I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.
Reviews for A Change is Going to Come
Well. That went better than I had expected. But I'm still puzzled as to how the thoughts, experiences, and emotions of this now-woman Hermione can somehow be stuffed down again back into the body and mind of a 14-year-old girl---and she not give herself away, that she is, inside, more than she appears on the outside. A memory-charm, perhaps, with a time-trigger?---set to "release" her 'adult' memories back into her consciousness when she becomes 17 again? Oh, but so cruelly hard and unfair to Severus! Looking forward to learning how you'll resolve this.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It will all be worked out with a little help from the Keeper of Time in the Department of Mysteries. I won't say just how though :)Thanks!Livvy
Hmmm, that could be a bit squicky if one wanted to stop and think about it too much. Making love to the woman who will be within short time, a child again. It put Sev in a moral dilemma there for, oh, maybe 5 minutes. LOL I imagine once she's back in her own time, that moral dilemma will seem a little different. She'll look sooo young to him!Speaking of moral dilemmas, Dumbledore's future self, the one of her original time, wouldn't be thinking of tinkering with her mind a bit when she comes back, so she doesn't remember her physical relationship with Severus, would he? .... Still wondering how you're going to handle all this!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh yes, Dumbledore will always be a scheming bastard underneath, and as for Severus' moral dilemma, that was why he put on his robe and said "Oh God, what have I done?" But they had grown up together, fell in love, so for now it is right. As for later... well we'll see. Can't reveal too much yet. Thanks,Livvy
“Or perhaps, I had a hard time knowing the woman I loved was now a little girl again, and I had to keep my distance,” he replied. <---I never entertained that notion, either. My heart just about broke reading this chapter. I look forward to the next one, keep up the good work!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I'm glad you caught that. A bit of a hint as to what will happen to get Hermione forward in time to 1993. We've still a while to go, but the next two chapters will reveal how this will all sort out. Thanks!Livvy
Perhaps she can pretend she had a really, really, rapid onset of puberty? Matured quickly? I can't wait to see how you handle this! :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
LOL!!!! That's really too funny! Very soon, the reveal will explain how this will work out! Thanks,Livvy
How is this all going to work out for them? Guess I'll have to trust you.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes. As Kaa sings in "The Jungle Book," "Trust in me...just in me...close your eyes...and trust in me."As he hypnotizes his victims ;)No, it's all going to be explained very soon! I'm excited, and I hope everyone likes the plan! Thanks!Livvy
so he finally knows the truth. wonderful update. thanks so much and i'm all aflutter to see what will happen next
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Once all the cards are on the table then you can really move forward. It's going to be a hard row to hoe for these two lovers, but they have a love that nothing can break. Thanks!Livvy
I'm glad Hermione finally told him... I'm wondering now just how exactly things will progress when she returns to her own time. Will she be 13-14 again? If so, will she remember any of what happened when she was in the past? Perhaps only in occasional dreams? Either way, it's going to be tough on Severus, watching her grow up right before him while he has to treat her cruelly to maintain the facade he's built up for the public. Can't wait to see what happens next!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
The next three chapters will show exactly how Severus and Dumbledore will handle this problem. Thanks,Livvy
Oh finally she tells him!I cant wait to see what will unfold from here! You really have captured this moment well!A~
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you. It was a hard chapter to write, not really knowing how "this" Severus would handle it. But he is a bit more tolerant and he does love Hermione so very much. Thanks!Livvy
This must be the calm before the storm.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Damn skippy :) Next chapter, Hermione will come clean to Severus and then the plan will start to hatch about what she's going to have to do.Thanks!Livvy
