excellent alteration of this scene! A Severus in love is just a tad easier to persuade than the original. Nothing changed the fact that Remus forgot is potion, though. Ooh, the cliffy!!

I'm glad you worked the shack scene around a bit. I couldn't see how he could forgive her it things played out the way they did in the book.

I can't count how many times I wondered what would have happened 'if only' Severus had heard any of the conversation about Peter. I doubt he would have been any happier faced with yet another Marauder, a fellow Death Eater, to boot! But, he usually did the right thing ... once he calmed down.Now I'm very curious to see what path you send this down. That one little tweak could change a lot in the dynamics between Sev, Lupin and Black. And no, I don't think Black and Snape would EVER like each other!

Well done Hermione using the love trick, I'm glad it worked just goes to show that he still love hers plus she has got him under the thumb a little hehe. I look forward to the next chapter.

Thank you for this fabulous chapter!!!  All the joy and sadness mixed together was perfectly written.  I could feel their joy at being together, and the sadness they shared at Serena's grave.  It felt like torture to witness Severus' reaction as Andromeda told him of his daughter's burial.  With everything so topsy-turvy at the time, it was the best that could be done for the child if the mother was to survive, and Severus understood.  But it was particularly painful for him to find that she did not have a coffin... only a towel.  I understood perfectly when he said that he wanted her grave moved to their home in Hogsmeade when they were settled.I glad that Remus and Tonks had the chance to spend time with them, too.  It is time for healing to begin, and where better to start than with Remus and Severus?  Their history goes back many years...Kingsley was very reassuring in what he told Severus and Hermione they could expect.  I was glad that Harry took the blame upon himself for the treatment and denunciations that had been heaped on them.  Perhaps he has grown up after all.  But as for the trouble-free future Kingsley promised them– well, I'm with Severus–  I'll believe it when I see it.I can't wait to see what future has in store for them.  Wonderful, wonderful chapter!!!BethPS- I wish they could go back to that record shop, too.
