Forty-something, married, Professional Colorist seeks intelligent, scrawny man with misunderstood past. Tattoos a plus, snarkiness a must.
My interests include: Eating, breathing, napping, swearing and chocolate; as well as long, romantic walks from the refrigerator to my computer.
Needed skills must include: Foot massage, adoration, feeding my kids for me and ironing my husband's work clothes, along with sneering, looming, staring at me with desire, and reading whatever I hand you into my ear in a sultry tone.

Now I just KNOW that you are not going to kill off Severus after all that!!! No, no, no, NO!Please, no.Talk about cliffies! Could the Elder Wand somehow protect him? or the fact that she pushed him aside to sacrifice herself before he did the same for her? Like Harry's mother did for him?I anxiously await your next chapter. Please don't leave us hanging for too long.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I refer you to the last three sentences of Chapter 18.

Ah, yes. This is the problem with reading many stories little by little over a long period of time. You don't remember all of the details of each one. And even if you do, which detail that goes with which story can sometimes be forgotten.Thanks.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I know! It's been killing me that these chapters take so long in the queue! It's good, it means TPP is a busy place, but it does make a trainwreck of continuity. There's a big plot point that was hinted at at the end of chap three and beginning of chap four that NO ONE will remember. lol. Ah, well.
Love the build up in this chapter and the little sleepy conversation.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! I'm glad you liked that moment, I was rather proud of getting it just so.
Aww. The end of this chapter was just too cute.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you!
There is a real tension building now; you've conveyed itvery well. It's so nice that Charlie and Victor are coveringHermione's back as well as Severus, and of course theman himself is nothing short of a walking miracle.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! It's all in, now. There is no escaping the climax.
I am excited and anxious about what comes next and I am really hoping for a wonderful outcome. Neville is such a sweet heart, I just love him. Severus has perfect timing, everytime.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
How can you not love Neville? He's such a sweetie. Severus is just perfect. Full Stop. Oh, wait, am I biased? I think I'm biased...
Response from pearl city princess (Reviewer)
I am totally biased, and I don't care who knows it.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
...so hard to be neutral around that man...
this is an awesome story. I don't remember if I have reviewed before, but I love this tale and are anxious to se how it will all go
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I am very glad you like it!
Neville is awesome, and the little scene in bed is very touching. :)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you!
Geez, I get so involved in this I can't help having that nervous, queasy feeling that comes from excitement and fear. I might as well be right there in the thick of things. I've got my fingers crossed that all will go well. It simply has to! But Neville is right. They've done all they can, and they have to go into this with confidence and determination. Knowing the alternative, I think they will all fight like hell. It's hard to believe we have come so far from that first night Hermione and Severus shared. I can't wait to know what happens next!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
To gove you an idea of just how nervous and queasy I was, I wrote the next four chapters in twenty-four hours... I couldn;t wait to find out what happened either!
hmmm sexy librarians... very good idea lolcan't wait to see the next few chapters!!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Next one should drop tomorrow, judging by the queue. :)
I read the story this weekend and today I've just reread it and also reviews....I would say 'write faster woman!' but you say you've already written it all... If you haven't, I'm going to send Lucius over to chat with you. I can do that, you know. One reviewer called it Dark Fic. I don't see this as a dark fic at all. There is much lightness and sweetness, but with real human emotion; what people would actually do in this situation. It could be set anywhere there is a repressed underclass. The men act like real men, and the women like real women.More! More! And soon! We Malfoys are impatient.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I wanted to start this as Dark as I could make it, and then slowly bring the lights up until it gleamed. However, that makes it somewhat hard to classify when posting the first chapter without giving things away. So it is a Dark Fic.As for you Malfoys... lol! Incoming!
oh lordy...kinky indeed! faboo update. thanks and smoochies
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Ain't he som'in? Thankx!
Yes, of course a man like Severus would fantasize about a librarian. I love it.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Wouldn't he just? This chap is a personal fav.
"I think you have just been metaphorically peed on," said Peaches, coming up behind me.Have I mentioned I love Peaches?
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Ain't she something? I heart her.
I just discovered your story this morning and have been reading straight through... not reveiwing as I should be because it is too good to stop.... I have laughed and cried and adore both the very realistic Hermione and Severus... and the whore house plot... and the Death Eaters and... well... giggled when I read this... "You're damn skippy," said Peaches behind me."I'm going to be soooooo unhappy when I make it though all of the posted chapters.. and bouncing on foot to foot waiting for more if it keeps up like this. Because it is a better ending than JKR's, so far.....
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I love Peaches. She was my first OC and I based her on a real friend, but Peaches grabbed the script and threw it out the window. Thank goodness.
Voldemort will love that he couldn't function with her all dressed up a a schoolgirl. :)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I thought so, especially when he's supposed to be sexually inept as far as Voldiebutt thinks.
I can understand, since he is, after all, a man of high moral fiber, that he would not wish to picture her in her school robes. Quite the mood killer. But libraries are filled with stimulating reading material and tables that are just the right hight...Sorry, it's hard to get my mind out of the gutter when thinking of Severus Snape.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Lordy, if my mind didn;t keep falling in the gutter, I prolly never would have started writing... I love a quirky kinky Snape.
Ha! A librarian, love it. And tell me that she isn't turned on by that scenario too. Her plan with the school detention was a good one, even if he was unsure about it all. Hopefully they were able to get enough good footage for a memory. I hope that Hermione never has to find out whether the stone will work for her or not. Let's just have a happy ending, shall we? Another great chapter. Keep 'em coming.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I had good fun with that chapter. I'm as guilty of reading a Detention Fic as the next Snapophile, but I have to admit I had great fun standing that trope on its head.
This is one of the most beautifully written stories that I have read. Well done!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you very much! I am humbled by your review.
Whew! That was worth the wait!! Thanks for getting them back on track. Great love scene as well - I love me some good HG/SS lovin'Keep up the good work. You have a great story going on here.TR
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so very much!
Wow. That was intense! :)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
wasn't it tho? It was all in the nail-biting lead in...
Oh, I just love jealous Severus. Almost as much as I love satisfied Severus. It's so nice that both of them are getting a chance at something neither thought possible. It's a lovely chapter. Well done.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you for your wonderful review, I'm tickled you enjoyed it.
A very fitting culmination to the emotional storm that's been brewing! You're delivering an extremely satisfying story, this is an absolute pleasure to read each and every update. I have no excuse for failing to review more often. Thankyou so very much for sharing with us all, and I will do my best to keep the plotbunny fed in future!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I really appreciate that you took the time to review. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. The plot bunneh is stuffed, the story is done. It will be posted until it is complete, fear not.
This was just perfect, and so intense.