Hermione's choices for when to tell Severus the truth about her are getting slimmer and slimmer! The longer she puts this off, the less chance that things will go well... I certainly hope that the pleasant climate of France will help to soften things when she tells him-- she is going to tell him, right?Another nice transitionary chapter, and a good example for Dumbledore that Hermione doesn't have all the answers despite being from the future. Speaking of the future, if she returns to her own time does she remain an adult or does she somehow regress back to the age she was when she left? If the latter, it would certainly explain how she was so psychologically mature compared to "the boys". I'll be interested to see how you have it work if she returns to her proper timeline.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Yes, the next chapter will have Hermione telling Severus the truth about her real past. I hope you continue to like the direction the fic is going. Thanks,Livvy
I think you have to keep the future the same but....like you said....little Hermione will be coming. Then she will disappear. That ought to be interesting for Harry and Ron and Severus.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
IN the next three chapters, it will all come out what will happen to Hermione.THanks,Livvy
Ahh I had to keep trying not to cry!Beautiful story.. hope it has a happy ending :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
I am a firm believer in happy endings... but we are still a long ways off from the end. We're almost half-way through :)Thanks,Livvy
excellent!!! thank you for such a great chapter - the emotional toll that this is taking on HG is in such marked contrast to SS's happiness. Really nice tension and again, good secondary characteriazation through dialoge. Can't wait for the next installment.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Next chapter will have Hermione telling Severus the truth about where she came from. Thanks,Livvy
Fine something happened to the Longbottoms as it should have in time. However, you are the author of this story and could make some time of healing in the future, right?...
I'm worried about Severus's reaction when Hermione finally tells him the truth - but I still want them to get married in this time frame oddly enough...
Great Job, Thanks for being such a fantastic author!!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thank you. THe next chapter will be the big reveal where Hermione tells Severus about where she came from. Hope you like it!Thanks,Livvy
i'm glad lily was able to forgive hermione in the end. love how hermione and severus are so close. great update. looking forward to the progression. thanks so much
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Thanks! The next chapter will have Hermione telling Severus the truth about her past. Thanks!Livvy
Oh, how sad. Its good to know that at least Lily wasn't angry any more by the time she passed away but sad for Hermione that they never got to talk again. Why do I get the feeling that Severus is not going to handle Hermione's back story very well? Argh, its scary. I seriously hope that if he does flip out that they work it out. I can't wait to see what happens next. Much Love ~ Brena
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Well, the next chapter will answer all your concerns. I hope you like it.Thanks,Livvy
So much is happening in the wizarding world, I keep forgetting how young Hermione was when she went back in time. I enjoyed seeing them so happy together but I dread how Severus will react when Hermione tells him her secret. Wonderful chapter, loved it.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
The next chapter will be big. Hermione will finally come clean with Severus about her true past. Hope you like it!Thanks,Livvy
Oh course Hermione didn't know about the Longbottoms. Frankly, anything she knows at this point won't change much, but, yes, she will have to go forward in time and not cross paths with little Hermione.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
The next chapter will have Hermione telling Severus the truth, and how re reacts to it.Thanks!Livvy
wow, i can't wait to read more! this was a great chapter!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Next chapter is going to be a big one! Thanks!Livvy
I love the tender interactions between Hermione and Sev.They are perfect for each other! It's also warming to know that Lily did love James eventually.Remus is also such a lovely character! But i will admit, I hate how the Longbottom's suffered.I think that makes me the sadest both in fanfiction, and in the books.Poor Neville :( Great chapter!A~
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
It really tore Hermione up, but I think if she knew what was going to happen, she wouldn't have been able to stop herself from interveneing and then Lord knows what would have happened to her timeline? Thanks!Livvy
I can see things are going to get a tad complicated! :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh, yeah. Well spotted. Next chapter is going to be a humdinger. Thanks!Livvy
I know she'll tell him soon, but she really should have done it in this chapter. A marriage proposal is very serious and Severus should know everything about her. I think it's ironic that she told Severus that in his room he didn't have to pretend, but that's exactly what she is doing.
