I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Reviews for A Change is Going to Come
Yay! I'm so glad Hermione and Severus are all the way back together again. I was so sad. I hope you go easy on them for another chapter or two. :) And just incase I haven't said it in the last few reviews...I still adore this story.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! I'm glad you still are lovin' it! Can't say I'll be easy on them. More trouble afoot! But don't blame me-it's those damn Death Eaters!Livvy
Well, she's finally on the road to recovery. Things will improve given time I think.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes. Things will be better, but there will be a step backward. It'll be Severus' problem this time. But they'll get through it too. Thanks!Livvy
Things are definately getting back on track. Hermione is really lucky that Severus is so concerned for her even thou he hasn't gotten any lately. And if only the other Gryffindor knew how right they were when they were herassing Hermione. Can't wait for the next update.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh, yes! Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction :)I'll get the next chapter in the queue ASAP!Thanks!Livvy
Scary beautiful. Gave me the chills. Love the obliviated touch.~Mia
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks...what else whould we expect from Hermione? Ron said it first. Brilliant, but scary! Thanks!Livvy
I'm so glad they're on their way to being together again.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks. The next chapter should be up any time now,. I hope you enjoy it!Thanks!Livvy
Rosmerta did the most wonderful thing when she told Hermione about the prostitute that was trying to get Severus to go with her. If Hermione didn't want Severus, there would always be some other woman who would gladly take him off her hands.
I am so happy that Severus went to Hermione's room to speak to her. It's been weeks since they've really talked, and he has done everything he can to show her that he respects her wishes. But the time has come for her to deal with these fears, and without a little push, I don't think she would have gone to him. The plea he made for her to stop hurting him because Sirius hurt her seemed to touch something in her mind that allowed her to consider how much Sirius' actions had hurt him as well.
I think their first night together went very well, and although it will be a process, at least now they can help each other and take comfort in the closeness they now share. It may very well be a while yet before she wants to have sex, but the emotional dam has been breached, and now the healing can begin.
You handled this subject beautifully with attention to the pain both of them are feeling, but without being unnecessarily dramatic. Well done!Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! It's always a risk when you deal with the topic of rape and the healing process. This is fiction, after all, and there is to be a realistic progression, but how to go about it? Writing such complex characters like Severus and Hermione and then add in the many years before the incident... how does one go about it? I decided to take a gamble on a heart-felt offering olive branch colored with a bit of awkwardness. I hope the next chapter is received as believable enough. Thanks!Livvy
Very intense chapter, even I am scared of Severus's reaction...
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, Snape is going to really lose it when he finds out. Thanks!Livvy
I knew you had something like this planned! But what is it going to do to Severus and Hermione please please don't let them fall into a dark spot. I do hope Severus will hex off Sirus' balls though! Great chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Don't worry. Severus and Hermione's love is too strong to have this ruin what they have. Of course, it will be rough for a little while, but they will make it through. And yes, Severus is going to do some serious damage! Thanks,Livvy
Well you did say in an earlier chapter that the issue of Severus father trying to rape Hermione would be brought up again. It will be interesting to see how he handles her attack now that they are married. It would explain the extra vicious taunting that Severus dools out to Sirius. You wrote this chapter with wonderful sensitivity.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
When Hermione was attacked by Tobias, it served to bring Hermione and Snape together as friends. He knew she understood what it was like to be abused by that man. It's like having "a companion in suffering."Now that Severus has accepted her as an equal and his love for her is unbreakable, he will not blame her for this. He will remind Hermione it wasn't her fault when his father attacked her either.I hope you like how the next chapter goes. Thanks,Livvy
ohh wow, that's horrible. What a mess! Excellent chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! I hope you like how Severus' responds to all of this! Thanks,Livvy
aww man! Stupid Nagini and stupid Albus and stupid HARRY messing up all the fun like that. GAH!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yup! Hermione and Severus can't seem to catch a break, can they? Thanks!Livvy
Oh gods, poor gorl. Like in any rape/attempted rape the girl always thinks ti's her fault - that she caused it! I'm glad that the Order members are intervening. I dread Severus' reaction, but he will have it out with Sirius. Sirius will get what's coming to him I hope. I mean, Dubledore protected the git so many times in the past.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
You hit the nail on the head! That issue will come up and that will be when Severus' looses all control. Thanks!Livvy
How scary, and so typical that the woman feels guilty.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I know, it's terrible. But Hermione just wants it to be as if it never happened and everyone can go back to the way it was, but it can't.Thanks,Livvy
wow, that was incredible. And Snape is going to flip.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
He's going to get his pound of flesh for this! And right in front of Dumbledore. I hope you like it.Thanks,Livvy
That will certainly explain the animosity between the two men. :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Well, it's been brewing for twenty years...Thanks!Livvy
Thank you SO much for not having Hermione raped. It would have been exponentially harder to read. I was fully expecting Sirius to succeed. It's awful that Hermione is blaming herself, but unfortunately believable. As horrible as this all is, it means that the plot will get thicker though. I hope there's some deviation from canon. Severus and Hermione have a long way to go to recover from this. Wondefully written chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Everything will change after the battle at the drpt. of mysteries. Hermione's identity will come out and she will not be attending Hogwarts for six-year, but she will be near-and not with Severus because of Voldemort. Thanks!Livvy
WHAT THE FUCK?! This better have a good meaning behind it - your still a great author but this plot twist is making me a bit ill (not the attempted rape) but more of how it will screw with everyones lives...
