.
I was shocked that Malfoy was dead - a spy - and killed. Interesting.
BUt Severus' defeated attitude that she was the onnly one left - that really got to me. Like in WOW.
Ever the saviour type, he's goign to make her his project... Oh, okay, for a Voldie-won Au I'm now hooked!
Oh the flash back dreams were - horible. Well, they were well done, so much info in such a economical way and thenthe morning after. he's not going to be happy that she just walked out on him. Life in this whore house is doown right horrible!
Lord she did everything she could and he still couldn't... it was his first time EVER? Macnair is a brek - Sev should have hexed him. Oh well. I'm glad she was able to get Macnair off Severus' back. Did I say that I don't read VOldie wins AU's? This is going to be an excpetion - I'm intrigued!
