Forty-something, married, Professional Colorist seeks intelligent, scrawny man with misunderstood past. Tattoos a plus, snarkiness a must.
My interests include: Eating, breathing, napping, swearing and chocolate; as well as long, romantic walks from the refrigerator to my computer.
Needed skills must include: Foot massage, adoration, feeding my kids for me and ironing my husband's work clothes, along with sneering, looming, staring at me with desire, and reading whatever I hand you into my ear in a sultry tone.

Ooh, interesting. Rather dark, but interesting. I'm intrigued and impatient- may go look for you on ff.net, as other folks seem to have done.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Yesh, it starts as dark as I could make it and still be able to see. Then the lights come up.
I'm so glad to see you posting this here! I read and deeply enjoyed this fic over on ff.net.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Well hello again! I will be making some slight changes, smothing a lump here or there, but basically it will be the same!
oh this looks interesting!!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Hmmm. I have to get the hang of responding to reviews on this site. Thank you so very much, I hope you will enjoy the rest of it as it comes.
Im liking this so far, can't wait to read more.

Thanks! The story is finished and will be posted as fast as it can be polished. It takes about three chapters before the story is really off and running; I do hope you enjoy!

Hey. Astopperindeath recced this at the_new_library a little while back, and I read most of it over at ff.net. Nice to see it making an appearance here!
Author's Response: Thank you! There will be minor story fixes to this posting, nothing major. I am honored that you have read it. Astopperindeath kindly invited me to come play in your yard; I promise I will respect the toys. :)
Beautifully done. I had tears many moments while reading it. Very touching. Amazingly detailed in every way. Thank you for sharing it.
I am over 18
I am of age and loving this story
What a wonderful story, thank you!
Sweet. Thank you for the story that explored desperation from a point of view I haven't read yet. You made your characters strong and entailing and I loved how they managed to push through.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so much for all of your awesome reviews! It was really wonderful reading the progression of your thoughts and reactions. I am very glad you enjoyed my story!
Lovely and satisfying. The baby Severus conjured (ok, so technically he only temporarily lifted contraception charms in the room, but effectively that conjured a baby) would fit into their lives nicely. I hope they will learn to share the mundane in their lives with the same fervor as they share the ultimate challenges.
I'm teary. It was a very powerful way of linking the story together. Thank you for giving it foundation early on in the story. I loved Peaches especially.
No.
No.
No.
Mulciber.
You left me speechless, but I insist to hope with full force.
Mulciber seems like a greater danger than Voldemort in this story. He is sane, and that makes him frightening. I hope the revolution will be able to locate him elsewhere and get him neutralised soon.
Let's say that this anxiety is a positive feeling, because it testifies your skill as a writer. I have to convince myself of that. Otherwise, the tension builds higher than in cannon, and it's very uncomfortable. I find myself more invested in the battle than I was in DH. Possibly, cannon fell flat because the relationships were not that intense. Yours have credence.
Oops! It's coming. Severus is downright dangerous. I'm glad he is on our-fangirl's-side.
Very humane. In one gesture, you showed that Snape's Company is a group of children that has seen entirely too much for their age. Childish, yet desperate. I love the symbolism of a tattoo. The idea of the tattoo itself.
"Not yet." That alone had atoned for the misunderstanding. I'm more than grateful that they were able to see one another's motivations clearly and to accept them. You did a very good job handling the backlash. I loved its resolutions even more than I hated that it even had to happen.
Hermione is painfully naive if she thinks Severus could understand the kind of camaraderie she shares with Charlie and Viktor. She has hurt him much more than is bearable and she doesn't even realise. She might on her way to seek him, but I'm not feeling too charitable towards her at the moment.
I've read the last few chapters on my phone, which decided to be obstructive to reviews. I hope you can forgive me. To sum up my impressions, I liked how Severus could round up people that were left over. The Forest group is fascinating in its secrecy. I'm guessing, the Forest must be quite rebuilt now that so many people have lived there. Even though they got nourishment from the Ministry. Hermione handled the insecurities of the various fractions well, but I sincerely hope that Severus's misunderstanding of the closed doors won't lead to too many problems between them. They are irresistible when driven, and I prefer to see the drive that pulls them together. As we all do.
And, now, I'm afraid. He rose to prominence and prominence is a dangerous double-edged sword. He might even not have time to visit Hermione. Yet, the way the story unfolded showed how devious Severus can be in playing for a cause. Let's hope though the girls will be able to keep the whorehouse off the radar as long as possible.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Always hold out hope...
Devious. Between Severus and Hermione, Voldemort has no chance. Never had any in SSHG world under all scenarios. Whether they triumph or fail, they always find a way to salvation. Yours is particularly tempting.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Agreed! And I am very grateful you were tempted.
I have been quiet for the first chapters, but it must end right now. You are gifted author that deserves to know the full impact of her words. A review.I'm impressed and touched by how realistic this feels. You have given your characters motivation that are believable and a world that enhances the motivations up to utter and complete desperation. The story is ultimate, and I fully believe in it. Amazing, Aurette.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
