Reviews for The Godfather
I've been waiting for this for quite sometime now. Let's just hope he won't back away from it right after. One never knows with Severus.

That's right.

I would not have guessed that the tension would be worse AFTER Albus was better. I love your take on the Unspeakables, I've never read anything like it. Very interesting!
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
*grins* but the quality of the tension has changed, at least... And this definition of the Unspeakables does indeed provide a motivation for Severus!

i have to agree with Clay Potter, your Severus has not become all soft and sweet like some people write him. he is sad and lonely, as I really would expect him to have been if he'd survived. an excellent chapter. I am glad Hermione is honest with him. and that she went after what she wants!

Yes, he truly shows his cactus-like nature...

I really enjoyed this chapter. especially the part in Severus's house when his true colours show, even as he strives to be unemotional. he plcaes a blanket over the sleeping Hermione and grows her hair back. He 'just happens' to make enough extra dinner for Hermione and James. It is very sweet.-Pookah (I have been reviewing this story under the name Wahoo, but it is me! Wahoo and Wesleyanne is the name I share with my daughter)

Thank you! Yes, he is desperately trying to keep his grumpy demeanour...

Oh, that was lovely! I fall more and more in love with this story-- with your versions of Severus and Hermione-- every chapter. I especially loved the metaphor you used to describe their first kiss- an unfamiliar fruit, neither good nor bad... simply unique, and for that undeniable reason, addictive. That was beautiful! Thanks.

Thanks for the review! I totally agree - Marisol has a very unique way of describing such situations in unusual words that make the readers feel as if they were a part of it.

I must say that I really enjoy this fanfiction, however it really annoys me that you stop a chapter before it really starts. Do you do this on purpose to torture your audience? This is the first I've written a review for you, but I do want to say that I like this story. Thanks for a good if short read.

As I wrote before: Marisol is extremely fond of cliff hangers and more often than not, her chapters end with one.

Oh my, oh my, oh my. I just found this story this morning. I am glad that I didn't fine it months ago when you first started to post it because waiting for the chapters would have driven me wild! UST is my favorite thing, but I don't like to wait too long for it to be resolved. You have Hermione and Severus pegged perfectly. Some writers, myself included, tend to let Severus mellow with age, but your version holds true to the way JKR intended him to be if he had survived. My hat is off to you.I await your next installment with great anticipation.

I hope it's all right with you - I just copied your review into the review section of the German HP Fan Fic site as some kind of summary of all the English reviews so far. Thank you so much!
Response from ClayPotter (Reviewer)
Not a problem. I'm honoured.

So, here I was thinking that things were just going to go on slowly when Wham! Kissing! (Yay!) Slowly would have been nice, don't get me wrong, but the fact that Hermione had the nerve to kiss him and he seems to like it is quite exciting.Once again, thank you for taking the time to translate this. It's a great story.

Now THAT"S what I'm talking about!!!!When Hermione kissed Severus, I literally hollered "YES!" It's a good thing no one else was here or I would have surely drawn a crowd. Then when she started rubbing his arm, I thought, "Um hum, um hum..." But when Severus buried his fingers in her hair... well, I just melted. *Sigh* Nice. Very nice. You get lots of points.Next chapter, please. Beth

Yes, a man could lose his fingers in that hair so he must have really wanted to do that! I'm glad ALbus made it and that these two are learning to play nicely....

??? The dangers of Hermione's bushy mop??? Would be quite the plot: men with their fingers stuck in it...

Well, it's about time!!! Yay for Severus and Hermione! I am sure it will not be all roses after this, but at least they are taking action! I really do like this story, and I am looking forward to the next chapter!

yummy! i liked this chapter a lot, from hermione's blushing uncertainty but being bold anyway, to severus's opening up. very believable with them both being kind of inept and all. i hope there will be more soon! one typo - "For the first time ever, ot seemed he didn't know what to say." "ot" obviously should be "it." :)

Ooooo finally. I knew there was a sad, lonely Severus undernearth that wretched, prickly exterior.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Oh yes. He is like a cactus - very long thorns on the outside, but a soft core.
