If only he could show the same tenderness towards her and not only towards baby Albus. I hope you have a nice vacation (Mediterranean Sea is gorgeous and the weather is practically always nice).

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

Oh yes, we had a nice vacation. Spent some days at the Gorges de l'Ardèche in France, too (French is the other language I translate from)...

Response from snitchette (Reviewer)

I'm French. Are you too? Because I'm desperatly looking for people who share the same passion for the HP world...

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

Je suis désolée, mais je ne suis pas Française... Mais Français était ma première langue étrangère, et je traduis du Français vers l'Allemand.

You have exactly stated why I don't like Potions Mistress Hermione fics.  Because she has absolutley no intuitiveness for Potions *at* *all*.

Prof M McGonagall

Well translated as always.  I find this particular Severus to be quite annoying and wonder what Hermione sees in him.  Of course, she is wondering the same thing.  I wonder if he ever mellows during the course of the story.  Have a good vacation, my friend!

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

Hi Professor, and thank you very much indeed for your constant support - also for my other translation "Loving the Enemy". I guess Hermione has a very serious "Florence Nightingale Syndrome". Maybe it is a problem of being so young. Intelligent women over 30 usually have had the time to develop enough of a self-preservation instinct in combination with a backbone to just send this kind of men "to countries where the pepper trees blossom" (as we say in Germany). On the other hand, there are loads of abusive relationships all over the world. All those women (and men) must see something in their partners that others don't...

Hiya! I'm loving this story! Just a note Severus asks Hermione"Why do you keep averting my gaze?" It should be either "avoiding my gaze" or "averting your gaze". Keep up the good work. Cheers

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

Thanks for the hint - I'll correct it right away!

Ah! Such horribleness to leave this at this moment! lol!

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

Well, I guess it would have been even more horrible to leave at the end of the previous chapter...

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

Evil, evil place to stop! LOL! But it's a brilliant chapter and you certainly know how to build up the tension. I am sure next chapter will be very well worth the wait.

Oh, no!  What a place to leave us!  This is such great UST.  Snape and Hermione would never flirt the way normal people do, of course not.  Perfect. As always.

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

Ahem - what is an UST please?

Response from emmeline33 (Reviewer)

Unresolved Sexual Tension--I think?  That's the assumption I was operating under, at least...

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

well, don't expect me to know... But I am always glad to learn new terms and expressions ;-)

Argh! Oh, alright everybody deserves a vacation.  I really want to know when Snape is going to cotton on to the fact that Hermione fancies him.

Well, now I'm back and I am sorry to tell you that it is going to take him quite a while...

Severus does have a way with children... and Hermione.  He knows something is going on in that mind of hers, and I'll bet he figures it out soon.  But unless she gives him some sign that she harbors feeling for him, I doubt he will act or react to it.Have a good vacation and come back well rested!Beth

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

The question is - does she want him to figure it out?

I really love this story and how it's unfolding. I can't wait to see how these two are when faced with howling young Potters.

Wow. This is so intense. You build the fear and angst with words with so much ease it seems. And the result is nothing less than brilliant.

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

Thank you very much for your most flattering review. It's easy to be brilliant when one gets such praise in return...

Prof M McGonagall

Well, that was an unusual chapter.  At first I was thinking, she better not be falling in love with him if he really did that to her on top of everything else he's done so far, but then it turned out to be a dream.  I guess Hermione can't help what she dreams.  I thought you made it pretty clear at the end that the whole thing had been a dream.  Since that was your goal, well done!  :-)

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

Hi Professor! It's a shame that there's no such thing as "favourite reader" here on TPP - I love your thoughtful comments (and your loyalty) :-)

Creepy and wonderful.  You've got a very plausible link into Snape's thinking if he survived.  Bleak, stark, desparate. And so sexy!

Very good chapter but I have a awful feeling that this is going to be very one-sided and that will break her heart.

I've been reading this for quite some time and feel a bit bad that this is my first review, but I just wanted to say thanks for translating this story. And I really enjoy this fic, which at first I did not think the plot would be plausible, but the author has proven me very wrong. I'm eagerly waiting to see how the relationship between Hermione and Snape will develop.

Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)

It makes me feel good that my translation has finally managed to give you a bad conscience about not reviewing :-)
