I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.

He still wears the grey nightshirt? XD Top man.
Loved the chapter BTW, this is a fantastic and truly original fic.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! I couldn't help myself. After all, I think every guy has a really crappy shirt or whatever. I'm sure in time, he'll change. Thanks so much for your compliments :)Livvy
Oh dear, the classic power struggle between a girl's female and male friends. Sad that Lily just doesn't feel the same way about Severus.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, it's sad. Unfortunately, it's going to get much worse. Thanks,Livvy
Oh the angst!! *grabs chest* I don't think I can stand it!!! Beautifully done!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks very much! I hope you continue to enjoy it :)Livvy
Oh no! I'm so engrossed in this story, but I am terrified to see what will happen when she finally tells him the truth. As for the meeting of timelines... nothing good can come of it... but I hope it does! Great story!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I hope it will not disappoint :)Thanks!Livvy
Why didn't Hermione simply tell Harry that she'd seen him the night before at headquarters? That he was with Remus and safe? BUt then Kreacher played that ebil trick, geeze - Harry simply doesn't mature in this version - and Hermione isn't doing a good job protecting him. Did she even think to inform Severus?
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
There was no time. I thought about her sending a quick Patronus, but those could be intercepted, and with Umbridge around, I decided against it. There just wasn't time. Hermione knew that Harry would just go without her if she left him to go talk to Severus. If Hermione had said she knew that Sirius was there with Remus, Harry would have gotten suspicious as to how she would just know without confirming for sure. So, then Kreacher does his thing to screw everything up. Hermione's job is to stick by Harry. She is to protect him and she will. Unfortunately, the secret about her past life will all come out as she protects Harry. Thanks!Livvy
Response from beaweasley2 (Reviewer)
Nope - a Patronus might be overheard, but they cannot be intercepted.I thought that he knew she was in the order? But regardless, now there will be no back up since Severus wasn't informed and therefore isn't informing anyone of their stupidity. They are facing everyone along without the Order coming to help.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Actually, they can be intercepted. When Tonks in Book 6 sent her Patronus ahead to Hogwarts, Severus intercepted it. Tonks told him she had meant for Hagrid to get the message. They know Hermione is in the Order, but they don't know that Sirius tried to rape her, meaning, she knows that at any time of the day, Sirius is with another Order Member. Harry doesn't know that. He would become suspicious if she said, "Just believe me, I know he's at headquarters." Harry would not take that chance. So to indulge Hermione, they try to reach him and get Kreacher.Don't underestimate Severus' ability to deduce what is going on. He is going to find out that his wife, Harry, Ron, Luna, Neville, and Ginny are gone. He knows what Harry wants to know, so he will be informing the Order to check out the Department of Ministries. Either that or the person on duty to watch out for any suspicious activities will see them and inform an Order member. They won't be alone, and Hermione is a powerful duelist, as is Harry, so they will hold their own until the Order arrives. Thanks!Livvy
Oh, the poor boy. Thinks he has a relationship when she clearly does not...
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Sorry I missed this review! It slipped passed me! It was hard writing about Severus' devotion when it wasn't receprocated. Thanks!Livvy
Possessive love isn't really love, its more like he HAS to have her and nothing else matters, not even HER feelings on the matter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Interesting, someone will point that out to Hermione in the next chapter. Thanks,Livvy
Delores Umbridge is a nasty piece of work! I sincerely trust she will pay dearly before all is said and done. Minerva doesn't deserve to have been harmed, and I hope she will be able to be healed at St. Mungo's and returned to Hogwarts soon. Besides with Dumbledore and Hagrid gone, Severus, Hermione, and rest of the honorable members of the staff really need her help. When Severus and Hermione arrived at Headquarters Arthur and Molly were already concern for the way Sirius was behaving, and in short order they found out that Umbridge may have been helping the Death Eaters! There is an on-going and increasing number of problems! I do hope Severus will be able to find out from Lucius if Minister Fudge is Imperioused or if he is just following orders.
I was relieved to find out that Hagrid was safe, although I had to laugh at Tonk's admission that she had forgotten to set her wards and she was starkers when she saw him. After hearing what Severus had to say about that, her comment to Hermione that he needed a good rodgering made me laugh out loud. Well done!
At least once Hermione and Severus were back in their rooms at Hogwarts they were able to devote some time to pleasant diversion. I loved Severus' gray nightshirt and Hermione's gasped, "Professor Snape! Are you… up… to something?”
When Harry had the visions of being Voldemort and seeing Sirius being tortured, I knew there would be no way to talk him out of doing something. He has no idea of what his god-father tried to do to Hermione and sees him as the only "family" he has left. I pray that all of them accompanying him to the Ministry of Magic to help Harry save Sirius will be safe. I don't think Hermione could have not gone with them, but its certain to be a dangerous undertaking and probably very hard for her to see Sirius again.
