Calm down, the next chapter has been translated and is being beta-read right now!

My heart went out to Severus when he heard that Ginny was pregnant with a little girl that would be named Lily:"Did you know about it?" Snape asked all of a sudden, eyeing Hermione suspiciously. "What?" "Did you know that they were expecting?" he jogged her memory in an impatient tone. "Oh, I… yes. Ginny told me when she asked me to babysit," she said quietly. "I understand," he murmured and sat down on the couch, not paying her any attention. It seems as though Severus' feelings may have been hurt that Ginny told Hermione but not himself. His "I understand," sounded like disappointment that he was the last person to know, taht Ginny had not confided in him her reason for asking him to babysit. And then to find out that the apple of his eye, little Albus Severus, had eaten a Cullis Fruit had to be the worst thing he had heard in years. Thank Merlin that he reacted quickly to Apperate himself and Hermione back to Hogwarts!!!I can't wait for the next update. I'm thoroughly enjoying this story!Beth

Yes, I am sure that a great deal of his unpleasant personality is due to his low self-esteem (at least where non professional matters are concerned). It's kind of "hurt them before come near enough to hurt you"...

Oh gads, no! Please let Severus be able to do something!

He usually comes to the rescue for potions that "can only be brewed by a selected few potions masters in the world", doesn't he?

oh MY gosh this is the perfect line "Because this man is a person you would not choose if you wanted to be happy," Isnt that the truth? I can see why she is avoiding the relationship. It sure as hell isnt going to be easy.

When has Hermione ever been tempted by easy problems?

Well. If the boy wasn't in such danger I would appreciate more the thought of a half-naked Snape. You had better update soon or else ;)

Kid do have a way of getting into things. I remember my eldes took a bite of banana peel. I called poison control and thank God it was non toxic. But it certainly was scary.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
As I said in an earlier review: people who don't have children of their own cannot possibly imagine what a creative and highly intelligent kid can get him/herself into. "Ceiling fans are not strong enough to lift a nine year old boy wearing a batman costume and sugar tends to cause a terrible noise when inserted into a car's gas tank" (I read that somewhere...)

Oh my what an evil cliffie! Don't you dare letting little Albus Severus die, he is the one thing that have made Severus look somewhat human, and I am willing to believe that he actually care for that little boy. Not to mention, a child dying is horrible no matter what. I am glad Hermione reacted as quickly as she did, hopefully she was quick enough. I also feel sorry for Hagrid, he will probably never forgive himself for this. I guess the wards didn't recognice such small children?I have been rather annoyed by Severus many times during this story, I wouldn't be surpriced if I am again, but I did actually feel for him when Harry and Ginny revealed that they were having a daugther. Not only do I guess that he quickly realised that the girl would be named Lily, but much more than the boys will she be a reminder of the family and children he never got to have with Harrys mother. I had hoped he would have shown signs of getting over the past by now, but he is still rather immature in his need for living on memories of what he never had. Comfortable probably, but not very practical if one whish for a better future. Do update again soon!

I guess you've got one thing wrong here: James did not go near the bushes, he found the glass with the dried berries in Hagrid's kitchen (Hagrid went to the kitchen to get them and came back with the boys in tow. As James is quite the intelligent little fellow, he saw Hagrid take fruit out of the jar and assumed that they must be something good...). And one more thing: I guess you will love the next chapter.
Response from Sampdoria (Reviewer)
Ah, I made the assumption that the berries were from the bushes since the the berries in the jar were dried. Since it wasn't said that it was dried berries, I automaticly assumed it was fresh berries. Then again, fresh berries would have been rather diffecult to carry around in your pocket I assume:-))

That has to be the most evil cliffhanger ever!!! Please give us some reassurance that Albus will be alright. He has to be, Snape and, of course, the others would be to devastated for the story to go on...

Give Hermione some credit - after the initial shock, she reacted quite quickly.

Oh, no! Poor Albus! And how terrifying it must be for Severus to only be hearing those words and not know what is actually going on.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
I guess the state Hermione is in tells the whole story.

Wow. I could totally see that coming. A weepy Hagrid is not going to be fun.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Please excuse me if I say - who cares about Hagrid now?
Response from blue artemis (Reviewer)
Oh, no need to excuse you. I agree with you. I was just thinking that on top of this possible tragedy, which was a typical Hagrid thing, he is going to be making a nuisiance of himself.

Someone should teach Hagrid that poisons should be kept in a locked cabinet!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. Not only the writing - and the uterrly memorable, outstanding imagery - but the excellent translation makes this piece an absolute favorite. I'm a little miserable that it's a WIP but I will definitely be following it with eagerness.Thank you so much to everyone who put the effort into this - writers, translators, and betas in both languages! What an awesome creative team to whom I cannot help but be very deeply grateful. This Snape is also so intriguing.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Oh wow - I will have to send Marisol a link to this review! She has not been posting a chapter for the German original for quite a while, maybe I can lure her into being creative... Thank you so much!
