I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.
Admins' Note: Livvy6 died suddenly on February 22, 2012, leaving behind her husband, six-year-old daughter, and seventeen stories well-loved by the TPP community. All who knew her—including those in Harry Potter fandom and all of us, here—are richer for having known her.
Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.

Aw, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside! A well-deserved happy ending for our favorite couple, and perhaps just possibly a little story or two about Erik the Parseltongue someday...(hey, I can dream can't I?) Thanks for working so hard on this for us, and I hope that RL calms down for you soon!

Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed the ride :)Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
It was a lovely story. Complex but understandable with a good combination of action adventure and romance with lots of suspense throughout.
LOL. She always did mother those two anyway! :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
She sure did!Thanks!Livvy
Seems that she wants to forgive him, but feels she would be betraying Severus if she did. :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Actually, no. She feels like she's betraying Severus by going to bring Sirius food and pass info. She has enough anger with him just between the two of them without Severus involved. Thanks!Livvy
wonderful chapter!!!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you!Livvy
I wasn't ready for the story to end! The ending felt too abrupt--like a cliffhanger! But I loved the whole story!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh, it isn't over. There is one more chapter in the queue. That's the end. I hope you will like it!Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
That was wonderful. "I believe it's called a felony." What a line!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! I heard it once-but I couldn't remember where! It was just SO Severus! Thanks!Livvy
Hmmm. Seems like Harry is getting too close to the truth for comfort. Poor Severus. To have so much emotion an worries raging around inside him, and not to be able to confide in the one person he does trust... No wonder he is having anger issues!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It is difficult for Severus and for Harry, suspicions will get worse. Thanks!Livvy
Obviously, Hermione needs to keep fighting Voldemort. I see why Hermione wants this distraction, excitement and the need to be shown trustworthy. I see she needs to show those who don't know her they are wrong about her. I just don't understand choosing something so at odds with Severus' situation unless she goes under cover. I can't see her being an outted, known Auror. If she played her cards right she could live with her husband for more than one freaking school year. He needs her. I'm sure they'll get to see each other on the sly now, but it's kind of silly to me. Maybe I just don't have my priorities straight, but I think she needs to think about Severus' emotional needs more than she does. Of everyone in this fight, he's living in the worst Hell than anyone else. None of the other Order members face regular torture and the pull of Dark Magic all around them. None of them have to watch sickening and traumatic mayhem on a regular basis. None of them are forced to behave in ways that are at odds with who they really are, doing things they find repugnant and that damage them emotionally and psychologically. What Severus has to do all the time would be just as damaging as Hermione's near rape. None of the other Order members have no real friends they can trust, to talk to. Severus needs to debrief in a way that isn't reporting to Dumbledore on a regular basis to survive this intact. More like a huge exhale than spilling your guts; like Hermione gets to do with Molly and Tonks. Another issue I wonder about is, now that she's out of the closet, why doesn't she take an aging potion to go back to her real age? I see advantages to having a young body, but she isn't a kid. It seems a little weird to me not to ditch the disguise, now. I'm sure you'll find ways to make it come in handy, but Hermione doesn't know that yet.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
There is no way she could live at Spinner's End. Severus is on probation after the marriage came out. Now they have to play the estranged couple and against each other, having chosen opposite sides. Should Hermione sit and wait at the Burrow, waiting for someone to save her? She sees it as "My husband is fighting to end this war, why not me?" It would be better for her to surround herself with Aurors, who better to protect her if something goes pear-shaped? Hermione has always been a "doer", not one to sit back and let things just fall as they may. She is fighting for her marriage as well as for her freedom. An Aging Potion would have to be created to counter act the De-aging potion Severus made with the glitter from the bell jar in the Time Room. It is what it is. Besides, she would only draw more attention to herself by such a radical change. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
I would think that Hermione becoming an Auror wouldn't be conducive to Severus' safety. For his sake I really think she needs to stay under the radar and not do anything in particular to draw Voldemort's wrath. Snape will be the one to pay for it. She should apprentice at the school perhaps and make it appear she is helping Severus in his efforts as a spy. How can Severus appear loyal to Riddle and live with a wife who fights him openly? If she's going to be an Auror she should at least stay under cover. I'm surprised she didn't get reamed for not doing what she had told Luna to do in the first place. She should have had the Order gather at the Ministry to meet them from the 1st. Not trying to be mean or anything. Last, why didn't at least Ginny say goodbye to her? She saved their lives at the Ministry.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I think Ginny and most of the others are in shock over what they had experienced. Ginny, thinking she knew Hermione, saw her cast an Unforgivable and nearly choke Bellatrix Lestrange to death. Knowing that your friend is capable of that type of Dark magic is not something you can just slough off. I think there is fear, disbelief, and confusion. People sometimes just need time to process. As for Snape, there will no longer be living with Hermione. He must openly denounce his wife and now will stay the summer at Spinner's End with Wormtail to report any behavior of disloyalty to Voldemort-and Snape knows it too. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
