I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Reviews for A Change is Going to Come
Hermione, you go girl!!! I really liked this chapter and this story. Although I have to admit, I don't like Lily - she's selfish and not nice. But you've done a very good job of characterizing her. Looking forward to more!!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, Lily is not the sweet girl everyone thinks she is. More's the pity. I'm glad you liked this chapter and I hope you continue to like where I take this fic. Thanks,Livvy
Yowch, setting people on fire? Good girl! Ha, take that Slytherin, you leave Mary alone! Excellent chapter!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! That's right! Hermione isn't a witch to mess with. Thanks!Livvy
Hi happy Holidays, been on vaction. Just read the last two chapters, things are really starting to heat up between the two houses. I loved Hermione's spunk to seek out the Slytherins, that was awsome. Where will it all lead. As always great chapters, looking forward to the next one.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Hi! Yes, Hermione will be flexing her strength amongst Slytherins and Gryffindors alike. It's going to be quite a ride! Thanks!Livvy
Oh no, this isn't going to go well at all...going to the Snakes Den alone... I'm glad that she wants to stand up for herself, but seriously, I'm afraid to read what happens next! I was glad to see she talked to Albus, and that he actually appologized! Meddling old fool. Anyways, I'm going to go onto Chapter 7 and see how many limbs she loses. Much Love ~ Karen Lyn
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I hope you are pleasantly reassured. Hermione is on the warpath! I hope you enjoy it.Thanks,Livvy
Wow, oh my gosh the girl has balls! I liked the conversation between Avery and Hermione. Interesting, and the talk between Severus and Hermione was eye opening, he's already in the 'role' he willl come to play alter in life. how sad
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, it brings everything to a differnent perspective, doesn't it? Hermione will continue to grow and handle difficult situations with the calm and cool way she always has in canon. She is grace under pressure. Thanks,Livvy
excellent update! i loved the fact that hermione stood up for mary. thanks so much
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hermione is going to show more of her hard side to combat the Slytherins. Thanks!Livvy
You are a brilliant writer, dear, and I thought that you should know that this is one of my favourite chapters in this story.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! Thank you!! I'm happy you like your work. I appreciate your taking the time to review. Thanks,Livvy
Thats it?! I have no nails thinking she was heading out to kick some ass and this is all we get. . I'm wounded to the quicks of my teethbitten nails... . . ahhh the agony. . . This.. . "oh poor Snapey" gets old really quick, does the plot bunny drool while you type him this way? Sorry, I ranting at you and all you did was produce an update to keep the plot bunnies from multiplying. You even gave an answer for why Snape preffered to call her, Miss Granger possibly in the future? I'm running at the mouth and I'll admit, NOT having her blast her way into the Slytherin common room was probably good show. OO I wonder why Albus doesn't put a stop to the Imperius curse being used on Slughorn by Avery,
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Hermione will have a discussion with DD about how come he doesn't take more control over what's going on at the school. I thought she did kick ass. She set one guy on fire and then blasted all three into the wall when they came after her. It was impressive enough to get Avery, who is the leader of all the Death Eaters at Hogwarts give her respect. Hermione now has clout amopngst the Slytherins and it will come handy in the future. Thanks,Livvy
Hell hath no fury....Our Miss Granger has come into her own, and the Slytherins as well as the Gryffindors will have to pay special attention. She will repay every unkindness, and "the retaliation will brought back to you in spades."I have a feeling that Severus will soon find himself between a rock and a harder place.Great chapter, livvy. Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh, yes. Not only will she have to contend with Slytherin, but the she will eventually have to deal with Sirius Black (who hates her with a passion and she likewise hates him just as much). Things are going to continue to get dicey as time moves forward towards the first war. Thanks!Livvy
Seems being alone has made Hermione tougher. Avery seemed almost , well, decent. Had snape told him what had happened? I'm a little surprised Slughorn backed off, though, he is an adult, afterall.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Well, we all know how Horace Slughorn can be pushed around. As for Avery, he can be very agreeable if the purpose suits him. If not, than he can be rather nasty. Snape has told him nothing. Avery knows how to play the game of diplomacy, and he knows to respect an opponent who is intelligent and strong. There will be more interactions between them in the future. Thanks,Livvy
Ach! Your Lily is an enigma! As I try to figure her out, I’m lead in circles of thought. She seems to have a childlike innocence in the way she sees things and is so self-centered, yet that seems to be her charm. She’s like nectar that draws everyone in and their reward for loving her is that she is happy. She has graced them with her presence and therefore she deserves their love and attention. For those she loves most … she doesn’t seem to have any boundaries to differentiate in how she shows her love. Just when I get to thinking this is part of her innocence, I remember her age and wonder how a 14/15-year-old girl could not realize the inappropriateness of her actions.
Maybe the concept of sending your children off to a boarding school on the threshold of their maturation is not a good idea. At the point where they are just growing out of the realm of childhood and into young adults, so many things change in their bodies and brains, it’s a time when instruction in the personal things are most important and should not be left up to impersonal teachers and other burgeoning teens!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I'm glad Lily is such a puzzle for you. She has always seemed to me to be a contrary figure. She loved and gave to those of her house, but she had no forgiveness in her heart for Snape. I have so many reasons for this, it defies description!Oh yea, you send eleven-year-olds to a boarding school where they live isolated in the Highlands, confined to the castle and then at thirteen they can go to Hogsmeade-how many chaperons are there? ANd are they really chaperoning or just visiting amongst themselves. You are going to have sexual experimentation going on of all kinds! Lily has many boundary issues, probably since she has been treated like a porcelain doll by everyone who knew her.I mean honestly, when I was twelve and started my period, if I had been a Slytherin there would be no WAY in hell I would EVER talk to Snape about that stuff!
