Forty-something, married, Professional Colorist seeks intelligent, scrawny man with misunderstood past. Tattoos a plus, snarkiness a must.
My interests include: Eating, breathing, napping, swearing and chocolate; as well as long, romantic walks from the refrigerator to my computer.
Needed skills must include: Foot massage, adoration, feeding my kids for me and ironing my husband's work clothes, along with sneering, looming, staring at me with desire, and reading whatever I hand you into my ear in a sultry tone.

Yummy, indeed! Just as I predicted. His plan falls into place.Brilliant. He can turn them all against each other in this position and, one by one, pick them off.I love this story.

Thank you! Next one is coming!
It looks like the girls did a good job of shaking things up among the Death Eaters. I am enjoying this story so much, but I do miss Severus.

I know, it's like a light goes out whenever he's offstage, isn't it?
Hi there. Just got into your story last night and am now up to date. I thought your portrayal of Severus as a virgin was brilliant and terribly poignant at the same time. This is a very intense Severus though obviously not without his dark, wonderful humour that only us fangirls seem to get!I'd feel sorry about your snow but I was snowed in for six weeks over Christmas and New Year. Had a flight cancelled when flying from Manchester to Malaga in early January and my husband can only get out with the aid of snow chains and a Range Rover. I live in East Lancashire in the UK for god's sake not Antarctica! I'm bloody well snowed in again today! Oh...it makes me mad. Anyway keep up the good work because this is fantastic. Best wishes, Love (a very chilly) Ali xxxxx.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so very much for your review! I have to admit, I have a soft spot for Virgin!Snape, as unrealistic as that might be, the challenge was to leave him as much dignity as was possible, concidering the circumstances.I do want to know who's been playing with the weather machine this year. It's completely batty! I suspect some pranksters have been at it.
OH and btw - I totally get you on the snow. Texas here (D/FW) and I'm sure you heard about our record 12.5 - 14 inches of snow last week? Absolutely insane, I'd never seen so much snow in my life...It was pretty the first inch or so, but our horror as it piled up could not be unsurpassed, lol
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Well, if it's the end times, I'm spending it with Snape...
I'm keeping my promise with enthusiastic reviews! ;) I always imagined a post-Voldie world to fall apart similar to this, but I love how Hermione and the girls definitely have a hand in the monkeywrenching!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
*waves* Now you get to see all my finely crafted foreshadowing. Or something.
Great chapter. Gives them each something to keep them occupied. Can't wait to see how it plays out.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! I think you will be pleased...
How great they must feel, finally having a sense of power and control after being without for so long. But what a dangerous game they've started. I'm anxious to see what the Death Eaters are so boisterous about. A happy Death Eater is not always a good thing! Update soon... pretty please... with whatever you want on top!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Oh, it's a heck of a thing, too. It's in the queue!
Perhaps THATS why the devil went down to Georgia-- he wanted to see if IT could freeze over first. . . heehee nice update anyway!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
LOL! Oh, I am soooo stealing that line. Yup. I sure am.
AHHHH evil cliffie ... love this story - it totally keeps me no my mental toes. Keep up the good work!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Hello, my name is Aurette, and I have an evil cliffie addiction...
I'm really enjoying this. I like how. with the first person perspective, you really feel the enclosed and claustrophobic world in which Hermione lives; how we don't know exactly what Snape is doing, only that it is very devious and very dangerous. I like how you have portrayed Snape as a powerful man in most aspects (intelligent, sure of his own abilities) but he has his own vulnerability because of his lack of experience with women, which is rather touching and (almost, because I would never want to categorise him this way) sweet. Overall, it's quite brilliant!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you for this! I realised early that I would have to write this in first-person for that exact reason. Hoever, I quickly realised I should have licked an outlet and saved myself some grief. It was worth it, but the sense you have, when you are a child, of running down a hill and realising you can;t run fast enough to stay on your feet? Oh, yeah, forty chapters of that exact sensation...
It's not good when it snows period. I'm from outside of Philly where we got four feet of snow in two separate blizzards four days apart...but I get where even a little snow sucks for you guys...
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I'm from the North originally. But they only have one plow in this whole state and a bucket of salted sand to share. It's not that I can;t drive in it, it's that I don't trust the other freaks on the road. Much woser to hide in your house if you want to live...
Response from barbied011 (Reviewer)
I totally agree.
And the tension rises... ooh, can't wait for the next update! =)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you ! Next chapter is on it's way!
They are clever girls. :)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Yes, I agree. They were all someone, before they were damned to this existance. I think they are having a lot of fun using their brains.
Oooh, I wonder what happened! Wow, I just can't wait to read more.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
More is coming soon! Thank you for your review!
Snow in Georgia? I heard you folks were being nailed with more weather than us up here in the Great White North. We Michiganian's usually take it in stride but you have my condolences, especially when you're not used to it.Anyway loved this chapter, I am very intrigued with the politics. Severus is still making a major difference without anyone knowing about it!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I have to say, this is the weirdest winter in the 17yrs I have been here.Thank you for your marvelous review! I have to say, making up political intrigue was almost harder than anything else!
This was another good chapter. I look forward to all of your updates. This has been a very interesting story and it is vastly different from what is out there right now. This is a great change of pace. Thank you for sharing it with us fans of fanfiction.

Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Snape isn't one to brag... Just smirk. Thanks!
I have a very strong felling that Severus had something to do with all of this!As always great chapter.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I thank you! Go with your feelings...
I simply love this new hopeful Hermione, she is such a treasure.I wonder how much of a hand Severus had in the death of Rodolphus and his lover. He is such a slytherin, it had to be him.Wonderful work, can't wait for more.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
He is a sneaky kinda guy, ain't he? More coming!
Yikes, sounds like some scores were settled and the younger group may have won out over the old guard. Love it, can't wait to find out what happened and what our dear Potions Master has been up to.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
It's rather exciteing, I will tell you that!
Oh, I love Hermione's hope. It just makes my demeanor brighten reading about it. I'm routing for the beach and the drinks with umbrellas myself. That sounds good to me. Severus can totally do it. It would be too depressing for Hermione's reviving hope to shatter. Lovely, as always.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I could see Snape on the beach, but I'm thinking he'd be more of a Gin and Tonic or Martini man. I'm picturing a bartender with little umbrellas shoved in uncomfortable places.