I have asked this question since the book came out. Now there is even a better reason to ask. Why the Hell didn't they tell Severus they were going to the ministry????? In the book none of these people were married to him, but they still knew he was an Order member and that Dumbledore trusted him! They also knew that Kreature wasn't trust worthy. He had no reason to obey those kids. The elf didn't belong to any of them and wasn't therefore required to tell them the truth. He would love to send Harry's Mudblood friend off to meet Voldemort. It wasn't sensible in the book and is even less sensible now. Now there's just no excuse! Hermione should have found a way to let Severus know what was going on before she went chasing after Harry! Our Hermione knows only Harry or Tom can get the prophesy. She has to know that's exactly were Riddle wants him to go. She should have put a petrificas spell or something on him and run to get Severus. She's smart enough to think of some reason to tell the others to hold on while she did something important before they could leave. Instead, she's telling them to hurry up. She's in soooo much trouble with her husband now! Even if he's glad Sirius gets killed he would have known how to get the rest of the Order to rescue him if it was real without she and a bunch of kids going after him. I'm almost afraid to see what he does when he gets Hermione alone.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Basically, they didn't tell Snape because they didn't trust him to do anything since it was Sirius who needed saving. Thanks!Livvy
Response from breastlady (Reviewer)
I see your point. They did know he hated Sirius.
Boy-Oh-Boy! A lot has happened in this chapter!the missing Minister of Magic has showed up at Hogwarts talking like a maniac, the impostor Moody showed up just in time to prevent his father from talking to Dumbledore, Viktor Krum gets knocked out cold, Harry has a "Voldemort dream" during Divination class, Hermione and Ron are having a hard time keeping Harry focused on learning the spells he will need for the final round of the tournament, and Severus is so worried about the imminent return of the Dark Lord that he hasn't had a decent night's sleep in ages. Then to top it all off, Severus informs Hermione that Moody lied when he said that Severus had told him that Crouch, Sr. was on the grounds of Hogwarts, and Hermione tells Severus what she suspects/knows about Moody really being Barty Crouch, Jr.Livvy, you must be worn to a frazzle. I know I am. This is another great chapter. Thanks!Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! Just FYI Fudge is the Minister of Magic. Crouch works for the ministry in another capacity, can't remember right now. But, yes, it's all coming down to the wire and after the next chapter, Hermione's life will change dramatically! Thanks!Livvy
I'm looking forward for the next chapters! I'm rather impatient! I really want to know what's going to happen, so I hope you can update soon! I don't know if I have reviewed before, but this story is great!.. and I keep reading the previous chapters (I love young Severus) Chapter 13 is one of the best!..
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! I have Chapter 42 in the queue, and it will be the last of the canon chapters. Starting with CHapter 43 will be another change for Hermione and Severus. Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad you are enjoying the old chapters.Livvy
Excellent chapter and sorry rl kept you busy... this may sound a little..ungrateful but because it took so long could the next update only take half a week?
Just a thought, wonderful chapter as usual!! =)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I have the next chapter in the queue. The admins work really hard to get through as best they can. So, probably another week.Livvy
Hermione is becoming transparent to Harry in regards to Snape. She's doing more than crushing on him.Captain Ahab? Too funny.Another great chapter, Livvy.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! And you are right! Harry is going to be finding out more than Snape or Hermione wants him too, and it's not going to be pretty. Thanks!Livvy
well another interesting chapter. At least Hermione finally figured out who Moody is. Please update soon.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Very soon! Then after this next chapter, things will take a different turn for Hermione. Thanks!Livvy
I'd hardly calling it 'crushing' Harry'lol. Great chapter. Look forward to more as ever :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! Yes, definitely!Thanks,Livvy
So close, yet not. Has Hermione looked thru the Foe Glass yet, even in curiosity? Hang in there, Severus! Thanks for the update.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
No, she is to stay away as much as she can, but also keep Harry safe. She's not a champion, so she can't go with him there, but she keeps her tabs on him during the day. Looking into the Foe Glass at this point could be very dangerous. She doesn't want to get into a confrontation with someone she doesn't know. But yes, very soon! Thanks!Livvy
Well, I can't wait until she turns 16 to see Harry and Ron's faces. LOL. That will be well worth the wait.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh, sorry to disappoint, but it's going to be a secret marriage. At least during fifth year, but she won't be living in Griffindor tower, so Harry is going to get mighty suspicious. Well, I hope as you read it and see it unfold that you will like it.Thanks,Livvy
