Forty-something, married, Professional Colorist seeks intelligent, scrawny man with misunderstood past. Tattoos a plus, snarkiness a must.
My interests include: Eating, breathing, napping, swearing and chocolate; as well as long, romantic walks from the refrigerator to my computer.
Needed skills must include: Foot massage, adoration, feeding my kids for me and ironing my husband's work clothes, along with sneering, looming, staring at me with desire, and reading whatever I hand you into my ear in a sultry tone.

Hooray for exploitative hermione! What a captivating story

Thank you so very much for your wonderful review!
Dare I say that Severus will neither shrink from nor push himself into the position, so naturally, Voldemort will annoint him. How very Slytherin of him. ;)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Yesh...sneaky man.
Great update! I really like voldemort wins fics but they often don't end. Hope this one does.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
This story is already complete in forty chapters!
Haha, Mr. Lestrange's death is rather funny - it a morbid sorta way!I do hope Hermione gets the Horcrux information to Severus somehow!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
His death was one of the fixes since posting this here. I actually had him jumping out the window, and dozens of people read it before one reminded me the Ministry is underground. Doh!
Well, he isn't a knight in shining armor, is he? He is brilliant and Slytherin to the core. She shouldn't be surprised by his methods, but as noted, she really doesn't know him that well. I am really excited to see how this all plays out, and hope that while the road will undoubtedly be bumpy, they will eventually get what they deserve in life.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
THank you! I agree, her need for him to barge in and sweep her away wasn't all that realistic. I think she's down with the program now, tho...
Ohh, I can't wait for more. Excellent. I'm glad that horrible Lestrange couple are dead! Vile creatures.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Agreed, hateful people...
Oooh, sounds like Severus is doing his damndest to fulfill his promise to Hermione. I'd say taking out the Dark Lord's key minions is definitely a good first step.Go, Severus, go!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
so glad you approve!
Wow. This just keeps getting more interesting... Thank you for continuing the story.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Your very welcome, thank YOU for reviewing!
Love seeing Hermione in her own little world - like her taking a vacation from what she does on a daily basis, all the while maintaining her newfound hope. The subtlety is supremely Snape-d. Can't wait to see how it goes in the divvying of the newly vacant positions, as well as how Hermione exploits it!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so very much! New chapters are coming as soon as I get my self together, sorry for the delay!
Has Snape written all over it! :)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
He's good, ain't he?
I love how subtly you've hinted to Snape's work in the arising death eater coup =) Please, Miss, can I have some more? =P
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Actually, due to Real Life, chapters 11 & 12 are at the beta's getting cleaned. I will post them as soon as I can, but I was running behind this last week. Sorry
Response from LoveFenrir (Reviewer)
Nono, take as much time as you need! Stuff this good is worth waiting for =)*goes off to check out Real Life*
There are so many things I loved about this chapter it would take half the night to talk about all of them, each new chapter is better than the last. I know I've said it before but I just have to say I love, love, love this story.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Not as much as I love, love, love your reviews!!!
Love the opening up between the two of them without it all feeling rushed.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you, that means a lot. I worked hard to try and get that balance. Too fast and plausibility collapses; too slow and the sadness becomes overbearing. Of course, one is never sure of success until one receives this kind of review!
That was amazing. I love it.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! I am really glad you enjoyed it!
Loved this chapter. Humor, sex, discovery, it had it all!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so much! I was really hoping people would have that reaction! They are both still a little OOC but moving closer to the people we know with each interaction!
wow, that was...wow...difficult to describe. Made me feel rather tearful at the end. Terrible situation for both of them.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I am so very glad for your reviews! The story starts out about as dark and sad as it gets, but I promise, it moves towards a brighter dawn.
wow. I am intrigued.
wow, this is so heartbreaking! Excellent story so far, however.
Oh wow, I am shocked, was that an unbreakable? This man is a mystery. I would have thought his vow taking days were behind him, though a vow you choose is far different than one forced upon you. I can't wait to see her reaction to this turn of events.I am so in love with this story. I have never read one from the angle of things going very wrong during the final battle. It,s very angsty but it also has so much hope that things could turn around if they hang on to each other. Oh yea and thanks for all the cliffies (I love them) they do help to keep the tension up. I'll just hang around here by my fingertips waiting for the next chapter.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Snape's views on vows have been warped a bit by the life he has led the last five years. It's Unbreakable, unshakable, and utterly Slytherin. All shall be explained! Every question answered! Every fingertip bruised for a good cause! Keep hanging in there! And thank you for your review!
I normally avoid angst, but this story has a depth and possible ray of hope that keeps drawing me back. Thanks for writing.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I hope you stick around, there really is a ray of light, and a rainbow as well... :)
This story makes my heart ache for them. I'm so glad he needs her as much as she needs him. But now, what are their choices? Would he be allowed to take her from this place? If so, wouldn't alarm bells go off in Voldemort's mind? I anxiously await the next chapter.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
The next xhapter is on it's way! As for their choices...*zips mouth closed*
Ahh!! Evil Cliffie!! Another fantastic chapter!!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thanks! I'm sorry to say there are one or two more evil cliffies headed your way. But not tooooo many. :)
This has the makings of a wonderful, rich story. Please do not let it die on the vine - finish it. It would be very disappointing not to know the outcome of this tale. I never bother to leave reviews, but thought perhaps it would encourage you to continue.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! I am honored to recieve one of your rare reviews! Rest assured, this story is finished and only awaits a bit more polish for escapee commas and it will all be posted in due time!
Would have thought Snape would have had his full of vows by now...Very moving chapter!Livvy
