I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Reviews for A Change is Going to Come
Sorry I haven't reviewed any of the previous chapters, but I've read the entire story so far in one go and couldn't bear to take the few minutes to review before going to the next chapter! So bad me, but it's a good indication of how engrossing your overall tale is, right? Anyway, I just wanted to say that I really like this story up to this point; there are tons of Time Turner stories out there, and this one manages to set itself apart. I thought you took a real chance on setting up Lily's personality the way you have, and in my opinion it's paid off handsomely. That among other things really allowed this particular Time Turner story to stand out from the pack. Also, it's very interesting that despite Hermione's "interference", none of the major occurences that she knows happened in the past have been prevented--at least, not so far. It will be neat to find out if it was because Hermione was there that these things happened to begin with, or if there are just certain things that cannot be changed no matter how hard you try because they are meant to happen. I'm looking forward to reading more of this. Please keep on writing!

Thank you! As I wrote in the beginning, I already have this fic done. It is just now with my beta writers so there will be no chance of it being abandoned :)I hope you continue to enjoy! Thanks,Livvy
Oh god. Oh no. This is awful. I seriously wanted to cry when I read those last lines. What are they going to do? How horrible! And now she's having thoughts like she doesn't even want to get back to her own time because of Severus and now she can't see him. Argh! I feel so bad for her like seriously... Can you tell I'm a Hufflepuff? Anyways. I'm going to stop crying to you about the unfair crappyness of the situation and just wait for Chapter 19. Please update again soon. Much Love ~ Brena
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! Remember, Severus and Hermione are fighters and they won't let go without a fight. Thanks!Livvy
Wow, The Order is coming to get you! That's just crazy. I think if I were Hermione I would have cracked by now and just told people what I knew of "The Future". Seriously I don't think I could handle it. I can totally see how everything is just kinda snowballing now, all hell is about to break loose! I'm so afraid for her too. She's got to go meet with Moldie Voldie and that's just not good. Especially since she doesn't even really belong there. This is such a great story and I totally can't wait to see what happens! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks, it is snowballing now, we'll have to wait for where the ride will take them. Sad still,ThanksLivvy
Umm, I didn't like that last part there. The part about her being friendly with Snape will cost her her life. Nope, didn't like that at all. Nope, nope, nope. Very interesting training. Not sure whether I liked their tactics there either. The admonitions and instructions if they get caught really brought everything to reality. Hopefully, they'll never need to use such guidance, but it's best to be prepared.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, it is quite dangerous, after all-war and all that. However, they are smart and know how to work around things. They won't let that get in their way of loving each other. Thanks!Livvy
Oh no! Its the ultimatum! Oh no, no, no... poor Hermione! Poor Severus! And Moody is creepy...
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Moody is extreme, isn't he? Always the fanatic! Well, we know Severus and Hermione aren't keen on being told what to do by people they think have no business dicating to them about their lives, so we'll see...Thanks!Livvy
Oh! How terrible for Hermione!Moody was such a hard arse!I know there are good reasons for it, but he is an overly supersticious prick! This is getting so hard to read, but I just can't tear my eyes from it!Great job as usual!Angela~~
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! I know it was a hard chapter for some, but thanks for sticking it out! Thanks,Livvy
Are there really people out there who romanticise war and heroism? Thanks for reminding us that it's a nasty business.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Unfortunately, yes. I, however, do not. War is a nasty business and for Hermione, she needs to be extrememly prepared. Don't want Voldemort getting into her head or controlling her! Thanks,Livvy
great work here - love your build up of secondary characters - really nice dialoge - can't wait to see where you go next
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you! Moody is a interesting character to write. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's going to be an interesting ride-more twists and turns to come. Thanks!Livvy
Poor Hermione. Poor Severus too, I wonder what his summer has been like. I also think when they meet it's going to be very hard for both of them to be 'Business like'.I'm on the edge of my seat, as per usual!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yeah, business... we'll have to see how sneaky these two can be!Thanks,Livvy
She cannot give up Severus -- they have come so far ... poor Hermione.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
She won't. She will fight tooth and nail to keep him no matter what others tell her. Thanks,Livvy
Wow, what a powerful chapter!! Great!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I'm glad you liked it!Thank you!Livvy
.... can I say I hate the context of that last saying by Moody??! What the heck are you trying to do to sev and hermione?! This story is getting complicated and I want it to get back to being at moderately nice and less drama.... just one chapter of no drama. Hearing that Hermione apparently ate dog food is pretty disgusting btw...
I still love this story, and will continue reading (as if I truly have a choice?!) but I didn't love this chapter...