I wonder how Severus would react if he found out about Hermione and Lily's night together.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Not night... nights. This will continue to be an issue for Lily as she pursues Hermione more and more vigerously. I wonder myself...Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Kick some ass Hermione!!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
oh yes she will! I hope you like the next chapter! Thanks,Livvy
Uh-Oh – angry Hermione on a mission is a force to be reckoned with... I can't wait to see what she will do!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
She's definitely going to kick some ass and lay down the law. I hope you like it!Livvy
I like that you included the Mudblood issue. Sometimes it's hard to remember that the Marauders had all of the personal stuff going on, plus they were fighting the same battles as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. And the emotional relationships are daunting on their own, but adding the creepy ethnic cleansing gives it a greater perspective into everyone's character.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh, yes. It will continue to become a very serious issue as time continues closer towards the first war. Thanks!Livvy
Uh oh. Those Slytherins have picked on the wrong Mudblood. She needs to go to Dumbledore too.Lily really needs a knock on the head or something. I assume her youth makes her the way she is. It's interesting how some girls at that age just give themselves up to the first person who shows interest in them, whether they have true feelings for that person or not. Hermione's advice to her to wait a while was smart.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Lily has been protected and coddled her whole life. First, her parents and then by Snape. She hasn't the foggiest idea of how bad things really are. She's also a very confused girl when it comes to her sexuality. She has a need to loved the best. Perhaps because she had been loved the best by her parents and Snape. Now she expects that of everyone.Hermione is really going to lay down the law next chapter. I hope you like it!Thanks,Livvy
Good, hopefully things will turn around for Eileen Snape. Figures, as soon as LIly i shope - she runs off with Severus. Lily is really a wet reed in this, isn't she?
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
She certaintly makes things difficult for Severus and Hermione. Thanks,Livvy
Gads, Mr. Snape is a letch. Thank God Severus came abck as he did - and had the forsight to play his dad like he did. I hope he isn't expelled. What was Dumbledore thinking?
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! As usual, Dumbledore is thinking of the "Greater Good." He is so focused on saving Snape, he doesn't consider what danger he may be placing Hermione in.Thanks!Livvy
So in this timeline it's Lily who helps Hermione fix her teeth. Clever. btw - What is Dumbledore playing at having Hermione spend a month with Severus?
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! Dumbledore is concerned with the influences in Snape's life and hopes Hermione will be a good influence on him. Hermione is stronger in her beliefs than Lily is.Thanks,Livvy
I'd have done the same thing in hexing Black if he'd treated me the same way. I'm glad Hermione is standing up for herself.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, Hermione isn't going to take crap from anyone! As she will prove over and again through this story. Thanks,Livvy
strangely unique and really edgy.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I hope you continue to like the story! Thanks,Livvy

The next chapter is in the queue! I hope you like Hermione's reaction to all of this. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Wow!I am constantly being amazed by this story!I really love a strong Hermione character! It's not unheard of for two best friends to experimenta little, esp in a boarding school situation. So yeah, keep up the great work!I love your writing!~ Angela
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! I'm glad my views are not offending people. People seem to be understanding. I went through a phase where I was deeply attracted to a girl in college. I never knew her name or introduced myself to her. We'd pass each other on campus and since it was a southern school we would say "Hello," as all good southerners do whether they knew you or not. I just can't explain it. I was completely gone for her and also felt ashamed about it.I also had a close girlfriend when I was twelve that kissed me on the lips. It was rather intriguing and I have always been curious about how it would be like to touch another woman. I'm married, so that ship has sailed. I wish I had taken a chance to really experiment when I was young, but oh, well. I agree with you. Boarding school, best friends, puberty...etc. Stuff is gonna happen if one is inclined towards it or is curious. Thanks for reviewing!Livvy
Response from Hanagasume (Reviewer)
I know exactly what you mean by that.I went to boarding school for my five years of high-school,and at one point, for a few months when I was about 16,I found myself oddly attracted to one of my friends. It's been about three years since that, and I didn't actually experiment then.I don't regret it though - I think my boyfriend feels pretty special being the one to enlighten me these days. Lol.And no problem! I love your stories!
Excellent usage of a canon character in Mary MacDonald! Always great to see unknown canon characters being thrown in :) Now, what kind of stand is Hermione going to take? We shall see. Enjoying the fic!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I think it will be received well. Hermione will pull out all of her arsenal. Intelligence, mad skills with a wand, and a take no shit attitude. She's going to seriously change a lot of things concerning Slytherin/Gryffindor relations. Thanks,Livvy
James Potter and Sirius Black are no better than Mulciber and Rosier. It seems clear that Slytherins do not have an exclusive claim on bad characters... these two Gryffindors are among the worst offenders at the school. I am amazed that Severus did not get into serious trouble by truly injuring Sirius or James as a result of their torments of him. I understand how Severus could find himself drawn to the preachings of Tom Riddle... sad though is was.I didn't really understand Lily's wishy-washy way of looking at things, but then I realized just how important it was to her to be "loved" by everyone, so she was very careful never to offend anyone... in other words, she allowed everyone else to fight her battles for her so she could maintain her Lily-white image... how very Slytherin...Great chapter. I can't wait to see what happens when Hermione reaches the Dungeons.Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, I always thought Lily was a bit thick when it came to Gryffindor/Slytherin relations. Well, Hermione's jaunt down to Slytherin House will change things in a huge way for everyone. I hope you enjoy it!Thanks,Livvy
