Reviews for The Godfather
LOL Ron in all his insecurities still felt like he needed hermione's approval of his girlfriend? Silly boy. Celia handled herself quite well, considering the company. Severus showing up and the bittering between them was funny. Hermione really did put her foot in her mouth on that one. Your Severus is so enjoyable.

Enjoyable? You're the first to think that...
Okay Mr. Man of Mystery 'fess up! Where have you been?
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
If it's not Hermione's business, it certainly isn't yours!
Hum. If I had to guess, I'd say that Severus's little trip was of the soul-searching variety. If that's true, then it looks like he was successful. Great chapter!
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
The German story is a few chapters farther along and I haven't seen any clue on this, so maybe we'll never know...
Another moment together where he let his mask slip. Nice.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
you are catching up on things, aren't you?
Response from beaweasley2 (Reviewer)
Well, if this story wasn't so intriguing, I'd be working on my own WIP - but I can stop! I jsut have to know what's next..... and loving it all the while! On to the next chapter!
Silly man, not giving a thought to anyone else. Poor guy has been so underappreciated for so long. I wish he would do more than just utter cryptic messages and stalk off!! No wonder he calls everyone dunderheads... he is the definition of one! Look in the wizarding dictionary and there's his picture under the definition. *Severus Snape: Classic Dunderhead*
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
While that may be true, I guess it's just another tiny little chip of his armor that came off.
awww i know that feeling...it usually involves cupcakes...or ramen...sometimes carrots and tomatoes!rarely still...men (yum! >.> lol)
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Carrots and tomatoes? Chocolate, I'd say...
Response from keske (Reviewer)
mmmmm chocolate
this brought tears to my eyes, for hermione and how frantic she must have been and for severus who was so oblivious that anyone would have cared where he was. wonderful update. thanks so much
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
The deepness of the man's oblivion is just unbelievable, isn't it?
Did Severus just say what I thought he said? Seeing Hermione and her worrying about him made him realize that he missed her! How cool is that!C'mon girl! Go after him before he gets in his house! This is a fabulous chapter.Beth
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Well, you know about the "two steps forward, 1 15/16 steps back" approach, don't you?
Why on Earth didn't she send him a Patronus? Or Harry? Or Ginny?
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
He had an untraceability spell on his person, remember?
Interesting chapter and I'm glad Severus didn't blow himself up or something, but I don't understand the purpose of this chapter. Will it make sense after reading the next?
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Just as I said in an earlier review – it involves one more bit of soul-searching for Severus. It just didn't occur to him before that anyone might miss him or be worried about his well-being, so he has something to mull over now.
That is all to short chapter for what I expected , but all the same sweat and touching whith Snape words in the end. I really hope that Hermione will follow him indoors and demand explanation. He really owed to her, because he obviously is come to content whith him self , whath he need. And if that is what I suspect, he will be happy in the end, and Hermione also. I will be realy happy also. Werry good chapter . I can wait for next.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
While it sure isn't going to be all wine and roses from now on, I think that it is very important for Severus to learn that there are indeed people who do care about him.
It is quite obvious Severus panicked he did not know what to think about the relationship blossoming between himself and Hermione. I understand the need to escape, but I think he will find that now he has even more to deal with. How will he handle the feelings that Hermione's feeling, reactions and outburst are sure to envoke?
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
I don't even think that he tried to escape, did some soul-searching trip or whatever. It might have been a business trip even. It just never ocurred to him that there might be anyone interested in his whereabouts or his well-being. The concept of people worrying about him is a totally new one and so he just didn't think to contact them.
Poor Severus. What a shock it must be to understand that there are those who really do care about him.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
But a positive shock, I guess. Just imagine: he is about 40 years old and nobody ever cared whether he was there or not.
Evil cliffhanger:) And an excellent chapter! I can't wait to see what happens next. And I love the way you are writing the characters of Severus and Hermione. They seem very natural and appropriate given their circumstances.Warm regards,Fizzabella
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Thanks for the praises! Although it almost hurts to see such destroyed souls, it does seem realistic, yes.
I sure hope she has the sense to follow him!
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
I think it would be better to leave him alone. He needs to wrap his mind around the fact that there are people who care about him. It's like a whole new world, you know...
Response from ClayPotter (Reviewer)
When you put it that way... I guess sometimes with Snape you need to let him decide so it is his idea. He responds better when he "thinks" he's in control. But, then again, most people do.
Oh, I'm glad that they are talking again. I really wish/hope that they form a friendship.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Way to go, darling - you ain't seen nothing yet ;-)
I loved Harry's responce and the reaction of the Healer at St. Mungo's. It was great that the other apothecaries wanted his potions now! Whoot! One way to squash a bug.
So, after her little tantrum, she avoided seeing him out of guilt and pity. Ha! I fully expect Rita to get comeuptance over her article, but I doubt Severus cares one way or another...
Oh good lord! She really let loseon him and gave him a piece of her mind. and his responce - hit me like a brick.
Geeze, she was only, okay, eavesdropping ... He really did take it badly didnt' he. And the way he proved his point was brutal, simplistic, but will really make her steam, won't it?
Beautifully done, the expressiveness of Severus' reaction to the picture. Oh, but he's going to be cross with Hermione for eavsdropping.
Oh wow, his assessment of her abilities and shortcomings was so dead on accurate! The way he nailed her academic habits and clarified his position. Very well done, and so Snape like. Hermione's reaction was spot on perfect.
Severus holding a baby woudl indeed be a sight to see. I loved his comments on Luna.
OH, the hardships of career vs family life with kids. It's hard wehn one partner wants kids and the other doesn't. You showed the breakup between Hermione and Ron well. You know, I'd never know English wasn't your first language. This is beautifully written.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Thank you!
Whoot! He showed up! Cool. Poor Neville, I hope he was all right with it.
