I love this story!! And this last chapter was very well written!.. Two and a half months!! (yeah well.. let's see what happens until then).. hopefully they can be together!.. but now with voldemort will be a bit more complicated.. I really want to know what's going to happen!! Hope you can update soon! :)

I love the way you weave canon into the story!  How heartbreaking for Hermione to have to watch Severus go to Voldy.  I've always wished Harry had put his memory of the cemetery into a Pensieve so that Severus woiuld have a clearer idea of what happened, how Voldy got his body, little details that only a Death Eater would see as important; perhaps Harry will tell Hermione more, so she can tell Severus.  Thank you for the new chapter!

Whow, I think that lily is a little more in to girls than boys. I wonder if James was intressted in lily if she was't a friend of severus. It looks more like 2 dogs fighting for the same bone.

Yea, why is Ron red-faced? Did he see something not meant for his eyes? Maybe then Sirius can help Hermione explain what's up? Oh, but darn, he'd help Snivellus--can he bring himself to do that?  I admire their patience; it's beyond all human power. The poor people. Do bring Severus home safe, will ya? I'm at a loss as to why Dumbledore was so stubburn with the imposter. In canon he told Harry he only noticed it when "Moody" removed Harry from his side.  You'll have to come up with something better, I suppose. Oh, and Severus is going to meet Wormtail; will the rat survive this? Can't wait to read on!

Oh! I can’t wait to see what happens when he returns to his rooms.  If Hermione wants to ease into intimacy then they better start doing more than masturbating on opposite sides of the bathroom door. :P

Great chapter. I'm really excited about what's going to happen next, I can't wait for them to be together properly.

Way to go out on top, Livvy!  The previous chapter showed us the happy ending, but so many times in this tale, just when things are looking up, the rug is pulled out from under them.  This chapter was important to show that we not only got to the happy ending, but it stuck this time.  I love the variety in their children and am sure that there is never a dull moment in the Snape household.  I think they have many happy years ahead of them.  So, well done.  I think this chapter of their lives is closed to us as outsiders.  Still, if the muse ever strikes, I'd love to see a glimpse of the future down the road.  Just check in on them, see how the kids are doing at Hogwarts.  Why do I have the feeling they would be serious empty nesters?  Still, I know that they know how to occupy their time while alone ;)This has been a long journey, but a very rewarding one for your readers.  I don't believe there was ever a chapter that disappointed.  If any version of Severus and Hermione deserved a happy ending it was here.  Thanks so much for sharing this with us.  You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your grandmother, and hope that your mother is doing well.  You should take some time for yourself and real life.  Just make sure you come back.  I really hope you have something brilliant coming up to share with us!

I read this yesterday but wanted to wait until I had time to properly write a review, but I'm not sure if I would ever be able to write a review that would actually be worthy of this story.  A Change is Going to Come is the best piece of fanfic ever and somehow I still feel like I'm short-changing it.  I know I've mentioned it in other reviews but this story had everything; it made me laugh when Severus would be pouty or jealous, it made me cry when they lost Serena, it made me mad when Harry locked Hermione away and it made me smile when you wrote ‘He still was her boy, and she was still his girl”.  I’m honestly getting emotional writing this review.  I loved it start to finish and in some ways devastated to see it end.  I wish I could write something to express truly how much this story meant to me over the past year and a half.  When I had a rough day at work, it was always nice to come how and see that A Change is Going to Come was updated.  An update was always a highlight and I will miss having updates to look forward too.

Such a wonderful ending to a wonderful story. I've had no updates to say this story has been updated so i've read the last 5 chapters. I'm glad they got everything they ever wanted. Couldn't have asked for a better ending.

*sighs*  So, we come to the final chapter.  But I don't think this story will ever end so long as there are one or two who sail this ship.  A Change is Going to Come by livvy6 will always be among my favorite fanfics.  Through you very talented story telling I almost feel like I've grown up with Severus and Hermione.  We've been able to see them go from teacher/student to becoming classmates and friends, return to the teacher/student relationship, grow to adulthood, marry, fight in a righteous war, have to be separated from each other and ostracized by their friends, lose a child, to picking up the threads of their married life and raising a family.You started this story in the middle of their lives (In Medias Res), then took us back to their beginning, and then on to their years of struggle, and finally to the sweet and well deserved life they had worked so hard to protect (Dulcius ex Asperis).  This is the essence of Epic in its purest form.  Congratulations on this wonderful work of fiction, and for making these extraordinary characters come to life.  I will follow your work, and I wish you every success in the future.In closing I want to express my sorrow for the loss of your grandmother, and I hope your mother will be returned to vigorous health.  Be well and let your fans know what you get up to.Lots of hugs, and a Thousand Points to Your House.  Five stars are not nearly enough.Beth

I'm so happy for Severus and Hermione!  After years of struggle, they finally have what they wanted -- children's toys to trip over, a houseful of happy children, good health, and friends, all in an era of peace.  Sounds like their biggest emergency was when three-year-old Xavier started exhibiting his magic; much nicer crisis than any Death Eaters.  Thank you so much for this lovely story.  I'm sorry t hear about your grandmother, and hope your mum is feeling better.
