Forty-something, married, Professional Colorist seeks intelligent, scrawny man with misunderstood past. Tattoos a plus, snarkiness a must.
My interests include: Eating, breathing, napping, swearing and chocolate; as well as long, romantic walks from the refrigerator to my computer.
Needed skills must include: Foot massage, adoration, feeding my kids for me and ironing my husband's work clothes, along with sneering, looming, staring at me with desire, and reading whatever I hand you into my ear in a sultry tone.

It was something wasn't it? I made myself a nervous wreck writing it.
Very interesting turn of events. I don't think I have ever encountered a plot line line this. This is a very good and inventive chapter -- well story really. I am intrigued and cannot wait for the next chapter. Thanks for posting, JoAnne

Thank you so very much.
So the three Deathly Hallows were traded for his life. Fair trade, I'd say.And Caroline's theory sounds good to me, unless this entire thing is one long nightmare, except for Severus falling in love with her, of course. At least he's not dead. I hope there's no lasting damage. Now that they are free of Voldemort, they deserve to be happy. Thanks for the hints as to where to look for significant plot bunnies. ;)

Thank you for a wonderful review. I figured if Harry could come back with only two hallows, Snape was a shoe-in with three. I;m glad you took the hints. You can prolly agree without them it looked a bit out of the blue...
Good thing he had the Hallow's on him, or was it his self sacrifice, or WAS it Harry and Ron's ghost's? Hmmmm, and exactly what did Harry mean when he said"...he's coming back to watch over you both..."? Hermione and who else??? I look forward to the next installment.

All your questions will be answered in the next chap! I promise.
Totally not expecting that. Very cool

I'm glad you liked it!
Amazing is all I can say. Truly beautiful work. Thank you.
This chapter was really beautiful. I totally believed that Ron made him take a vow lol. I wonder if Severus will remember.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
You will find out in the very next chapter.
Wow! That was interesting, and fantastic, and sad, and happy, and intense, and a little crazy *pours big bucket of adjectives over your head* Now I'm really anxious for the next chapter (as if I haven't had that same feeling for the last 36)! Very nicely done!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! I need all those adjectives for my next story!
AHHHHHH!!! I'm holding on to the hope that you wouldn't send any more misfortune their way. Fantastic scene at the ministry. Sometimes battle scenes are hard to read because they feel disjointed or confusing. Or they just go on forever and are tedious. This was so well done! Until the end... *glares at you*

I'm so glad you liked the fight. I will admit now, that when I started this fic, it was going to be much smaller. Snape was going to sneak her away and they were going to ride into teh sunset. No lie. I had no idea I had to take down a goverment floor by floor and would lose so many people I had come to care about.
I am so grateful to Harry, Ron, The resurrection stone and of course the exceptionally talented Aurett. Thank you all so much for saving Severus for Hermione.

Thank God! I was scared there for a minute!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I;m glad you stuck it out. :)
It's a lovely idea that Ron and Harry are still looking out for her. :)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I;m glad you lied it. I did foreshadow it, but that was waaaay back at the end of chap 3 and the beginning of chap 4.
I know you won't let Severus die - will you? Brilliant battledescriptions, very tight writing and thoroughly tense. Great chapter.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! I think I slept for a week after wroting that scene. Running up all those stairs did me in and I'm deathly afraid of inferi.
Wow you did a remarkable job with the fighting. Very well done, and very intense. I am now holding my breath to see if he's dead or not - gods, I hope not.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! I swore off battles after this one. Boy, it was so easy to lose track of who did what, where. The next chapter should be up momentarily.
Ok, I'll admit it, I'm freaking out right now, but I know you won't let it end like this. You won't will you?????? I don't think I could stand it if it did. I NEED Hermione and Severus to get their happily ever after.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Trust me. This time.
Response from pearl city princess (Reviewer)
Ok, I will trust you this time, after all you've never let me down before.

So hitting submit without actually typing anything first seems to not be the done thing...Right. Now, back to me being evil...
You evil, evil woman! Oh, and they say chivalry is dead. ;) Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
WHAT???? This is the evilest cliffie yet!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I did warn you. You can't say I didn't warn you...
Response from joyfulheart (Reviewer)
Yes, yes you did warn me. I think that there is some kind of TPP competition to see who can come up with the best evil cliffie. I think that's what keeps me coming back.
OH GOD NO!!! How could you leave it like this??? Please, Please don't let it end like this - I think my heart might break if Severus and Hermione can't be together! **I guess you can tell I'm TOTALLY ENTHRALLED with this story. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed before now, just please know I love this story and hope there IS a happy ending!?!**
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Trust me.
OMG what an amazing chapter! My heart is pounding. Severus can't be dead - I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I hope they got Mulciber. Can't wait for the next chapter.
