I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.
Admins' Note: Livvy6 died suddenly on February 22, 2012, leaving behind her husband, six-year-old daughter, and seventeen stories well-loved by the TPP community. All who knew her—including those in Harry Potter fandom and all of us, here—are richer for having known her.
Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.

oh... sooo um can you put a little playful bdsm in there? or maybe just bd? it sounds so arousing sometimes... wow I'm gonna just shut up now... great chapter as always and can't wait for the next one - btw HOW will Harry learn of our main couple if they keep obliviating him?!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It will all come out and everyone will know the truth. No more Obliviates for Harry :)I'll see what I can do for some bdsm ;)Thanks!Livvy
Wow, each and every chapter lives up to the wait. I live for your updates. At first I was not to sure of this story. I am so glad I gave it a chance. Please update soon.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! Spread it around. I feel so dorky doing self-pimpage :) I'm glad you gave it chance. There have been a few people who said they weren't going to get sucked into another TT story only for it to be abandoned. But when they saw that I wrote about it already written, they went ahead. Thanks a lot!Livvy
My goodness, this was a busy chapter! Things are happening so quickly that I don't know how any of them maintain their sanity. I'm alarmed that with Dumbledore elsewhere, Harry will not listen to anything he is being told about concentrating on learning Occlumency. And on top of that, he is obsessed with viewing Severus' memories, and then he has to be Obliviated. What a mess.
I'm worried, too, that Sirius may be communicating with Harry, and with his sick mind there is no telling what lies he might be telling Harry. When Severus brought Harry in their quarters after catching him going through his Pensieve and saw Hermine there in her revealing nightgown, I thought to myself, "will that boy ever learn to follow orders?" But then I remembered how young he is and how relentless Voldemort has been in getting into his mind, and I had to do a quick re-think.
The one thing that did seem to get better is that through the talk Severus and Hermione had when he came back from the last revel, they have been able to be intimate again. I hope they will be able to remain that way, but with Voldemort seemingly going into high gear, I'm afraid there will be more and more required of Severus and he will feel the need to withdraw again.
I can't wait to see where you take this next!Beth

It will be an interesting summer-that's for sure. And an extremely volitile night at the Ministry of Magic! Thanks!Livvy
I do hope Hermione is right.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I am sure she does as well. But she has no choice. She has to make sure Harry doesn't get himself killed. Thanks!Livvy
I don't know why, but it seems that the upcoming chapters will be quite tense.Poor Severus! He's so distressed and confused ... And also poor Harry, he just keeps getting Obliviated! The previous chapter was really good, I hadn't have time to read it before. Can't wait to read more!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
The next chapter is going to be explosive. Hermione and the others will come face to face with Lucius Malfoy and others who knew Hermione from the past. The time for secrets will nearly be over. Thanks!Livvy
Scary scary, oh shit, scary and then, guh/ With a side dish of drool.~Mia
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! I'm happy to accomodate your many emotional responses :)Thanks!Livvy
Well, Hermione handled that rather poorly! Rather than try to fabricate half truths that would appease Harry, such as having read about Regulus and Marlene, that Marlene was in Gryffindor the same time as his parents – that in the old papers she’d read how Travers had killed Marlene… and she’d equated the story to herself and Sirius Black in her nightmares. The Occlumency is easy enough – she was practically Snape’s apprentice and she’d been learning it hoping to be able to help him –to find out why it was so hard for him – only he resists learning. To his determent. But no, she’s silent and lets Harry get all frustrated to the point that he’s not trusting her anymore. That’s a significant swing from canon. Then he looked in the Pensive and saw the truth and Severus Oblivated him again. These holes are going to tear a rift between Harry and Hermione, irreparable – and when he NEEDs her he won’t trust her!
