Forty-something, married, Professional Colorist seeks intelligent, scrawny man with misunderstood past. Tattoos a plus, snarkiness a must.
My interests include: Eating, breathing, napping, swearing and chocolate; as well as long, romantic walks from the refrigerator to my computer.
Needed skills must include: Foot massage, adoration, feeding my kids for me and ironing my husband's work clothes, along with sneering, looming, staring at me with desire, and reading whatever I hand you into my ear in a sultry tone.

A heart-pounding chapter. So much emotion. Even though the story is written from Hermione's pov, I feel I almost know what Severus is thinking too. Or at least how he is feeling.Great job. I'm so glad she didn't fear him when he came back to visit her.And the paradox that this powerful man would want to "belong" to a lowly whore - sheer genius. Without her love he has nothing to live for. Indeed, he is nothing without her.Brilliant. More, please!

Thank you! It was a challenge to write this in first-person, because we want to see Snape and know his thoughts. I took a gamble that if I wrote him correctly, people would know his thoughts. Reviews like yours tell me I did my job right!
They need each other so much. I liked the way she held back on actually kissing him until then. :)
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Oh, thank you! It was her last reserve.
Yea another update. This was really good and smutty. I like that Severus is so needy of Hermione.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Yup, she's definitely gifted with a side of him no one else sees.
Wow. Scary, powerful and touching - well done.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you. It was intense to write.
Oh no an evil cliffie, I do love them. I can't wait to see who was asking for Hermione, I know who I hope it is.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I know you will like it!
I am not a fan of the " Voldermort won, everyone is dead, and Hermione is a whore " universe, but I have seen this rec'ed so many times, and heard your writing praised so often, I had to read it. This is not the first time I have read " The Princess" & it won't be the last, I don't know if I have left a review for it before, if not I am deeply ashamed, and will try to review every chapter this time. Thank you so very much for sharing this brilliant story.
this story is beyond amazing. i seem to keep running out of superlatives but it is beyond amazing. thanks and mucho smoochies
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you so very much for that. I am very humbled by your praise.
It was difficult to put this story down. A job very well done.
Ooh, interesting that Snape's in the midst of it all now and seemingly Voldy's right hand man. Now to see who's requested the Princess...

Yes, lets!
HOORAY!. "the game" was such a great concept. Nice to see that death eaters are a bunch of gossipy old hens! GAH - I can't wait for more. Fantastic chappie
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! 'The Game' was fun to write but also difficult. I mean coming up with all this political intrigue was a lot harder than it looks! I now have a lot more respect for ppl who can write those types of stories. Their brains scare me now.
I love your imagination and detailing of events. I'm so enjoying re-reading this again.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Thank you! I really like this 'polished' version much better.
Evil cliff hanger. Lovely chapter.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I do so love an ebil cliffie.
Oh please tell me it is a certain very welcome visitor! You have to think that in the midst of all of this insanity, he would need to periodically refuel his fire; remember his reason for continuing on what is sure to be a foolish, amazing, dangerous, spectacular quest to make things right. I don't think these two are beyond repair, but it is awful that his brilliant plan has to be so slow and subtle. It has got to be killing them both. Please be nice to them (us?) and give them a break coming up... even if only for one night. Keep churning out the brilliance quickly please!
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Refueling coming up!
This just keeps getting better. I love this story
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Yay! So glad you like it!
Oh, I hope it's Snape. But I also hope that she is not too scared of him from the tales she just heard. He seemed so helpless the first time she saw him just a couple of months ago. What a change! Although I never believed he was ever helpless, it was part of his ruse to make it seem so to anyone who might have found him. That way people would let their guard down around him and feel he was not a threat.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
I think you will find the next chapter rewarding!

He would not be the type to flaunt his wealth. And it doesn't take much for a single man to accumulate wealth. With no other mouths to feed, and a house that was long ago paid for, he probably has very few expenses.Perhaps something deep inside of him told him to hang in there, that somewhere out there he would find someone who still needed him. We don't always know why some are spared when other fall to tragedy, but there is always a reason.
Response from Aurette (Author of The Princess of Gryffindor)
Such a wonderful, and very astute, review! Thank you so much!
