I've been following this fic since the beginning, and you've made me laugh, cry and get mad, sometimes all at once.  This was a gorgeous epic of a fic.  Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.  I love your version of the Final Battle and the way things worked out all around.  It's been a great ride, and I'm sad it's over.

I really really REALLY enjoyed reading this wonderful story.  I loved how you described how Severus and Hermione becomming friends and then falling in love in the 70s.  Everything you wrote about Sev and Hermione was in character and beautiful.  Thank you for writing this and I look forward to reading more in the future!:)

What an emotional roller-coaster!  I have loved each chapter.  I am sure that this willl become one of those stories that  are a "standard" by which others are judged.

Oh Livvy, you've outdone yourself this time.  I was a big old mess of tears, and I don't quite know if they were happy or sad.I'm glad to see that Severus will be returning to Hogwarts.  The school needs him to get back on it's feet, and it is great that he doesn't have such hard feelings towards everyone that he denies himself the chance to help them rebuild.  But he is doing it on his own terms and that is important as he has been ruled by the choices of others for far too long.It always thrills me when stories come full circle and you are doing just that; Bringing up the past, but in a way that relates to their future.  It seems like oh so long ago that they had their encounter at the club.  At the time, his reaction and words to her meant nothing to us, but it is now so clear how much had transpired prior to that meeting.  He vividly remembers how good she looked, but acknowledges that she will never have quite the same body, and at this point in his life, maybe that is preferable to him.  The visit and subsequent vacate of Spinner's End was well done.  It would be conflicting to decide if the good memories can outweigh the bad.  Still, in the end, they made the right decision.  I'm still mourning the loss of the record store.  It would have been great for them to go back and relieve those memories!Harry did the right thing by apologizing in person, and he seemed totally sincere in his remorse.  Hermione was very mature in her ability to forgive him and even offer to share memories of his parents.  Their friendship will never be what it once was or could have been, but I think they are well on their way to mending what was broken as best they can.And the moving of the grave was so emotional.  I am glad that Severus will get the chance to hold her even if it isn't the same as it could have been.  It will surely provide some closure for him as well as peace of mind for Hermione.I am devastated that we are so near the end!  I am trying to figure out what I think the perfect ending would be and I am coming up blank.  I love that they are getting to finally live as a married couple should, and I have no doubt that they will have more babies and open and apothacary if that is what they desire.  I just don't know what to expect from the final bits.  But I have total confidence that this will go out on top.  It is one of the classic SS/HG, and noone can claim to be a true fan of the ship without having experienced this ride.

This has been such an emotionally moving chapter, as we see Severus and Hermione taking steps toward finally building the future they always dreamed of.  Selling Spinner's End and breaking the ties to the past hurts and misfortunes they endured was a much-needed step for them, and I'm glad they were able to bring the things which elicted the memories they loved along with them to their new place.  When my husband and I purchased our first home together it was such a scary and exhilarating experience, a brand-new start on a path we chose as a couple.I'm also thrilled that Harry manned up and came by to sincerely apologize for everything and do his best to mend fences.  Between all the work he's done to insure their fair treatment by the Ministry and the wizarding public, as well as the private apology, it's obvious he's feeling a lot of guilt over his past actions.  As he should, but hopefully he'll be able to move past it with a renewed friendship and put some of his own personal demons to rest as well.The moving of Serena's gravesite to their new home was beautiful; not only was Hermione able to gain some final closure to the whole incident of her baby's death, but it also allowed Severus to have a part in the grieving process as well.  Now they'll always be able to watch over their first born and keep their family together.I'm so sad that this story is nearly over!  And yet, I can't wait for the next chapter...

Finally some piece for this couple! I loved how they handled Spinner's End and also that Harry wasn't forced to crawl on his knees. Stupid as he was, he's a teenager even now.True, too that Hermione can give Harry authentic memories--I never thought of it!BTW did a half-sentence get lost explaining that Severus flew or hovered over Hermione and Harry?

I'm glad they are starting to have some peace at last. Can't wait for the last chapters!

What a great chapter, Livvy.  It had so many emotional moments, both happy and sad.  But the effect is more than the sum of these moments.  Severus was able to hold and care for Serena which I think was crucially important for both of them.  Then there was the finding and refurbishing of the home they chose in Hogsmeade that combind the best memories of their past with the glorious plans for their future.  I can't tell you how important I thought this was that you wrote about it.  We can never leave behind all of our memories of the past, but we can chose how much they effect our future by facing them and then choosing the ones that will support and inform our future.  I know because I've done it.  It is a vital component in building a future together and leaving the unhappiness behind were it belongs.  Kudos to you for addressing this.I am beyound glad that Harry stepped up and took responsibility for his gross misjudgements of Hermione and Severus, and he did it in person... not by letter.  I can't believe that this story is almost finished.  I am of two minds.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for the Snapes family, and I will miss the updates when you close the final chapter.  This is one helluva tale, and I think in years to come it will take its place as one of the classics in our SSHG ship.  Well done!!!Beth

I loved it!This chapter had a little of everything on it, I laughed and cried alternately throughout it. It just couldn't be better!I sincerely don't know what else you've got prepared for the following two chapters, but I'm desperated to know how this story will end! (Even though it's kind of sad to know it will end so soon!)

Oh, that was so emotional.  I'm glad that they were able to move Serena's remains to their garden.  I had tears running down my face.  I can't believe that there are only two more chapters left.  It's been an amazing story.  I am hoping that you will start another story... please  :-)

OMG, yea another totally awesome chapter.  I am totally speechless.  Once again you have brought tears to my eyes.  This chapter gave everything.  I love that Severus and Hermine are moving on with their lives but at the same time are still holding on to a bit of their past.  I am glad that Harry came to make peace.  Now Severus has held his baby girl and is able to say goodbye.

Thats was a beautiful chapter, with so much hope and love.  You've done a fantastic job writing this.

Lovey chapter, they are finally moving forward with thier lives together. The last part of this chapter had me in tears, but at least Severus and Hermione know that their daughter is resting peacefully.

Ack!! 3 chapters left?? I really really really hope this story is still being updated. It has quickly become one of my favorites. I started reading it at Ashwinder and hopped over here to get the unedited version of things once they were finally able to be married. They've endured so much, I cannot help but hope things turn out alright, despite Severus' misgivings at the end of this chapter.

So sorry, I read this when it came out, and then got distracted and didn't review.  Consequently, I don't remember too many particulars, but I know that this was a great chapter, as always, and very emotion filled.  The end is so near, I don't know whether to rejoice or cry!

Those Marauders are such bullies.  It's too bad Hermione doesn't know the truth about Peter at this point but I guess there wouldn't be anything she could do about it anyway.  Great chapter.

This was intriguing.  I wish Hermione could do something for the Potters since she's back in that time period, but I guess you can't use time turners to change the past.  This is so strange and I can't wait to see where you go.  Great chapter.

This is one of those stories that I wish would go on forever. Your way of writing is amazing! You could actually see Severus and Hermione holding each other on that hill. The way Hermione told Severus about the baby and his reaction was very true-to-life and made me cry. Well done!! I can't wait to read the next chapter!!

At last they're together!  She really did leave Harry to fend for himself (well, with help), and Severus now knows about Serena.  I loved the paragraph where Severus tells her, we’ve suffered through so much, I couldn't forget you if I tried.  She despaired along the way, but that's done.  I do hope someone finds a way to send word of Harry's victory.  Thank you for the new chapter!

I had to re read this chapter it was so good.  Severus' pain is so palpable.