At least Severus and Hermione are back on track and things seem all right between them.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
But Harry does trust her and needs her. He said "she was the only Order member left at Hogwarts. He doesn't trust Snape and even though Harry knows he is in the Order doesn't count him. He also feels the Order doesn't care about Harry. It makes you wonder what Sirius might be telling him when they visit.Hermione will be there, and she will fight alongside him at the MoM. But, you did foreshadow a point. The trust between Harry and Hermione will start to give. Just not at this point. Thanks!Livvy
I loved it in canon when Umbridge put a ban on The Quibbler. I was appalled that Hermione Oblivated Harry, but understand as to why. good chapter. I knew that when she finally alllowed Severus 'in' she would be fine.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It was a shocking thing for everyone who was in the know. Hermione hated doing, but she cannot let Harry know anything of her real life. If he knew she was a Legilimens, for example, or if she knew how to throw off the Imperious Curse, Voldemort could find out. Harry's mind, it seems, is up for grabs. It's better for Harry to be ignorant of Hermione's real life and role. Safer for him and everyone in the Order. Thanks!Livvy
Those are dangerous last words. Very nice chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, they are. More trouble on the way next chapter. Thanks!Livvy
Oh dear, the calm before the storm I'm afraid. It was a nice healing chapter for them, even if things are going to get bad again. I'm glad that he knows he can tell her what he is thinking and feeling, even if it doesn't come easily to him. I think that is going to be important the further into this mess that they get. There are so many emotions running high right now. Aside from the obvious between Severus and Hermione, Harry is confused, and angry, and scared. That on top of the myriad of emotions that are coursing through a normal teenage boy. And Hermione, I don't think anyone can quite comprehend how hard it is for her to constantly be amongst teenagers when she is so much more mature. How can she really even relate anymore? And how many times can they obliviate Harry before it starts causing damage? In canon, we really don't know much of what goes on when the deatheaters get together. You did a nice job filling in the gaps and applying the appropriate emotions from Severus. It kind of makes you wonder how he survived as long as he did in canon with noone to care for him.I am more eager than ever to continue on in this tale. Keep 'em coming quickly!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I'll do my best! You are right. This is the calm before the storm. The next two chapters will be heightened in angst and fear, then here comes the Judge! Everyone is going to find out about Hermione's life into the past. Thanks!Livvy
Yay for Sev and Hermione being all right again. :) The whole chapter was great, but you probably knew I was going to say that... I wish my reviews could be a bit more original. Oh well. :) I can't wait to find out what in the world you are going to do with 6th year. Happy Thanksgiving Livvy. ~Barb
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! Thanks :) 6th year is going to be very different. Hermione won't even be in school, but it will all be explained in time.Thanks!LivvyP.S. Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Nice chapter, I was surprised by Severus's sexual desires. Good thing Hermione is OK with it.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Severus is really desperate for an outlet. He is constantly on the go, orders from DD and Voldy-he's tired. Thanks!Livvy
Nice chapter! Liking how Hermione and Severus are getting caught out more, with the pensieve, Hermiones dreams and the legimens debacle.Poor harry though, oblivated twice. Might he go a little brain damaged? I like the twist with Severus admitting his darker desires... kinda hoping they dabble....teeheethanks for the great chatperxo
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! Oh, Severus and Hermione will have time for some exploration in time :)Don't worry about Harry. His mind will be fine. Thanks!Livvy
someday this whole Obliviating-Harry thing is going to have to be resolved. I'm worried. When is she going to stop letting it happen? In your arc, is hermione going to go on the camping trip with harry? I worry that there are going to be some trust issues here...
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Don't worry. Harry will not be Obliviated again. Harry is going to find out very soon the truth. And no, Hermione will not go with Harry. The reason will be huge and a lot will have changed between Harry and Hermione by that time. Thanks,Livvy
He will need all the support he can get over the next year. :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, he will, but the question will be-will he accept the help? Thanks!Livvy
yay! it finally happened. these things take time, especially how the assault happened. terrific update. thanks and much smoochies
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! These two love each other so deeply, nothing can come in between them for long. They will always find a way back to each other. Thanks!Livvy
Finally they were able to share the intimacy that Sirius had denied them with his horrid attack on Hermione. This was a very big step for Hermione, and I'm so glad that Severus had been able to give her the time to come to terms with her warring emotions. His eloquent appeal for her to help him understand what was going through her thoughts was filled with love and need. He needed to know so he would know how to help her instead of frighten her. Thankfully she was able to unburden herself to him, and tell him the things she had not been able to tell anyone. It's as if a dam holding in tons of hurt and fear had begun to dissolve with a very small break, and finally the dam burst and let all of the old and festering pain flow away. The healing had begun... for both of them.Thank you for this very emotional and satisfying chapter. Well done.Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I'm glad you liked it! This was a really big step for both of them. Thanks,Livvy
Yay, progress! It is funny how the fear of doing something is usually so much worse than the actual doing it. Now that this bridge is crossed, they are well on their way to getting back to good.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
They will, but Harry and the Death Eaters are going to do a number on them. It's like they can't get a break-but they will never give up on one another. Thanks!Livvy
Finally progress! great chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you!Livvy
Yay, they might be back to normal! I'm relieved that Hermione zapped Harry's memory of seeing her as a long-ago student, but not looking forward to seeing Sirius' next appearance in the story. Disaster-ville! Thanks for the new chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
She had to obliviate Harry, there just wasn't anything wlse she could do. Just wait until Harry sneaks a peak into Snape's Pensieve!ThanksLivvy
Yay, they're back!! Great work!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you!Livvy
She's finally moved along in her healing. I'm surprised she didn't tell Severus this story sooner. The Obliviate on Harry was great.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! That was the only thing she could do. Harry would have seen through her lying about it. Harry's not stupid. A bit hard-headed, but not stupid.Sometimes, it is the people closest to you that you find it hard to talk about humiliating things. And for some, they don't want their spouse thinking about it when they are being intimate. It's just hard all around to talk about it.Thanks!Livvy
Glad they worked that out.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Glad you liked it :)Thanks!Livvy
Very nice. A few more obliviates might do Harry some good.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL! I think Severus would agree to that! Thanks,Livvy
Finally, their back together!!! =D Okay, now when Harry sees into the pensive is Hermione or Snape going to oblivate him then too? And if they keep obliviating him then how is he ever going to realize the truth like you said he would?
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I don't want to spoil how that all works out. But he will find out, just like everyone else about Hermione being married to Snape and her past life. It's coming soon. Promise :)Thanks!Livvy