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yeah, is was hard to write as well. War is erupting around Hogwarts and one year is left before these people leave school and start going into battle. It ain't going to be pretty. But remember, at the beginning of the fic in chapter 1, there was Severus and Hermione, September of 1981, still in love, but has had a time of it being seperated. But the love is still there. So, they will find a way! I promise some light-hearted moments, especially when they finally start having sex! Hot dog! Thanks,Livvy
What the heck kind of training is this? That's horrible. How old is she in this chapter? Nobody in the real Order trains like that, so this leaves me disliking this a great deal more. It might be prudent to your plot, but I think it takes away from the story you've been building. I think sometimes authors have a desire to shock reader into reaction. You've certainly received that with me, but I think you could have accomplished an excellent training session without all of this--something fun and challenging. Instead, this leaves me feeling a bit dirty. I mean this in a nice way. I just hope you take my words and consider them in the future.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks for reviewing. I understand your "this is gross!" reaction. So you know, Hermione is seventeen. I didn't do it for "shock value," just out of what research I did on Voldemort and how he used and abused his Death Eaters. I couldn't get the image out of my mind how he placed Draco under the Imperius Curse and made him perform the Cruciatus Curse on Death Eaters who had disappointed him in DH. Then there was the whole Charity Burbage thing, not to mention how he basically raped Bertha Jorkins' mind until she was just a husk of a person and then disposed of her. The wizard was pure evil, so I wrote the chapter with that canon "reality" in mind. Not for shock value, but for a realistic expectation of the kind of skills they would need to fight these people. Hermione especially with what she knows needs to be trained harder than the others in order to protect her mind. It is that vital Voldemort does not find out she is from the future and knows about Harry Potter and his own demise.Writing it really wrung me out. THen, of course, I had to deal with the uber-fanatic Moody and his distrust of Hermione. I really felt that I needed to push Hermione past her limits to make her stronger becuase she will need to be strong and disciplined in her mind for what is to happen. There will be chapter coming up soon that I think you will adore. Hermione will have a week-end where all the Gryffindors will be forced to remain in the tower because Moldy-butt is coming to see Dumbledore about wanting a job, and also to plant a horcrux. Hermione and the others will put their differences aside and have a "training day" where people can teach others their specialties and there will be prizes for the winners. I even have an excellent part for Sirius and James where they get a run for their money by a little witch no one expected to be such a fantastic duelist (and it isn't anyone we've seen yet). So I think you will enjoy that. Thanks!Livvy
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Reviewer)
Where did you read that Voldemort put Draco under the Imperius and had him Crucio Death Eaters that disappointed him? I would definitely need to read that again, having never seen that in canon. I wonder how I could have missed something like that. It sounds like someone's fanfiction story I've read.I've done a lot of research on Voldemort myself for writing purposes, and I know he's no walk in the park, but he's got better things to do than play sexual games with his prey. He's actually quite a smooth talker (look at all the times we see him in the Horcrux memories for instance). The only thing he rapes is someone's mind. We know there are no such things as Dark Revels (parties of rapes and pillaging). JKR's told us that. I'm just saying that Moody could have been throwing other curses at her while Kingsley tried to get into her mind. Moody might be a fanatic, but I don't think he's so dirty to do all that to a kid in his care for training. And I really don't feel Kingsley would be a part of that.It really just makes me want to give up reading, for fear only more of the same is to come. It's just frustrating for me and disappointing. I thought, "Ah, this is going to be a great story," and then ... I dunno. Same old thing, different day maybe? Or maybe it feels like the story took a turn in a different direction lately. I'm not certain.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
When I wrote, "I'll Be There," which was an OC/SS is basically had DH open at all times on my desk because I wanted to work my OC into canon. I hated the LACK of Snape in DH.It was page 174 of DH. Voldemort is speaking, "More, Rowle, or shall we end it and feed you to Nagini? Lord Voldemort is not sure he will forgive this time... You called me back for this, to tell me that Harry Potter has escaped again? Draco, give Rowle another taste of our displeasure... Do it, or feel my wrath yourself!""...Malfoy's gaunt, petrified face seemed branded on the inside of his eyes. Harry felt sickened by what he had seen, by the use to which Draco was now being put by Voldemort."Look, I don't know what kind of time Voldemort has or doesn't for whatever. He enjoys various kinds of torture, either by his own hand or making others to it while he looks on. He is a sadist, and rape, through history, has always been used as a means to interrogate, strike fear, and disable the enemy. If he has time to sit around and have Charity Burbage in a spinning whirl on display, I'm sure he doesn't mind what his Death Eaters are doing to extract information from prisoners. This isn't a "revel," this is war.Moody was very angry because he was going through this over and over with Hermione, and she wasn't getting it. This was his "Hail, Mary" pass. His way to trigger a desperate response that would push her further to do what needed to be done. He didn't start out with humiliating things, like eating dog food or sexual coercion, but he needed for her to push past herself and learn to combat it! And as you see, they were proud of her, and Moody even laughed at her tenacity at crashing him into the water.I understand your concern, but believe me, this story is going to take a sharp left turn and everything that has been going on to prepare for war will change drastically for Hermione, and rape or torture will have nothing to do with it. This story is not going to go down the road I think you are dreading. Keep with it, and if after the huge reveal, where this story goes completely into a direction that I swear I have never read in any fanfiction (though, probably someone has written about it, somewhere and I haven't read it), you aren't fine with it, then stop reading. But this is not going to turn into a gratutitous fic for shock value. This is a love story. Thanks!Livvy
