I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.
Admins' Note: Livvy6 died suddenly on February 22, 2012, leaving behind her husband, six-year-old daughter, and seventeen stories well-loved by the TPP community. All who knew her—including those in Harry Potter fandom and all of us, here—are richer for having known her.
Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.

OMG, THIS WAS AN AWESOME CHAPTER!!!!!!!!! I truly loved it. You hit all of the emotional highs and lows. I like how you have Severus trying to protect and coddle Hermione now that he can. I also liked how you have Harry taking the blame for his subborness. I have been looking for this chapter for the last few days knowing that it would be posted soon. I hope that they can finally have the life that they both have fought for very soon.

Harry can be a stubborn idiot, but at the end of the day, he isn't above swallowing his pride and making up with people he loves. I'm glad you liked it all! Thanks!Livvy
I just found this story this week, and have slowly made my way through it.I love it. I love that you kept most of the major events the same but reworked them with Hermione's time travel. I thought that was a brilliant way to write this story.

Thank you very much. I hope you enjoy the ending. Not too far now! Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Wow. I like Severus look forward to see it demonstrated in the final three chapters.

I'm looking forward to having fun now that the war is over ;)Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Hey, Rosmerta hasn't received a pardon! I am glad Lucius was believed and that Harry was quick to retract his earlier claims. I dread their digging up Serena's grave; it may be very decomposed by now. Glad the Kingsley was welcoming, but as Severus says, I'll believe it when I see it. Thanks for the new chapter!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I hope the next chapter will be to your liking. Things will take time in the wizarding world to get everyone sorted out-who is guilty and who is innocent. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
I'm glad to see things worked out! I can't wait for the next update!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I'm just waiting for my beta to get back with the next chapter and I'll put it in the queue! Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Does it sound too good to be true? Their personal acquaintances are still ne measure for the public in general. But its a promissing start.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
The next chapter will answer some of your concerns. But I think after being burned, Severus and Hermione will keep a bit of distance just to make sure. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Oh, wonderful chapter! Finally it seems as if things are going well for Sev and Hermione. They've been through so much. I'm looking forward to the last few chapters :-)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! Yes, it is finally time for Severus and Hermione to get the happiness they deserve after so long. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
I agree with Severus about believing it when it happens in real life. Oh I would like to see the grovelling Harry should do. If ever that would happen of course.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, the next chapter will see how the wizarding world keeps its word. As for Harry, he will show up soon. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
I hope Kingsley's take is right, As always, a fabulous chapter. I thought the scene when Severus asked about the burial and Andromeda had to tell him how few rituals could be observed was touching.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! I'm glad you liked how I decided to handle Severus finding out about Serena. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
well done! I'm so glad they're back together! And so far NO SNAKE BITE! LOL. YAY.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! Yes, no snake bite for Severus :)Thanks for reviewing,Livvy
Great chapter, as always, but I do have a question. Perhaps you already covered this in one of the previous chapter, and I’m just too thick to have noticed, but can Hermione take another potion (like she did already) and return to her thirty-something year old body? Or now that she has gone through the process she must live it out even though mentally she is her actual age? Is there any way for her body to catch up with her brain again?
Oh, and I can’t wait for her sixteen birthday to roll around. I can imagine that things will get VERY HOT, but I can’t help but cringe at the fact that Victor Krum is just around the corner. I don’t think Snape is going to take very well the attention he’s going to lavish upon Hermione. Oh-Oh!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Great question! Sure Hermione could take an Aging Potion. That's already a standard potion, I don't know how long it lasts though, if she would have to take it like Polyjuice, you know, every hour? But the fact is that she has to be in her true time line. Which means Hermione must be fourteen at this particular time and place. But inside, she is still the adult Hermione, who remembers growing up with Severus and everything with the Slytheriens and Lily.I don't know if she permanently could catch up with herself. No one wants to fiddle with time more than it has. SO, Hermione will always remain younger than Severus, but inside, they are contemporaries. At least, that is how I decided to work out the plot.Oh, yes. Viktor Krum. *laughs evilly* That's not going to go over too well with Severus, but you'll see what leads up to her accepting his invite to the Yule Ball. The fur will fly with this one! Thanks!Livvy
Identity cards with red "M"s and green "H"s sounds like the Voldemort's version of the Ultimate Solution. The fates of the Muggle-born and the Half-Bloods seem to be merging in an eerily grotesque way. I'm sure this just strengthens Hermione's resolve to find Severus and leave as soon as she can. I'm glad that she heard from the new arrivals that Severus had been doing everything he could to save the students. Portkeys! What a great solution to a very thorny problem. When word came for them to go to the Hogshead so they could get into Hogwarts I didn't quite know how I felt about it. I completely agree with Hermione's decision not to fight. After all, how many times is she supposed to take a kick in the teeth and bounce back for more? When Michael Corner rounded on Hermione in the Room of Requirement and accused Severus of not lifting a finger to help a student and then just running away... and then Harry-Bloody-Potter said he ran away to warn Voldemort... well, I wanted to slap the crap out of both of them. Why would Hermione want to "cast her pearls before swine?" At least she set them all straight with a scathing recounting of the truth.
When they were all in the Great Hall, and Minerva spoke to her about fighting on the grounds with the Aurors, I thought "now she's done it!" And true to her Gryffindor courage, Hermione pretty much told her she could stuff it. "...I will be damned if I will shed one more drop of blood for this war. I am going to get my husband, and you all can go to hell!" Right on, Hermione! However, I do think that Hermione will fight to protect Severus, but for now I think Harry is own his own... but maybe if she sees that he is about to be killed before he can kill Voldemort, she might cast a curse or two to protect even him. But I'll bet she gives him an earful!Great chapter, m'dear. Can't wait for the reunion.Beth

