Oh, I can't wait now until the next chapter.  It will be hard for Hermione, but I have to say I'm looking forward to seeing Severus' reaction.  I can't help but feel very little pity for Sirius here, and a very great desire to see this spoiled boy begin to have to face up like a man to the consequences of his actions.  I can see how this sets up some dynamics for future actions that explain a great many things.  But, for good or ill, actions do have consequences, and Sirius must face the consequences of his.  I very much liked how you had the Order rally around Hermione, and respond to her request to both rally around Severus in seeing that Sirius "must answer to Severus", yet at the same time hold Severus under control, so that he as well does not make a huge mistake.  Do please hurry with the next.

Erm, not cool. One thing I thought didn't really jibe with me was Hermione's reaction after the fact. She reacted more like a 16 year old than the 30-whatever she is. Not that she wouldn't be devastated, but this 'it's my fault' stuff and the 'Don't tell Severus' reactions just seemed to be the reactions of a much younger girl. I think someone of Hermione's age would not make excuses for such a savage attack. She's old enough to understand that a man can control himself and that no amount of egging on should result in such a heinous crime.

To be honest, I don't think that Sirius is that important to the Order. They did just fine after his death in canon. They'll do just fine with him back in Azkaban.

I do think you sold his character short. Yes, he's a jerk. Yes, he makes fun of those he finds different than himself. Yes, he needs a good, swift kick to wake him up. But I don't think he would ever do such a horrible thing, drunk or not.

It was an exciting chapter in any case, and I hope that the end that you've described will make sense with everything you've set up here.

I'm sure the Occlumency lessons will go no better than before.

I hope Hermione tells Severus.  He'll be upset, of course, but better for him to hear it from his wife than from someone else.  I think he'll be okay as long as Sirius suffers or is punished somehow.  Git.Thanks for updating!

I have to agree with Hermione, his 'excuse' of 'I was drunk' was pitiful.I, too, am looking forward to seeing how this plays out.  I know how my story covers the same time-frame and will be very curious to see what you write.You handled the situation from Hermione's point of view very well.

Whoa that was intense.  Was this always your plan or did it come to you as you were writing Sirius?  You've always portrayed Sirius as an a-hole but this is about as bad as it can get.  I'm nervous for Hermione.  And Dumbledore laying down the law is pretty hardcore too.  I'm kind of in shock.  Sorry for the rambling review.  Still my most favorite fanfic of all time and you handled the intense situation perfectly.  I'm just whoa.  :)

At least the Order know what's going on with the DA, even if a lot of them don't like it. I had to laugh at how sulky and jelous Severus is over not having Hermione with him for Christmas. Domineering and bossy Severus? Yep, I think I could handle that.

It seems like the Order and her husband are keeping secrets from Hermione too. Not a good thing if she is supposed to be keeping their secrets from Harry. I can't wait to see what happens at the next meeting!

Another great chapter.  It just continues to be more of the same; Hermione is left out and annoyed because she feels like she is treated as the age she looks, Sirius is a jackass, Severus overreacts and is cranky, Albus has abominable timing...  The tension and angst has dropped considerably now that Severus and Hermione are able to be together but I still can't wait until this is all over and everyone lives happily ever after (or at least that is what I am telling myself is going to happen).  I have a feeling we have a ways to go.

Great chapter, some of them lines by Severus are priceless! I do hope they get some time together though. The Occlumency lessons are going to be very interesting.

You would think that Hermione would know a lot more of what's going on considering she's getting all the stuff first hand at Hogwarts and from the meetings of the Order. Loved Severus' petulant act.

Hooray!  You know, I actually squeaked in delight to see you'd updated?I like the Albus-as-cockblocker depiction, and I'm very interested in seeing how Hermione deal with the disaster that was Harry's Occlumency.  I'm thinking you won't change the plot much, but couldn't Hermione help them a bit?  Oh boy.

I hope Hermione and Severus can sneak some time together during the holidays.  They are going to need to learn all about Arthur's treatment for Nagini's bite!  Poor Severus just can't be alone with Hermione even after marriage.  Thanks for the new chapter!

This chapter had a bit of everything:  humor, frustration, anger, condescension, lively sex, smut, and more sex.  I loved it. 

In the Order meeting, Molly was in rare (and stupid) form complaining about the group of students that Harry is training in Defense.  If she just had to say something, she should have been raising Cain with Ron and not Hermione.  She's just angry that Hermione and Severus married. I was surprise that Remus agreed with Molly.  Has he forgotten his own student days when he couldn't control James and Sirius?  I was glad that Hermione told them what they could do with her opinion, and I hope the fact that Dumbledore said he thought the group should continue will make Molly hold her tongue in the future.

I figured that somehow Umbridge would find a way to keep Harry from playing Quidditch.  Unfortunately, the guys played right into her hands when they took on Malfoy for making disgusting remarks about Harry's mother and Molly.  Still I was glad that they gave Draco what he deserved for insulting Lily and Molly.

My absolute favorite part was when Severus grabbed Hermione as she was making her way back to the Dungeons.  Thus began their love making that lasted into the night and the following morning... until, that is, the cockblocker interrupted their post-coital bliss.  Somehow Severus managed to maintain his humor when the cockblocker said he hoped he didn't interrupt them:

•“Albus, I have a young woman in my bed, and it is six in the morning. I am awake. Of course you interrupted!” •“Foolish me. Here I thought we would be the only ones ‘coming’ in here.” Priceless, Livvy!
