Fawkes... I'm truly sorry if I hadn't left a review before now.  I had read part of the story, but had forgotten about it until I saw it up again on the board.  Sooooo.... I am re-reading it again from the first chapter.  The story has been excellent up to this chapter, a joy to read.  But seeing Umbridge give Snape a 'feel'?  Ewwwww!*Cough, gag*  Whoa!  Too much!I promiss to leave more reviews as I go along and since I still have like thirty-something chapters to cover... a few reviews here and there should do it. 

I liked this chapter, very much.  The way he used his Legilimency skills to push her to defend herself was quite effective.  Bravo!  Nicely done. 

Hermione is a bit confused, isn't she?  If I had Snape in hand?  I wouldn't be thinking about Ron Weasley.  Bill or Charlie, maybe, but not Ron. 

Oh wow, didn't see the whole I just want a boyfriend coming.  I didn't think that Hermione would be so shallow.  I feel sorry for both Ron and Severus in the coming chapters.

By the end of this, Hermione had better be sure of her feelings! I can understand that at this stage in her life that she can't be, though. What you doubtless won't reveal is whether or not this ends the same way as it did on Mugglenet.

Poor Hermi. Her worries about her relationship were actually pretty funny. Its a nice change to see her as the one reluctant to move forward in the relationship emotionally. I can see why she would though. It was nice hearing her perspective and to have an update of yours to read so soon! Fantastic and I can't wait for more.

First off, I want to say that this fanfic introduced me to the wonderful world of fanfiction. Long ago I discovered the first few chapters on Mugglenet and was immediately hooked on fanfiction, more specifically Snape/Hermione. I now realize that I use your fic as a standard for other fics I read, but none of them really quite compare. The way yout tie in the story to the plot of the books is genius. Seriously. Not to mention your writing style is spectactlar.I was so excited to find that a whole lot more of this story was posted here. It's my favorite Snape/Hermione fic yet, and I cant wait for your next update!

Okay, now my head hurts. Hermione needs professional counselling. Or alternatively, she can pass Snape on to some more mature and appreciative woman, (I can think of several volunteers, but demand right of first refusal) and play Quidditch with Ron.Gah!

Aww. Angsty, yet still cute. I love that you still have them in character and yet they can still have some tender moments that aren't completely tripe. Excellant, I can't wait for another update.

The more I read of your story the more I'm starting to think Harry is a git. I know he's had issues but who in this series hasn't? Anyway, I'm thrilled you updated and we were treated to some snarky inner dialogue. That made my day and I cannot wait to read more about the blooming relationship of our couple complete with post coital awkwardness in class. Gods but the idea of that man teaching DADA is so damn sexy. Sorry, I got a bit hormonal there,lol. Great job!