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
This will kept secret from Harry and others not in the Order. But, as time goes by, it will come out in the open. Harry's and Hermione's relationship will greatly suffer and his distrust of Hermione when he finally finds out who she really is-all of that together will cause Harry to make a terrible decision that will have repercussions for the rest of the story and someone will die because of his decision.I hope as the chapters go by, you'll see how it goes along with everything else that has been kept from Harry. Thanks,Livvy
Response from Lioness Rampant (Reviewer)
Wow, I think that's the most you've told any reviewer so far of what is to come in the story. I have been reading your response to other reviews for some insight of what is to come in the coming chapters for some time now. Strangely enough I'm not happy with the fact that someone is going to die - please don't let it be Severus or Hermione! Psst - Remus and Tonks should be left alone too, for how badly JKR treated them in the 7th book... just my thoughts...
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Well, I felt you needed to know a bit more so you could see I wasn't just throwing stuff in to screw with our favorite couple. As for the Lupins. I share your thoughts. I thought it was very cruel what Rowling did to them-and Tonks just had a baby! The Lupins will live, don't worry. Thanks,Livvy
Sirius is a dangerous man, and I don't see how he can be allowed to remain anywhere near the witches– any of the witches! He is so jealous of Severus that he would stoop to becoming a rapist! Thank the gods he didn't succeed. I always thought that he was crazy bully. (In fact I thought all of the Marauders were crazy bullies and jealous of everyone.)
When Hermione had retired for the night and this man came into her bed, I first thought "Severus," but it quickly became apparent that Sirius Black had decided that he was going to take what belonged to Severus. I think after Severus finds out, Mr. Black(heart) will be missing his dangly bits. I hope so at any rate. I understand why the Order can't turn him over to the Ministry, but he should be permanently prevented from ever being able to do that to any woman again. Death would be too good for him. Severus should maim him good and proper, and Sirius should have to live with the consequences.
I'm worried about Hermione and the long term damage she may suffer. How will her fears impact her and Severus' marriage? Will she ever be able to make love again without reliving this horror in her mind? If they and their marriage are able to survive this terrible thing that has happened, I hope Severus will start telling Albus to "stuff it" when he comes up with another cockamamie thing to keep them apart.
Harry is a little off right now, and I know Hermione's job is to keep him focused, but I wish she and Severus had been able to spend Christmas at Spinners End instead of her being assaulted.
