Reviews for The Godfather
Powerful spell that! :)
*sniff* *honk!* dang, woman! you made me cry. what an awesome (in the real sense of the word) chapter. it's so not going to be easy. he's been the way he is for so long but i see hope, too. thanks so much, love. you rule and reign!
(me blowing kisses)
Moved me to tears with this line: "Please stop hurting yourself." I hope he can. I hope he can let go of the past and realize that people care for him, for his wellbeing without any selfish reasons. Oh, rarely am I so invested in a fic.
~hugs hermione and severus tightly~
Great chapter, I love how Severus is finally talking to Hermione, his feelings and even asked for help.
What an absolutely beautiful and powerful moment. The door has finally been opened.
Bless Severus, if only he could explain in some sort of way what he is feeling and not just his feelings for Hermione. But Hermione will get him through this though and drag them out (I hope).
Great update.
I have chills. That was one of the most amazing "Hermione making Severus remove his head from his own arse" scenes I've ever read!!!!! (No disrespect to our beloved Potions Master, bien sur.)
Wooo. I had to read it twice because I kept tearing up. =]
That was lovely.
What decision? AHHH! Evil cliffie. Do write again soon.

As per today (2009/03/23) the next chapter is no. 22 in the queue... - and chapter 32 has been posted already!
Heck of a place to leave us. I can't decide if I want her to walk away or finally wear him down enough to start a relationship.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Oh, but she can't walk away now, can she? She would have had much more reason in earlier chapters!
So? Where did he go? Obviously he's all right, but yes, everyone whose in his life was worried about him. Why didn't he realize that he is now part of a family? Oh, I can't wait until Ginny sees him!Or Harry!Or Al - even Al woudl know that something was wrong and would have been a bit worried...So, Give it up Severus, YOU are cared for, cared about and loved.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Takes a lot of getting used to these things...
Oh, how sweet. Poor little James, Of course he didn't mean it. LOL
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
Yes, that's how children are.
WHoot, Dumbledore. What great words of wisdom.Odd that it would be in Severus' old classroom where Severus and Hermione would meet to talk. He opens up to her and I bet in the next minute he will shove her out again. Man, that man is broken and lost. Too bad.

This cactus has huge thorns indeed.
Woa, bravo Ginny! Yes, I see now, but Hermione should keep herself in check and cool off. Let herself gain back her strength before facing him again. Let him come crawiling....
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
It will take until chapter 31 before he does anything akin to crawling.
Hermione, give it up girl - it was a one night stand and meant nothing to the guy. You are better off going back to work, writting a book on 'Understanding Why Miggles Won't See You (it'll be a best seller, I promise), start knitting hats and socks for Christmas (Ron would simply love a pair), taking up painting, start a herb garden, and breeding hippogriffs. That should get him off your mind.Ginny! Whoot - you go girl! What a great friend she is. So glad that she was around to help pull Hermione back on her feet again. And Severus watch out! Ginny is gonna step in!
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
*giggle* I loved the "herb garden and Hippogriffs" part...
Oh, Harry's reaction at finding Hermione in the house was so realistic. Hermione's hurt and confusion when she realized that she was alone was well done. I'd have left, but then the extremely painful interchange between Severus and Hermione wouldn't have happened. But man I feel sorry for her - her world just fell out from under her feet. And his words were far more apinful than any knife could be.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
If reviews could kill, he would have been tarred, feathered and quartered at that point.
Um, wow, nice lemons... very seductive and passionate.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
A little unexpected, though...
From a lie to a kiss. Whoot! To a real kiss. yipeeee
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
I guess that's what everyone felt upon reading this one.
WHAT? Oh, no you didn't! This is the worst evil cliffie I have ever read!!! --> on forward
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
It's good you didn't find the story earlier, when you would have waited a while for the next one...
OH, good they brewed the potion. I hope the little babe will be all right?
Aw, the family reunion around the hospital bed! Man, that Healer had a bur up her bum! Good move, Hermione!
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
You took advantage of the weekend to catch up, eh?
Response from beaweasley2 (Reviewer)
Yep!
That was an interesting update. I wonder Severus has been. Something to ponder. Look forward to more.

.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
the answer - or a very educated guess - is in the next chapter.
I think Severus is protesting too much. Perhaps he is so afraid of what he is feeling he needs to retreat a bit.
Response from Muggline (Author of The Godfather)
I finally managed to put the next chapter at the end of the validation line, so you can see for yourself, soon.

Another great chapter. I love seeing the flashes of Severus' caustic humour.

So do I...
