How true! Your Severus is such a wounded soul, bearing it all to Hermione. But they are all each other has. I am so glad Hermione is turning from the cold and meaningless idea of sex (that was forced on her) and is really experiencing the reality of intimacy.

Wow... you always leave me speechless. Something that I really like is how the things that they say and do when interacting with each other are always perfect.  They constantly seem to know, whether consciously or not, exactly what the other one needs.  And yet, their words and actions are awkward and bumpy like two such people in a very brand new relationship with each other would be.  I don't know if that makes sense.I'm so pleased that she is able to understand that he does want to sleep with her, but would never want her to think that  it is the reason he came to see her.  And because she really made the effort to show him how much she desired him, he didn't need to feel guilty for asking her to do the very thing that he comes to rescue her from.  Hopefully, he understands that what she does with him, and what she does with the other men, are not even remotely the same thing.I suppose I am glad that you stopped where you did, because surely this means the next chapter will still be Snape and Hermione alone time, before they have to admit that reality exsists outside their door.  I absolutely cannot wait for the next installment!  Um... remember I was supposed to be speechless.  I guess I forgot myself :)

Oh, I am so glad to see Severus, I have missed him.    "Mine"  I love that part.   I love this story so much that I may need a 12 step program or grief counseling when it's over.A wonderful, awesome, perfect, fantastic, incredible update.