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Reviewer)
~jots down page for later reading~ Looks like from early on in the book. I look forward to reading it again--when I have time.My "revel" was just an example. I wasn't saying you were writing about one, just showing her (the author's) distaste to the whole "rape this and that" in fanfiction and how people carry on with things. And about Voldemort, I don't dispute he's cold and ruthless. Just saying, he'd rather kill / Crucio than check someone's knickers to humiliate them. He's so much deeper than that. I believe Burbage had all her clothes on. HahahaI have no qualms about quitting a story that I've been reading because I don't like it (though it's hard to escape my turn to admin it in queue), and as you see, I have no trouble voicing my opinions on it either. It's just frustrating because yes, I have read some of your stories, and I feared that this was going down their road. I remember you telling me something a while back about Hermione and what she's going to become, which DOES have to do with rape/women being taken advantage of?. So you can see my concern for what the next chapters "could" be filled with. I just wanted to tell you that it was so much better and that you didn't have to go that route and still have it stand on its own. And yes, it's very hard to be original in the fandom these days. Someone's always saying, "Been there, Done that."
Poor Hermione.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
She's stronger now than ever. She had to go through hell to prepare for the other side. After all this is war, not a garden party. People are going to die and Dumbledore doesn't her to be one of them! So she needed to get tough. Thanks!Livvy
OH wow, Moody is ruthless and the attacks with him and Kingsley, were intense. I really feel for Hermione.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
But she got through and proved herself! Now she's got respect and has earned her place in the Order. She'll need that strength to get through the last year of school.Thanks,LivvyP.S. I haven't forgotten you :) Keep looking in to see the chapter dedicated to you!
Oh dear! No fraternising? Not even a teensy snog? The training descriptions were great! :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! I'm glad you appreciated the seriousness I wanted to show in this chapter.Livvy
I like that you used Moody as an escapee. I think that's a terribly clever way to use his injuries. =] Scary and sad that the training was so horrible, but I doubt fighting the Death Eaters is a garden party! LOL
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I just used that phrase in a review earlier. This is war, not a garden party! It has to be grueling, especially for Hermione. She has to protect that mind of hers from Voldie! Thanks,Livvy
OMG! Wow! What an update! Excellently written and with great detail. I was so absorbed. When it ended I couldn't believe it. I believe my thought was, "What? No! It can't stop there!""Any hint of fraternizing with the enemy will cost you your life."I got chills. Poor Hermione. I'm really curious how Snape fared this summer. I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh, yes. Hermione's life is going to feel nothing short of a rich, full waster! Our lovebirds have got to be careful. Thanks!Livvy
Fraternizing?!...business interactions only?!......if they only knew!!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It's going to be a rough year for them, but they'll make it-eventually.Thanks!Livvy
At least she stood up to Sirius. She doesn't know he was innocent so that is going to colour all her interactions with him.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
That's right. There is so much she doesn't know and her relationship with Sirius will continue to be a problem. Thanks,Livvy

Oh, dear, all of them seem so sad. I can see that Lily is too afraid to make a decision or take a stand, but as Hermione told her, the day will come when she will have to choose.
The personalities you have crafted for all them is spot on. Severus and Sirius are both angry young men, James is infatuated with himself, Remus is a really nice guy, and Peter hasn't shown himself too much yet. And Hermione is trying desparately to survive until she can return to her own time without changing anything.I can't wait to see the next update. Well done, livvy!Beth

I'm glad you like the story. I always thought after I read DH that it might have been very overwhelming for Lily with these boys clamoring for her attentions.Yes, that will be the issue, won't it? What will happen and what won't.Thanks,Livvy

I'm hooked! I'm glad you gave the readers a heads-up about the part the coke plays in the story; it helped me place everything in the story in some kind of context.I can only imagine that this will be a whale of a tale before all is said and done. Thirty years gives us lots of room and time to play in this story, and I am looking forward to following along wherever you take us.The way you depict each character is so intriguing... I have no idea what direction(s) this story will take, but I aim to find out!Beth

The idea that the problems start at the beginning of third year makes sense--the accident with the time turner. I also like the fact that the marauders don't all instantly think Hermione is wonderful. This feels much more natural.Nice start!