I can only imagine how difficult this chapter must have been to write. You captured the fear and self-blame that so often claims rape victims. Please let things between Hermione and Severus work out in the end. Please?Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Severus is going to have his way - even though Dumbledore will tell him he can't. I hope you like how Snape avenges his wife. There will be a period of hard times, but they will get through it. Their love is that strong :)Also, the absence of Severus at headquarters... that will come up once Hermione gets her head about her. Thanks!Livvy
Oh my.. I just couldn't stop reading, what a chapter!I must say I knew that something was going to happen between Hermione and Sirius, but I'd never imagined anything like this. I undertand he was pissed off because of her rant at him, but that doesn't justify his attempt at raping her..I really cannot imagine Severus' reaction to this.. And with Sirius in the same room! I hope he won't get angry with Hermione. I can't wait to read more of this story, I love it! :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks!Don't worry. Severus will not be angry with Hermione. He will be very clear about directing his anger. I hope you like the next chapter when Severus comes to headquarters, and Sirius has to face him with what he has done.Livvy
wow. you really don't pull your punches. and for some reason, I really love this chapter. Thanks!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
lol! Glad you liked it :)Thanks,Livvy
Oh, dear! I loved this chapter. The emotion that it evokes is fantastic. First of all, I really feel bad for Sirius. He lost Marlene, he lost his best friends, and did way too much time in Azakaban for a crime he didn't commit. Now he has to see his arch enemy with a girl that he desires and has been refused. And, he is stuck in Grimmauld Place feeling helpless to the Order. Hermione really shouldn't have pushed him, especially knowing the comments that she was making would burn badly. That having been said, nothing she could have ever done to him gives him the right to violate her like that. Alcohol definitely is a factor in things, but he should have known better. Even if he didn't care about her, you'd think he'd have the sense to know that Severus would find out and kick his ass. I am glad that everyone was on her side. It would have made things worse for her to have the group divided over who was at fault. The dilemma of whether or not to tell Severus really is a lose-lose situation. I think she made the right decision in telling him though, for the very reasons that she stated. I also think that it was wise to have others around when he is told. You've left us in a really ugly place. I hope that means that the next chapter is up and running so we aren't hanging too long?!?!?And lest I forget, I liked that she saw Frank and Alice at St.Mungo's and it had her all teary. It was kind of a nice reminder of them from so far back in this story. We rarely get to know much about them, even in fanfic, and that is one of the million things that I like about this story. Truly one of my favorite chapters now, which feels weird to say considering the content, but I am so anxious to see where this goes. I believe you when you say that the repurcussions will last a long time. I hope Severus doesn't do anything stupid. More soon please!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, Sirius has had a lot of pain in his life. I think he just broke apart slowly after his escape. SO many losses and betrayl. He also hasn't matured past the age he was when he was locked up. So, his mind has been in stasis and old grudges are like they were yesterday. SNape is the same, but at least he is a functioning person with a sane mind (even if in in the books and in some fanon he's a bitter fuck :)Hermione will tell Severus and it will be terrible. Severus will have blood for this, but he won't blame Hermione one bit. I'm glad you enjoy the flashbacks. I will do that now and again. Thanks!Livvy
That was intense! I can only imagine that when Severus seeks revenge, the action will become more intense. Man, Sirius acts like a stupid, spoiled child. He doesn't think, he's all id, activing impulsively for pleasure and revenge. That's no way to honor Marlene's memory. But I can't imagine Severus being logical and using that famous self-control when he hears about the attempted rape of his wife. Hermione was wrong to think it was her fault, but she made the right decision to tell Severus about what transpired.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Severus is going to lose it big-time. He's going to be out for blood. Hope you like how I wrote it!Thanks,Livvy
I knew the constant fighting between Sirius and Hermione would eventually come to a head, but I didn't expect this. I think Hermione is making the right decision in telling Severus. If she kept it from him, and he later found out, he would be even more furious with her as well. And he would be extremely hurt and think she didn't trust him. I'm looking forward to seeing what Severus does to Sirius.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It's gonna be good! Because DD thinks he's got it all under control and Severus is not going to give a shit! Thanks!Livvy
shortly: I'm not surprised! You've built up the tension between Sirius and the couple from early on. Sirius is frustrated on each and every level imaginable, incl sexually. Add an insult from the worst side and alcohol... Still, this is no excuse! Sirius has had enough presence of mind to stop himself, but he did not. He didn't show any remorse yet, and he didn't even try to say sorry. Everyone is quite right to support Hermione. As if the couple didn't yet have enough problems without such a bastard. If only Harry didn't admire Sirius so much, he would indeed be quite dispensable for the Order. Fearfully awaiting the next chapter!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes. Early on Sirius had told Hermione she reminded him of Marlene-how brave she is and all that. His hatred of Snape would NEVER allow for him to be getting less than Snape. So, unlike trying to get Snape killed in school, he decided to hurt him in the best way he could-though Hermione. The next chapter is going to be WAY scary. Snape is going to completely lose it.Thanks,Livvy
I'm really loving your story! I was trying to wait until you finished, but it's so hard. When I look at my LJ and see that you've updated it I have to read it
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks so much!I am glad you are enjoying this so much :)Livvy
