Oh, yes. Severus needed to grovel. He was such a beast! Yeah, it's hard when you are holding so much inside and hearing about how "awesome" Sirius was. She lost her temper, as any person can from time to time, but it was not the way to reach Harry. Earlier, Ginny told Hermione at the start of school that she and Harry saw Draco looking at a necklace of opals. Hermione remembered that, so it made the connection. Yes, she did. Unfortunately, she's human and lost her temper, but it was really the worst time to do it, not to mention how she did it. Well, we all know better, but everyone blows it once in a while, teenager or adult. Things will start to be easier for a while with Severus and Hermione. I can't say. It is a rather dangerous situation with Draco and Rosmerta. Right now the focus is on getting the book. Well, Lucius knew about Hermione from the 70's because of the meeting she and Severus had with Voldemort. Then when Hermione returned to the '90s, Lucius and Pettigrew knew Hermione was back and knew about her close relationship with Snape. So when Voldemort came back, guess who came running to tell on Snape and try to discredit him? Those two. Also there was Avery, who never did time in Azkaban after the first war. Severus had to come up with something quick. He admitted to Voldemort that he loved Hermione and reminded him that she was indeed from the future when they had met with him. He said because of their past, he could get Hermione to work and help him with his job as a spy.Severus told Voldemort he married Hermione. It was for self-preservation. After all, Draco was more than likely running to his father telling him Granger was living in the dungeons during fifth year.So when Hermione fought against the Death Eaters at the Ministry, she reveled whose side she really was on. Severus now has to pay for allowing himself to be duped by a Mudblood and a part of that is having Wormtail as his house guest for the summer while being under house arrest. Another part of Snape's punishment is the revealing of his marriage to Hermione, which before only the Order and Voldemort's camp knew. Now everyone in the wizarding world knows, and Snape has been forced by Voldemort to denounce her. He can have no contact with her, and she will have live with everyone knowing she is a wife of a Death Eater, which could place her life in jeopardy. Dumbledore had the marriage under wraps, but Narcissa went to Rita Skeeter and let it be known in an interview with the Daily Prophet about the marriage. There was nothing Dumbledore could do to keep it hidden.More about Severus and Hermione's forced separation will be discussed in later chapters, but in this chapter, Severus explained to Hermione a bit of what had been occurring while she was recovering in the infirmary.It will be very bad and nasty exchange when Harry finds out about Sirius attacking Hermione. It will cause a divide that tear their friendship apart. Harry won't be able to process or accept what Sirius did. But, Ron and Ginny will come back after the summer with a more accepting attitude. Ginny will confide in Hermione about things, and Ron will be like, "whatever". Harry's anger and odd behavior will draw Ron and Ginny toward Hermione.I know it was shorter, but others will be longer.