Thanks for another wonderful chapter, Livvy. I adore this story!!!Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! I do love reading your reviews :) You are so through! It will be very different with Hermione being in charge and Harry seeing how the Death Eaters already know Hermione! After next chapter, Hermione's past won't be a secret any longer!Thanks!LivvyP.S. I couldn't resist the turnabout. Snape is always lurking in canon to catch them all "up to something!" I couldn't resist the tongue and cheek! ;)
This was a great chapter, i wonder though that will Harry ever get to know about Sirius's transgressions against Hermione....its true that its hard to sympathize with Sirius in ur world.....i hope he gets what is coming for him....I am really looking forward to hermione style action...i still remember how she took out slytherin students when she went back in time....heheheh.....sitting on tenterhooks and waiting for the Action to begin!....update soon.........
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh, yes. Hermione will be kicking some serious ass, but she'll take it too. There'll be no hiding about who she really is after the next chapter. Thanks!Livvy
Aggh, so close! I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop at the Department of Mysteries, and it just stays...tantalizingly...out of reach! You're killing me here!Seriously, great chapter, and I'm glad that things are finally coming to a head here. Harry's obviously trying to remember things about Hermione (despite having been Obliviated--he's got a pretty strong mind for that, he really should have been able to learn Occlumency), and Hermione is placed in the difficult position of doing what is against her better judgment in order to try and keep Harry safe. I just hope that Harry's not going to resent her for it when it's all over.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It'll be there next chapter. Then Harry will find out as well as everyone else. Harry is so stubborn and and hard-headed at times that he just didn't put his energies into Occlumency because he was too interested into finding about about what was in the DoM. Sorry, but you'll just have to see how Harry and Hermione's relationship unfolds. :)Thanks!Livvy
Severus had to convince Hermione to talk to him about how she felt and what she wanted, now the tables are turned and Hermione had to convince Sev to do the same! It's always so much easier to know what other people should do than it is to know what you should do...but it's worked out for now, anyway. Their sex life needs to be normal, what with all the abnormal things going on around them. If they can continue to be each other's rock, they can stand firm.Again with the Obliviating of Harry! I know he'll be fine, but it's just so funny! I keep thinking of a Monty Python skit--"Brain hurts!" "It'll have to come out!"Any chapter now is going to be the Department of Mysteries...I'm on pins and needles about it.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It's hard for them with the outside world barging in and interfering with their relationship. But they love each other deeply, and each struggle just serves to bring them closer. Thanks,Livvy
Finally, a good long detailed talk about what happened to Hermione, how she felt, everything! That coupled with the experience of loving sex with a trusted partner will go a long way toward her complete recovery from her ordeal. I'm glad they were finally able to get there.Oh dear, Harry had to be Obliviated. Hopefully that won't start becoming a habit... And I just howled with laughter over the speculation regarding Snape "making" Hermione shag him! "What's the high hard one?" asked Neville. Oh that was priceless! Neville always seems to join these conversations at the wrong moment! Some desperately needed lightness to counterbalance the angst. Well done. We're creeping nearer the Department of Mysteries fiasco...I can hardly wait.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! I had to bring some levity into this. There is so much serious crap going on, a bit of a giggle was needed. I'm glad you liked it!Thanks!Livvy
Ahh, finally we see the end of Sirius. (?) He deserves it in this story. I think they all need a vacation! They are all harping on one another. I always thought Harry was very impetuous in this. He's a hot-head sometimes! Especially when it comes to Sirius. Wonder if he'll find out about Sirius' attempt with Hermione???
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Ah! now that is a good question. Will Harry find out about Sirius? All I can say is that what Sirius did to Hermione will have lasting consequences in the future. Thanks!Livvy
Hooray, the angry breakthrough! Hermione's anger might be a smidge misplaced, but at least she's finally feeling anger that's not directed at herself. She's starting to truly believe that she's not to blame. Granted, Severus isn't to blame either, but baby steps! Talking to one another can only help them along.Ron was really very sweet to want to do something nice for Hermione for Valentine's Day; I felt all warm and fuzzy when he thought of her. He really does try to be a good friend, even if he doesn't always know the right thing to do. Also loved Hermione's line to Ginny regarding the "idiot brother"--"Which one?" I'm sure Ginny can't help but agree...
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
But of course. Ginny knows the score. Yes, Hermione just needs time to sort out her head, but not at the expense of hurting Severus and alienating him. Thanks!Livvy
I kept wondering when they arrived at this point in the story, why would Hermione just go ahead and wander off with a bunch of kids to the dept of mysteries without getting help from the order, or at least Severus. But after having read this, it does make sense that she recognizes that Harry and the others are going now, no matter what, and better that she be there as the "adult chaperone" of the mission. Will be interesting to see how things play out in your version. It is definitely harder to care what happens to Sirius in your world than in canon. Except for the fact that Harry will be affected the same since he has been kept in the dark about Sirius and his previous transgressions.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Hermione just wants to keep Harry alive. So, she has to go with them. It will be a different scenario, and everyone will know about Hermione's past. Thanks!Livvy
I don't think Snape is going to like the fact that his wife didn't let him in on what they were doing. Didn't she just apparate directly to Grimmauld Place from Dumbledore's office. I would think she would remember that. Well anyway....great chapter and I can't wait for the next update.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
No, they used the Floo. And you can be sure Dumbledore closed that ability before she took over. There was just no time. Sticking with Harry and protecting him was her job. Severus will understand. Thanks!Livvy
Response from kimbee73 (Reviewer)
Thanks I obviously read that wrong. You're right Dumbledore would have closed that before Umbridge. Thanks for the clarification.
