Reviews for The Godfather
When Severus first told Hermione that he was moving away my heart dropped to my feet, but my hopes began to rise when he spoke of the changes he knew he had to make if he was going to leave the past behind.
Yes, Spinner's End held no good memories for him, no joy was to be found there. His thoughts on his responsibility to Albus warmed my soul, and his reply to Hermione when she asked if they would see his new home soon cracked me up! Pure Severus.
He will be "in contact soon."
This was such a welcomed chapter. Very heartwarming.

The Sensum Mitto was the perfect spell to allow Severus to feel what Hermione felt for him, and I had tears in my eyes by the end of the chapter.
I can't wait to see what awaits our hero and heroine as he seeks to turn "the page, open a new chapter and leave the past behind."
Wonderful chapter!

awwww
That's so great for him. I'm glad he finally realised that he could have a life, a real one if he decided to. I hope Marisol's mother will get better and that she can post the remaining chapters soon.
Good for Severus making the effort to change. I also would expect the one step forward two step back approach, but I guess he can surprise you.
Looking forward to the next chapter.
I hope she's not getting her hopes up for nothing.
I am so excited to see the possibility of more for Severus. Yes, his affection toward Albus makes him feel a responsibility to provide him a more stable role model, but Severus also owes it to himself. I think perhaps he is also thinking that if he has a chance with Hermione then he must have more for her as well. The silly thing is she loves him as he is. For her he need not change, but only for himself.
Very funny! I love the snarky Severus!!!
He's healing a bit at a time, and that's wonderful. =] It means the changes being affected are more likely to last.
Lovely as always!
I liked the chapter, but I did see one typo. "I am moving away." she said calmly.
Other than that great chapter.
I do hope Severus has feelings for Hermione. Not just friendship.
Enjoying this so much.
Hope you Get better soon!
lovely story!!!
amazing job with the translation!!!
thank you!!!

he had never before had anyone who wanted nothing but the best for him and his life. Nobody who had cared about his feelings... nobody to offer a helping hand and help him get back on the way he had lost so long ago.
And herein lies my problem with how Rowling treated Snape. She calls him a "deeply horrible person" but really, when did he *ever* know any better?
I actually ike the idea that Tobias was edcuated. I know it's canon that he was blue collar to his core, but frankly so many fics are written where he's blue collar and abusive and hates his wife and child (even if it IS canon) that it's become cliche. At least your story gives it a plausible background that doesn't have him just being a dumb brute!
That's one of the best thing I've read lately. All this hope make me happy in a point you can't even begin to imagine. Thank you so much for your brilliant skills.
sniff sniff sniff... that was intense. clever spell - it must have been so overwhelming for him. It will be interesting to see what happens now - not necessarily the romantic part but how the relationship builds and deepens!
I'm afraid of what she's up to. I hope nothing too harsh towards Severus.
OMG What was that? Is he going to comit some foolish act or did he just realised that he missed them all, and that he too cared. I hope for the latter.
How sweet an ending. I'm glad thay had found some sort of truce.
Wow! I had tears of my own after reading this! What a wonderful story. Unconditional love is an amazing thing. Its healing powers are undeniable. I can hardly wait for more. :)

I am so glad you all liked it!Due to a very painful inflammation of my shoulder and my carpal nerve, my right arm is kind of paralysed right now, so I won't be able to answer the reviews until next wwek... sorry
Response from ClayPotter (Reviewer)
I'm so sorry that you have shoulder and carpal problems! I know from personal experience how much those types of things can hurt. I hope you feel better soon. Don't worry about us, take care of yourself!
Wow... what a brilliant update and so worth the wait. Now nothing is hidden.
Whew! That was intense! What a great chapter. Great spell too, and it showed Severus everything, not just a few of her feelings towards him. It's so nice to see him give in a little bit. Can't wait to see what she does now!
THAT was incredibly emotional. I'm actually crying. If that doesn't inspire him to move forward then nothing will.
This was a really powerful chapter. I love how you had Hermione reveal to Severus (the only way he would see) what she felt and expected.
Yay for Hermione not backing down without a fight. Snape was being too stubborn, so she just decided to go to the heart of the matter (literally and figuratively, come to think of it). Such true Hermione behavior.
Looking forward to the next chapter. =)
Well that was one hellva spell. My favorite line was trying to convince the moon to stay away at night. Just beautiful!
