Two years?? I really can't believe it either! ^^I'm sad that this story is going to end soon, but at the same time I'm desperate to know how you will conclude it!Loved this chapter, hope you update soon!:)

This chapter is filled with such warring emotions.  In a matter of moments, they find out that Andromeda has lost her husband and Tonks her father, and then Remus arrives to comfort them.  It's a wonder they all haven't lost their minds by now.I understood just why Hermione decided that she couldn't stay there any longer, but I don't think she would have been able to leave Serena if Andromeda hadn't been there to reassure her that she would watch over the baby's grave.When Remus told Hermione that Harry needed her help, I laughed.  Her reaction was totally justified.  I'm glad that Remus was able to tell her about how hard Severus has been working to protect the children at Hogwarts.  That brought her a huge measure of relief to know that he hadn't just given up on keeping as many people safe from the Carrows, et al.  I wasn't surprised that Hermione pretty much told them that Harry could take a hike, that she had given all she could to the boy-who-turned-his-back-on-his-friend.  But I was surprised that she said she was through fighting.  Can't blame her for feeling that way, but in the end I think she will fight... and fight with a vengence.Seeing Hagrid and her other friends was a very good thing, and I can't wait to see how this all works out.  I can't believe we're so close to the end.  What a fabulous story!!!Beth

It's good Hermione's finally out of the house. Great chapter as always! Brilliant work on the qsychology of it all too.

I love Remus' reaction to Hermione.  She needed to get her anger and hurt out.  I think she will do well with Hagrid.  I can understand her outrage at Harry also.  He let his anger over the situation rule his common sense.  Hermione has given too much for the war and I totaly understand her reasoning for not wanting to fight anymorePlease update soon.  I so love this story.

Ok I  have to admit that reading this story has almost become embarrassing for me.  I read while on lunch at work and the last few chapters have been so well written that I feel all the emotions you are putting your characters through and I very nearly cry every chapter!  Of course it also happens that at the height of the chapter's intensity one of my colleagues with stop by to speak to me and look at me with astonishment that I am on the verge of tears.  I am going to have to start waiting until I get home and that sucks too!Thanks for another wonderful, rollercoaster ride of a chapter.  I look forward to the reunion next time, JoAnne

God, has it really been two years? I guess so. I seem to form attachments to stories and then hate it when they have to end. This will be no exception. That was an amazing chapter. I really like the closure with Remus. I'm looking forward to your next chapter (even though it means we are closer to the end).

2 years has it really been that long?? I'm glad Remus told Hermione about how Severus was doing. I can't wait for their reunion. i do hope it will be a happy one.

I'm glad that she had that talk, and outburst with Remus. I know it helped her. I'm disappointed in her outburst that she won't fight, but considering everything, I suppose she's lost enough. I'm glad that Remus and Tonks now know why she's resentful of Harry. I know that the prat would need her, and smirked at Hermione's reaction to Harry's request.

I would like to start by apologizing for my lack of reviewing on this story.  I was shocked to see that I only commented after the first chapter when I have faithly read each one to come along and loved the journey you are taking these characters on. [I hang my head in shame.]  Your plot is excellent and the work you put into, not only the main characters, but also the secondary ones has been wonderful.  The last few chapters have been hard with the intensity and emotional turmoil.  But this is that type of story and it doesn't seem forced or phony in your storylines.The attic hiding aspect of this latest chapter is quite interesting and something I don't think I have seen before with these characters.  I look forward to the rest of your story and promise to review more faithfully from now on.  Thanks, JoAnne

My heart goes out to Hermione.  I don't know what I would do if I went through a still birth.  I hope that she can come to grips that if Severus knew, he would be with her and try to comfort her as best as he could while he was working through his own pain.  I think that when he does find out it will be worse for him for he couldn't do anything for her.  You wrote this so beautifuly and with such compassion.   Please update soon.P.S.  I though I had review this chapter but just realized that I hadn't.  Sorry about that.

My god. This is an amazing chapter. I'm grateful you updated- the wait is always worth it. I'll be waiting patiently for the next installment. I can understand Hermione's feelings of abandonment and despair. Her world is falling apart. What's happening on Harry and Severus's end of things?

You continue to astound me more and more with each chapter that comes out!  What a extremely sad and confusing time for Hermione.  I just want to run right over and give her a huge hug!  But only her husband can fill that spot in the grieving process that she desperately needs now.  I know it is a big risk, but there has to be a way, somehow, to get a message to him.  I also worry about how Severus is doing.  While the Tonks girls are not what Hermione needs, at least she has them.  Does he have anyone with whom he can relax, and let his guard down, and talk to about his feelings?  I doubt it.  He must be feeling terribly alone and scared.  I guess at least he doesn't have to deal with the hormones and the doubt of whether or not his spouse is loyal to him.  They are both just in such a bad place right now.I'm not sure how I think Severus will react to the news.  I hope it will be whatever Hermione needs, but I also hate that he will have further burden placed upon him.  Still,  he will have to know at some point, and they will only get through it together.  I also wonder if she will discuss her doubts with him, or if finally seeing him and having him in her arms be enough to allay all of her fears?  Even just some news from a reliable source that all is not as it seems might hold her over.  Oh please give her something!  My heart aches for them both.As for the footlocker... you have creeped out my inner claustrophobic *shudders*

Going through such grief is hard labour, and you depict it very well. Sharing it with someone makes thing s little easier, sure, but A or N are just not Severus.  Of course Hermione starts doubting him: she's got only news suggesting it--and plenty of those.An excellent chapter, as were so many before, but you always manage to top them with the next one.

hmmm - i'm looking forward to when Severus can help Hermione through this even more..

Wow, this chapter was pretty emotionally deep.  Poor Hermione!!  Severus needs to let her know what is going on.  Andomeda and Tonks have been wonderfully supportive to Hermione, haven't they?  Now, Hermione can help support Tonks when her baby arrives...if she isn't captured first.UPDATE

Ok, now that I can see through my watery eyes...I hope that Hermione will grab on to that magical thrumming between her and Severus and hold on for dear life.  What she needs now is hope and to not let her sacrifice be in vain.  She and Severus have certainly sacrificed their share for the "Light".  I hope that things will begin to fall into place now and that they will at least see each other soon.Wonderful story - looking forward to the next update!  Soon, I hope!