Thanks! Yes, a lot of reviewers have mentioned a final stand for Harry. There will be another meeting between Hermione and Harry. Hermione and Severus up next chapter :)Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Next chapter please!!! Can't wait.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! My betas has it. It should be up real soon! Thanks,Livvy
I've got to agree with you there. How can Hermione be expected to fight? There comes a time when a girl's got to look out for her own interests and everyone else can, go take a flying leap, as my mother says. :p Phenomenal work, as always. Can't wait to read what happens next.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks. I felt it was more realistic for Hermione to tell everyone where they could go and get Severus to run far, far away from there. Of course, there will be all sorts of emotions that will be coming out once they are together at last - next chapter! Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
This was another great chapter. I am glad that Hermione is standing up for herself. I have gone back and am re-reading this from the very beginning and Harry is alot like Lily. He is judgemental and refuses to see the whole picture.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Lol! It's amazing how personality traits are handed down genetically. Harry will learn, though. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
I think I'd feel just as Hermione does. There's a point at which you have to protect your own and tell everyone else to go to hell. Losing a baby would certainly put ME in that frame of mine.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, Hermione can deal with a lot, but losing Serena was the final straw. All she wants is her husband back. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
A red M and green H, sounds very much like a certain yellow star. An excellent comparison.Lots of opponents have been disappearing from Hogwarts to who-knows-where for months, but the remaining ones complain Snape wasn't doing anything? Well, that's ok for 3 minutes... But why didn't they look around to see who entered the RoR with Hermione and hear their story? Hermione so selfish, that's new and understandable on the whim. I assume she could still be convinced that risking a loss simply isn't an option etc But who has got the time for that right now? They better get structured without her!Now I'm curious as Crookshanks how/with what possible assistance Severus is going to survive. Please keep your updating pace or I'll get crazy here.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Well, this is from Hermione's viewpoint, so who knows what conversations are taking place while she she argues with Minerva and tries to find Severus. Yes... Severus will be found and there will be one last confrontation with Harry. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Ah, I hate cliff-hangers on an awesome story!! can't wiat for the next chapter and for whenever Severus and Hermione reunite. It's been so long! And I too agree with you about Hermione's decision. I would have done the same thing. There's only so much bs a person can take before they say eff you LOL
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
You bet! Actually, Hermione is a nicer person than I am. I probably would have started hexing people as soon as they started talking smack about my husband. As for Harry, I would have said "Aah, shut the _ up!" and stupefied him.Next chapter, Severus and Hermione will be reunited! Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
AMEN!!! And since Severus made that vow all those chapters ago we know he won't be dying by snakebite, unless its a clever ruse.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
No dying for our favorite couple :) Next chapter will be the reunion! Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
i agree Hermione has been through enough she needs Severus. Loved how she told Minerva off, I mean what did that woman expect for Hermione to be all nice and ready to fight for the order and forget how they treated her. I love the many twists and turns in this story and keeps getting better every chapter I read.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! I thought it would be like Hermione to get fed up and have done with it. I hope you enjoy the reunion!Livvy
Loved it. Telling Minerva "I don't think so" was perfect. Harry trying to hug her like everything is a-ok is bs. I love the selfish Hermione. Hermione and Severus deserve it after the story you've put them through. :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! They do. They deserve peace and a life together. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Hello, livvy"I'm in the edge of my seat" - well, I couldn't have said it better myself! How will I be able to sustain the thrill until your next update?;)I'm able to understand Hermione's decision, if not to support it wholeheartedly, but I'm very curious about the reactions of the OotP-members... and about the final confrontation between Hermione and Harry.Thank you for writing!

Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
The next chapter will not be without Hermione and Harry having a final word together during her search to find Severus. I hope you like it!Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
The tension! The drama! I was damp-eyed last chapter, but this time I'm in the edge of my seat. It's tremendously exciting to read, and I agree entirely with Hermione's decision. She could have gone either way, deciding to fight because dear god she was sick of it, or refusing because she has given everything twice over by now. Some may find it OOC, but I don't.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Hermione has finally reach the ENOUGH line. All she wants is Severus and get her life back. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
A lot of food for thought in this chapter. So much going on and the stories of the students that fled the castle - wow. What a gruesome picture you painted. I think I agree with your statement about Hermione's refusal to fight. I can see where she's coming from. Even her stiff posture when Harry hugged her - it all fits with what's been building these last chapters. I don't think the members of the Order will take her refual well, maybe even try to lock her up somehow. I'm intrigued, wondering what you'll come up with and am not even going to second guess what will happen. But bring it on, doll!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! And thanks for the postcard! I just got it in the mail! What a delicious man you have in your city ;)Yes, there still will be a final word between Harry and Hermione before the battle is over. I hope you enjoy how it all turns out. Thanks!Livvy
I feel so sorry for Severus, what he had to say then. It's going to be so tough.
Look forward to the next chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, it is going to be painful for them-equally. Thanks,Livvy
