I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.

Oh boy. I can't believe we are off to the ministry. Another great chapter and I can't wait for the next one.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
The next one is really going to be action-packed! I really hope you like it. :)Thanks!Livvy
My my Sev sure is possive of Lily. You are writing Lily as I had always pictured her to be. Kind of selfish and selfcentered but nice at the same time and not above being a little controling. Excelent chater. looking forward to the next one.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I wonder how people will respond as the chapters go by and Lily develops as a character. It will be unorthodox for many, but I'm glad to read you are open to how I'm portraying her. Thanks!Livvy
that is one twisted up young snape. i think you have their relationship spot on. he wanted more than she could give. great update. thanks so much
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Wow, I can't wait until later down the road. If you think it's twisted now-oh boy :) lol!Thank you fopr your compliments,Livvy
Awwwww! I can't wait for the next chapter! You've really got me hooked!Lovely writing!xo.

Thanks! I have the next chapter in the queue. I'm glad you are loving this fic. This is by far, my favorite of the ones I've written. I hope it comes across as the chapters pile up.Thanks!Livvy
Response from Hanagasume (Reviewer)
I see that!Actually my favourite story of yours is "Full of Grace" so far.But I won't set my cap at a fav until your next two are completed!xo.
Aww, poor Severus.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, he's so pitiful, even when he's snarky, you just want to give him a hug :)Thanks,Livvy
God, what a summer. I hope it turns out better than I am imagining. What is Dumbledore thinking? This next chapter should be interesting.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Dumbledore has all these "wonderful ideas" that in theory sounds good, but in practice, people suffer. He thinks Hermione will be a good influence for Snape, but what of Hermione? What awaits her at Spinner's End?Thanks,Livvy
OMG! Could they be more dysfunctional? But, I have to agree with Severus on the one count - what was Dumbledore thinking? Setting up a basically orphaned 14 year old girl to live with a 14 year old boy in a home where the parents are known to fight. Bad call!!!On the other hand, it does give Hermione insight into what Severus' life is/was/will be like.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
As usual, Dumbledore hare-brained ideas, Greater Good, and all that happy horse-shit are what is on his mind. He is concerned about Severus becoming more and more like his Slytherin brothers. Like Harry, he places a lot on Hermione's shoulders and there will be consequences. But it will give Hermione a realistic view of how Snape has grown up in that home, and it itsn't pretty. Thanks,Livvy
Hmm....very interesting turn of events. My, my Snape is a bit possessive. I'm enjoying this much more than I originally thought I would. You are a very talented writer and quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! Yes, Snape is very possessive of Lily and isn't at all happy about Hermione's "intrusion."Thank you for your compliments! I hope you continue to enjoy it!Thanks,Livvy
This is a really fascinating story! I've read all 53 chapters in the last few days. I'm really digging the time-turner plot, and your retelling of books 3-5+ is very well done. This baby is epic! Wow! Cross-generational too, really excellently thought out. You've held me in fasination the whole way through.
I do want to kick Sirius into the veil, all over again. Hermione's emotional reactions were very true to reality and I felt for her and Severus. I was so heartened to see that they finally came back together in this chapter! They both need each other so desperately!
BTW, I find sub!Severus to be extremely hot. I do hope we get more of that in the future. I think he'd really enjoy letting Hermione take charge. *smirk*
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you for your compliments! It's hard to believe there is less than 20 chapters left, but they will be packed full of action, sex, and angst. I'll do what I can with sub! Snape :)Thanks!Livvy
They keep forgetting that Harry is naturally curious and has lots of experience solving mysteries. He is going to keep digging until he figure out what's going on with Hermione and in the Department of Mysteries.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
You betcha! Harry isn't stupid, just determind! Thanks!Livvy
Wow... That's about all I can manage saying right now. One of the best I ever read. Congrats!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you so much!Livvy
Its good Hermione does not feel responsible for what happened with Dumbledore. He did warn the Order that it was enevitably going to happen. I am glad she gave Severus a chance.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
They love each other too much to let things to continue for long. Thanks!Livvy
So she is finally facing what happened that night, instead of running away from it. It must be so hard being a grown woman stuck in a teenagers body.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, it is really taking a toll, but soon everyone will know the truth. Thanks!Livvy
Whew. I am glad Hermione admitted to baiting Sirius, but I am also glad the males in the Order didn't see that as reason enough for him to do what he did. Hermione needs some serious counselling before she will get over this.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Hermione is going to have to deal with her denial over whose fault it is. Once she stops blaming herself for what Sirius did, things will improve. Thanks!Livvy
Wow. I know there has always been antagonism between the two of them, but for Sirius to go that far... He really needs to grow up. Shuch a pathetic excuse to use - I was angry. He need to grow up and stop putting the blame for his actions onto the situation he is now in.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Sirius is so blinded by his hate for Snape, he can only think of what would really hurt him, and that would be through hurting Hermione. Plus, he sees so much of Marlene in Hermione and can't get past her death. Really sad, actually. Thanks!Livvy
This chapter is amazing! Suddenly pitched back in time before Hermione knew the truth about Sirius or much about 'the James gang'. All the Time-Turner stories I've read have Hermione knowing Sirius, from third through fifth years. It's interesting to have her thinking he's a killer.I especially like the way you've portrayed Lily as a weaker personality; a social climber, rather than this wide-eyed innocent darling of Hogwarts.Lily's comment of "...He’d die if I were ever to leave him!" seems to indicate that the only reason Lily was remaining friends with Sev at this point was obligation and guilt. Your 'revelation' on Prof. Snape calling his students, 'dunderheads', coming from a derisive term his own father called him as a child ... like Hermione thought, it just sort of clicks into place. And at the end, with Lily sticking up for Sirius like she did, I wouldn't be surprised if Lily didn't play-the-field between Sirius and James to see which one could get her the farthest up that social ladder.Looking forward to seeing how you have this all play out. Nice twist of the Time-Turner!