Aww, didn't Dolores get her party time with the centaurs? :D
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Nope! Hermione was able to avoid getting caught by the Rat Squad. Thanks!Livvy
Well, Hermione has taken the first tiny step to recovery by talking a little about her ordeal. But she still has such a long way to go, and she's getting more and more skittish around men. I thought she might freak out on Ron when he grabbed her arm to pull her to Harry; he obviously noticed that something wasn't right, but was too worried about Harry to give it much further thought.Mundungus' comments about Sirius were deep and to the point, although a bit disturbing to hear him say that it would have been a blessing to Sirius if he'd been killed. It was almost like listening to someone counsel putting down a rabid animal for the safety of the community. He has a point, but unlike animals we have the chance of climbing out of our madness, however slim it may be. I have a feeling though that Sirius will pass through the Veil and perhaps see it as an end to his suffering. He may even deliberately allow it to happen so he can be with James and Marlene again.Whew! This continues to be some powerful writing! On to the next chapter...
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
In some real ways, Sirius is more dog than human. He spent so much time in his Animagus form in Azkaban that he has lost a part of his humanity. That is basically what Mundungus is saying-that Sirius should be put out of his misery so the Order can function properly. Thanks!Livvy
Whoa! I lose track of this story for a while, and look what happens! I can't believe that Sirius finally completely lost it like that...I know he's been through a lot, and his extended stay in Azkaban for all those years couldn't have done him any favors for his sanity, but still. It's like once Marlene died, Sirius was incapable of moving on with his life in any way. He's still that teenage Marauder who picks on "Snivellus", Harry has somehow become James as though he never died, and the past twenty years apparently never happened as far as Sirius is concerned. But of all the ways to break, attempted rape is one of the worst.I hope Hermione can be convinced that she's really not to blame; like Moody said, she didn't force Sirius to react to his anger the way he did. Being mad at someone is no excuse to physically attack them. Surely she'll remember that Severus was there for her when his own father tried to take advantage of her all those years ago! He won't turn against her now.Enough reviewing! I have got to get to the next chapter before my head explodes!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! I'm glad you are enjoying the fic. Yes, it's rather sad seeing Sirius' mind so deteriorated. What's worse is that Harry can't find out about what Sirius did. But Hermione will find her way back after this terrible experience. It will just take time. Thanks!Livvy
I love Hermione's gut response and Harry is becoming more suspicious of her knowledge. I wonder if that will be a problem?
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Well, after the next chapter, everyone will know about Hermione's past. What happens at the Dept. of Mysteries will bring it all out and everyone will know. Thanks!Livvy
I love the story so far! I cannot wait to see what happens!!!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! And thank you also for being so supportive of my writing. I always see your name on each one of my story favs list. I hope you continue to enjoy the fic!Livvy
Response from freeluciusnow21 (Reviewer)
Yes, I love ALL of your stories. I'm excited about this one in particular because I have a special fondness for time travel and the Marauder era. I can't wait to see what you've come up with. I already love Severus--can't help but love that possessive drive of his!
What a nasty git! And possessive to boot. It seems very in-character that Lily takes his affections and leads him on. It's rather cruel. He's built up this image of her that is totally false. Thinking there's something there when there isn't, he's jealous that Hermione is taking up the time he wants to spend with Lily. And Lily's comments about him probably being the first one to touch her... she obviously doesn't want that. She's definitely got some problems.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh my *shakes head laughing* Lily does have problems. She's definately not what she seems to be. He does see Hermione as a threat, but Hermione is a smart girl. She will know how to keep her distance-without upsetting Snape... or Lily. Thanks,Livvy
THis is really getting exciting. We all know what happened at the ministry and I am looking forward to your take in the up coming battle.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It is going to be different. Hermione will be taking control and shocking her "classmates" with her abilities and her familiarity with the present Death Eaters. I hope you like it!Thanks,Livvy
Whew. Snape is going to be very angry that Hermione did not stop to tell him what's going on, not to mention that she is putting herself into danger. At least she does have some experience that the rest of them don't.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
He will understand. There wasn't time and he knows how hard-headed Harry can be. And her orders were to stick with Harry. She's doing what she can. Thanks!Livvy
Absolutely, tensely beautiful. MAkes me want to bite my nails and vibrate in anticipation.~Mia
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
The next one is going to be quite the chapter for kicking ass! Thanks!Livvy