I truly understand her not wanting to ruin Severus' proposal. Her thoughts on that matter made total sense. But she should have really told him 'tomorrow' instead of fearing what tomorrow would bring. The visit with Remus was interesting and seemed to help Hermione with a little bit of closure. I'm glad Lily finally grew up enough to realize some of what she'd done. Having kids tends to help you mature.
Response from debjunk (Reviewer)
Oh, and she'd better not go back to her time with Severus furious with her. That would really make me ticked!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Oh, now that would be cold...but I'm not making any promises. And yes, I know I'm evil ;)Thanks!Livvy
Woow I'm loving this. I do hope when Hermione comes clean that Severus will understand.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Next chapter, my dear, all will be revealed. Thanks!Livvy
I am very curious as to how you managed to work out the myriad complexities of writing a time turner story to the point of acceptance for what you needed, what you wanted.I had worked on the concept of a time turner story but, it gave me such a headache, that I've all but given up on it. I'm really looking forward to how you have it worked out that Hermione has been gone from her own time for so long. Not to mention how you get her back to when she belongs.
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Hey you!Why does it seem that I haven't heard from you in a while, or am I going nuts? I had worked on the concept of a time turner story but, it gave me such a headache, that I've all but given up on it. ROFLMAO!!! Maybe that's why my brain is fried. I gave this fic my all :)I hope everyone likes how I do this. In the next three chapters the plan will be revealed how this thing is going to work with Hermione going to FORWARD to 1993. LOL!!!Thanks!Livvy

Can I blame my lack of comment on being submerged for months in the SS/HG G.E.? One can get lost there! It's either that or laryngitis of the fingers ... take your pick. It has nothing to do with laziness in reviewing. Not me. As always, looking forward to the next chapter.
This chapter had so many happy moments between Severus and Hermione---yet I couldn't truly enjoy any of them, for knowing that something really, really bad is looming ahead of them now. I'm so glad you've already got all this planned out (you do, right? iirc, you'd mentioned the story was finished?), but I don't see how it can possibly work out well. If Hermione waits, then little "Hermione Granger" will enter Hogwarts in 10 years, and no way will the MANY people who knew her, not remember her when they see the younger "her", and oh lord, what then? If she takes a time-turner and goes ahead to her "own" time, --then she goes back to a YOUNGER version of herself than she is now---back to being a 3rd-year student--and how can THAT possibly work out? At this point, she's--what?--about 19 or 20 years old? She's known what it is to love and be intimate with Severus, to become an adult--how is all that going to be "stuffed" back into the mind and body of a 14-year-old? If she uses the time-turner to "jump ahead" all the way to the future version of her current actual age--to when she would be 19 or 20 in the future, had she not left--how will she find her world changed, as a result of her having gone back in time? Severus feels NO loyalty or tie any more to Lily, and thus would feel none toward her son. He never delivered the prophecy to Voldemort, and so feels no burden of guilt or regret over that. So what incentive is there for him to guard, protect, or help Harry Potter--the hope of the wizarding world?I know Hermione didn't mean to 'mess up' the past, but the truth is that she went back in time at a time when she didn't know nearly what she "thought" she knew (about Sirius Black, for instance, nor about Severus' deep love for and betrayal of Lily, and how that was the key behind his utterly sacrificing himself for the victory of the Order and the protection of her son). Because of these "holes" in her knowledge, she has--already HAS--messed up history far more than she even realizes she has. That being the case, what sort of future has Hermione created? You see how involved you have me, in your story? I can't wait to see how you've worked all this out!
Response from livvy6 (Author of A Change is Going to Come)
Just remember that Harry defeated V. so Snape did do his spying, this is just Hermione's POV, so we really don't know how it all went down. Also remember that Severus is doing this for Hermione, for all the Muggleborns he saw being mistreated. Hermione nurtured his heart and gave him a larger ability to love. But yes... he still hates James, Sirius and Remus, doesn't know about Peter, and still is a bit put out by Lily, so take that into consideration. Three more chapters and it will all be revealed what will happen to Hermione. I hope you like it!THanks!Livvy