Thanks, I think the next chapter will show more about Lily's motivations. There is more there to uncover, and its more confusing and murky then what we've already seen. I'm glad you like where I am taking this. It will be a long ride, but it's finished and hopefully you continue to like it.Thanks,Livvy

I think it's so interesting that you choose to start the story off before hermione ever hears much about the marauders. a fascinating perspective that she still thinks black is the bad guy!! (in book 3 I mean).

Yes, it came to me all of a sudden, and I thought, "Man! that would be different!"Thansk for reviewing,Livvy

thank goodness. and how perceptive of severus. wonderful update. mucho smoochies
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Aww, thanks! I'm glad you liked it :)Livvy
So her shoving Severus away was because he wasn't at Grimmauld Place, that he didn't come to her, it had been Black? She needs to sort out her mind/wants/desires and get over this. Severus gave her a wonderful Valentines, I hope that she appreciates it and realizes it for what it's worth.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
This isn't the reason for her keeping her distance. Her body has been violated and she feels anger towards herself for not "knowing" it was her husband. But yes, deep down she has some anger for Severus because she was ordered by Dumbledore to spend the holidays with Harry and not once did Severus stop by. He could have been at the party for New Years - it was an Order Party, after all. Severus knows he was being pouty and admitted to her that was his reason for not coming to the Party. Hermione could have stood up to Dumbledore and I think she knows that deep down and is angry at herself. But the fact remains that SHE was ordered to be at Grimmauld Place near Harry. Severus wasn't and therefore, had the room to come in and check up on her and have a moment together. Severus regrets it and knows that Hermione needs to recognize where to place her anger. She needs to stop blaming herself because Severus was pouting instead of coming to see her, and she needs to take responsibility for letting Dumbledore have the entire say in her life, no questions asked. If anyone knows what it is klike to be ordered around by that wizard with no wiggle room, it's Severus. She could have appraised the situation to Dumbledore and said that things were getting way too difficult to stay at headquarters, Harry was doing fine know, and she was just a Floo away, just in case.Of course, she appreciates what Severus did, and she is back with him, living together, but it is a process. It isn't something you "get over." It takes time, but they will work it out together. Thanks!Livvy
Progress! I'm glad Severus and Hermione are at least a little together, and that he confronted her with her choice. Harry wouldn't have blinked if she'd said she neded to visit her parents for a day or two, not after he got over his hump. I hope this is the last bump in their road! Thanks for updating.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Well, Dumbledore always has his manipulating ways that can backfire. Besides, Harry might have had some upset if she said anything. Thanks!Livvy
What a rotten way to spend Valentines with out your love ones. I am glad the Hermione came to realize that Severus has always been her friend first and then lover. And I am glad that she didn't turn to drugs to numb the pain. Severus coming to Hermione and just pampering her was the best for both of them.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, even with all the awkwardness, flower-forgetting, birthday-forgetting, a tipsy Hermione, and a fight in the middle of the night, it was what they had to go through to move forward. And they will. It just takes time. Thanks ;)Livvy
Big progress!!! Yay!!!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks!Livvy
Those two have lots of excess baggage. He's brooding and she's fearful, angry, prideful (am I reading too much?). Each is surrounded by people constantly, yet their unique situation (hiding their marriage on the whole) isolates them. How lonely.Thank goodness Severus reached his limit and approached Hermione, reiterating his feelings as husband and friend. Thank goodness Hermione softened enough to let him in, allowing the healing to begin. Their evening together was lovely, until his admission, but it's a necessary step for recovery. Yay for progress!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, they will have to work through that. It will be rocky for them, but they will get past this. Thanks,Livvy
I am so glad she came back to his bed. What is next? I know they have a lot to work out. But at least things seem to be going in the right direction.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, they have much to work out, but they will get past this. Thanks,Livvy
they're just so frustratingly petulant and childish it's a wonder at all how they survive. i don't get lily why is she like that? she strings people along. i don't think she would do that. it wouldn't be something lily, as harry's mother would do.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Ah, but isn't what we've all been led to believe? Usually the dead are remembered with more fondness and talked about as having been much better people than they really were in real life. Since Harry is so very good, how could he have a mother who was shallow?Just remember, by the time Lily sacrifices her life for Harry, she will have changed significantly. Motherhood alone can change a selfish woman into a giving woman and vice-versa. As Harry's mother, no. But being Lily Evans? Well, we saw how she treated Snape when he came crawling and begging for forgiveness. That was real cold-hearted, IMHO.Thanks!Livvy
